Séjour merveilleux au centre de la médina

Best Riad ever

My daughter and I stayed at Riad Rcif for several nights, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The riad is beautiful, and a truly relaxing place in the Medina. Above all, the service is top-notch, with great communication. Every question we asked was answered quickly and with a heart-felt smile, any help we needed was there. Before arriving we let the riad know that we had a car and clear directions for parking were provided, with staff ready at the lot when we drove in to help with luggage. During our stay we took the car out for an excursion, and had no problem doing so and parking it back in the lot when we returned. Thank you to everyone at Riad Rcif and espeacialy Abdul for such a welcoming stay.

Living the dream

We had a wonderful time at the Riad Rcif .The place is beautiful and thoughtfully remodeled. The staff is incredibly caring and helpful with everything especially Abdul was amazing host and best storyteller . The riad is in a great location with a short walk to the Bab Rcif while being on quiet street. Breakfast and drinks on the roof top are a great way to start and end your day. It is a perfect place for a family and we loved staying there.

Ein wunderschönes Riad, eine tolle Lage, aber aufpassen bei Extra-Leistungen...

Das Road und das Zimmer sind ein Traum, ebenso das Frühstück auf der Terrasse.

Einzelleistungen sind unverhältnismäßig teuer. Das Abendessen, das leider auch in der vegetarischen Variante nicht gut war, das Hamam....

Perfect in every way.

I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful riad. It is jaw droppingly gorgeous, meticulously restored to its original 14th century splendor over several years by 130+ local artists and artisans. The pictures don't do it justice. The owner is a lovely man who is passionate about the riad and about making his guests feel like royalty. He arranged tours for us, both by car and on foot, with local guides who quickly felt like old friends. Aziz was particularly wonderful! The rooftop restaurant at the riad has a truly spectacular view of the old city, and the food and service are top notch. The hammam and spa are wonderful, and the massage was one of the best I've had on my travels. The location of the riad is excellent. I don't know how anybody could rate this riad less than five stars. It deserves at least six.

My only regret is not staying longer!

All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Ayman, Mohamed, Salim and some others that we don’t remember their names for the professionality and flexibility. The breakfasts, dinners and massage were fantastic.

Stunning Hotel in Great Location

The best hotel we stayed at in Morocco - the hotel is exquisitely refurbished in a perfect location close to the edge of the Medina. Breakfast is phenomenal as are the dinner options. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. Our group also booked the Hamam and massage, which was a great way to relax after the long transit into Fez. Highly recommend Riad Rcif all around

The only caveat was the guide that we booked through the hotel. They called a central agency who assigned the guide, so don't believe they had much input on the specific guide, but he was purely pushing shops where he earned a hefty commission. Zero history or local context and we caught him in a dozen lies - "today is last day of art festival and shops are heavily discounted" etc. Unpleasant and would encourage vetting guides before beginning tour

Nice if you like history and art. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Shower drain was fully clogged. Bedroom was loud, no soundproofing whatsoever.

We entered a fairy tale

Very beautiful Riad, real nice roof top terras where breakfast and dinner is served. Personel, Selim, Hasan and their colleguas, are friendly and helpful.

Difficult to find first time. But it appears there are signs all throughout the medina starting per gate

INCREDIBLE, great service and gorgeous interior, beyond expectations

Everything was amazing, the rooms were beautiful, the courtyard was the most beautiful of the Riads I visited and stayed in. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was really traditional and delicious. I loved every moment there.

There was nothing to not like, it was wayy beyond expectations, truly nothing to complain about

it was the best experience possible!!

We stayed at this riad for 02 nights and we had the best Experience possible. As we booked, the staff was really gentle and tried to help us. When we arrive, we were picked up at the train station and it was not hard at all to go inside the medina. There are a lot of signposts indicating where to go. We went out at night and it was also really fine. All the pictures from the riad is very legitimate and true. Everything just like a palace. The rooms are very also very comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, and the view from the terrace, where they served it, just made even better. All the staffs was trying to make us feel at home. Don’t miss the opportunity to do the SPA - it was a great and unique opportunity. If I go back to Fez someday, I’ll be at this Riad again. Thank you very much, Salim, for welcomed us.

Superb

The Riad is very beautiful and the room is cosy. And the hotel is so nice to provide the guide labels in complicated alleys for you to find them. The viewing from the rooftop is also just beyond expectation. We received great welcome as well.

I was going to provide 100 points for my stay here. But the last morning destroyed everything. The hotel promised to provide the breakfast in 8:15 and provide a guide for us to take taxi as we were going to take the train in the morning. However the breakfast come 8:45 as we have sit there for 30 minutes and we have waited for another 10 minutes for the guide. Even worse, in the last minute, we're told to pay some extra tax. Could you please just tell us the day before as you already know we need to catch a train in the morning. Finally, we almost ran to the train.

I had the pleasure of staying two nights here. I had to switch room each night because of the availability, but I wasok with that because I was just excited for them able to accommodate me! That being said, I was able to see and stay in 2 different rooms- which were gorgeous!!! the manager was SO friendly and sooo accommodating to all my needs. Definitely recommend this while in Fes. OH! I also was able to enjoy the dinner on the rooftop AND the spa!!!! Great stat!! recommend this place highly

The most beautiful and luxurious experience !

The Riad Rcif just opened after 6 years of renovation with the help of 156 craftsmen. Hicham the owner told us everything about the Riad, which was ordered to be made by and for the Pasha of Fes in the 14th century. Entirely inlayed chairs with mother of pearl and abalone, pure silk rugs, hand carved gypsum, a pool, with the only modern addition of an elevator… this place is the most luxurious one you will find in Fes, if not in whole Morocco. Lahssen and Taha were really kind and helpful, and made our stay the best it could be. Having their copious breakfast on the rooftop lets you enjoy literally the most beautiful view of Fes. We will definitely come back.

Would visit again and again and again! A real Moroccon treat!

Everything from start to finish was wonderful at Riad Rcif and Spa. We just wished that we had another night there. After an uphill climb through the alleyways of the Medina, we reached this magnificent jewel of a hotel. They don't miss a beat from the welcome (with traditional mint tea & amazing staff), to the beautiful rooms and features all over the Riad, to the incredible views from the roof and wonderful breakfast. I cannot recommend it enough.

Beautiful Riad

The Riad itself is the most beautiful thing. From the hall to the bathrooms. The food is good and plenty, attendants nice and helpful. It also has a Haman inside the Riad.

They could offer payments with credit card. Could be more signs on the street to how to get to the Main Street on the Medina.

Superb

Friendly staff, nice breakfast and dinner! The Raid is very beautiful and very cozy. We try the massage and hammam which is great. Love it.

A bit difficult to find the entrance, but you can contact the hotel before arrival and they can pick you up. Do not trust those Walk-by who try to guide you the way.
