Wonderful convenient value in the city.

Location. Great staff. Very large for being in the city. Large walk-in closet. Good A/C. Nice kitchenette area. Nice place to sit. Quiet. Feels very roomy. Nice breakfast offerings and chance to talk with other guests.

The bed was a bit saggy in the middle. Clean etc but well used.

absolutely lovely property and very kind owner/staff. Everyone was welcoming, the building is breathtakingly gorgeous (clean and well-maintained while still retaining its historical charm!), the bed was super comfortable. No notes, just glowing things to say.

Lovely historic hotel, great value for money.

This was a great experience: the space was huge, and very well fitted out; the staff were exceptionally friendly. We were in Albany for a stopover, just to have a look around, and this was a great base from which to see the local museums.

Fancy hotel with a home feeling

Beautiful fancy hotel with classical wood interiors in the lobby and modern comfort in the rooms. The owners and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great, with even some homemade cooking. It will be a great memory

Great place for a two-days stay in Albany

We ended our 12 day bike ride of the Erie Canal Trail from Buffalo in Albany and the Morgan Stale House was the perfect place to wrap it up for two nights. The hotel has a lovely old style feel but is fully functional with spacious comfortable rooms and attractive shared spaces. It is right on a lovely park and close to restaurants

In historic part of Albany with shops, restaurants and a park in easy walking distance

The room was very clean. We enjoyed the area, especially our morning walk in the park. The staff was friendly and courteous.

While breakfast was good, think pre-Covid large chain hotel breakfasts, I was hoping for a hot breakfast. Did not realize it was serve yourself.

Excellent stay in Historic Albany, New York

Set in the historic section of Albany New Yor,k, across from Washington Square Park. Beautiful area and beautiful architecture throughout the area, both inside the rooms and outside. Good continental breakfast is offered on the main area of the Inn with indoor and outdoor seating in the back garden. It us a pleasant experience.

Amenities within the room were scarce in the area of bar soap and shampoo. I recommend bringing your own. The pandemic created a shutdown of businesses in walking distance in the area. I would recommend taxis or your own car to get around. Parking is available for a small daily fee through the Inn.

such a beautiful and well maintained historic property with lots of nice spaces you can enjoy beyond the guest room. super comfy beds. staff was so friendly and accommodating! the assigned close parking was so convenient.

I felt like I was transported into a glamorous time in history, such as the 1920s.

The building is beautiful and well-maintained. My room and the wallpaper and glass doorknobs were all lovely.

The radiator was noisy and woke me up a few times.
