The Location ! It’s 8 minutes walk to the Tanneries, it’s at the entrance gate of Bab Rcif (one of the entrances to the Medina). I’m happy about the on-time car pick-up to the Fes Train Station. The male staff were quite smiling and very pleasant, the females weren’t. Thank you for serving me breakfast despite the after hours. The breakfast was served very quickly, probably only 3minutes wait time. They have a lovely rooftop view, if only it wasn’t raining the whole time.

The cleaning “standards” is questionable. Maybe for the staff it is clean because you don’t see clutter. BUT, notice the cushions at the reception area, it’s turned brown from decades of use, it needed deep cleaning or a new upholstery; there is a cat in the Riad (which is perfectly fine) but it sits on the lounge chairs and the staff cannot be bothered vacuuming its fur left on the seats where guests also sit when they dine. In the room, the carpets are clearly not vacummed; the sheets are also questionable. I, by the way, left my Silk Pillowcases in the room (darn). The breakfast was so-so. No hairdryer (I didn’t bother asking), only 1 towel was supplied for the 2 nights stay, only 1 tiny liquid soap (no shampoo) that you cannot even pour the contents out! So, all that for €55/night stay. And they charged me €10 city tax, when actually I was alone and on booking . com it says it’s only €2.50 per person. I didn’t bother questioning it, it’s all about the integrity of the staff.

L’accueil a été chaleureux, le personnel adorable et attentif à notre confort. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter la médina. Le Riad propose des excursions ce qui est le top 👍🏻 Nous y avons passé 4 nuits, les petits déjeuners étaient fantastique 🥰

Deux points négatifs à retenir : - nous avons fait une excursion à Chefchaouen nous sommes partis à 8h et sommes revenues à 18h30 sachant qu’il y a presque 8h de route aller/retour trop peu de temps sur place pour le prix payé ! - nous sommes prit la formule hammam et massage pour nous, le spa est à revoir massage trop court et pas du tout relaxant (l’ambiance n’y est pas, pas de musique et table de massage qui couine, masseuse qui parle avec sa collègue pendant le massage et répond à son téléphone)

Très bien placé, à l entrée de la médina, à deux pas des tanneurs et de la mosquée Qarawiyyin. Très beau Riad. Petit déjeuner copieux et inclus. Personnel très accueillant.
