Great hotel to stay the night if you're travelling in Bavaria. Breakfast was nice. Personnel hardly speaking English, but it was not a big problem.

It was perfect! I can definitely recommend this place, especially huge thank you to the staff, they even allowed us to have a breakfast earlier than officially, so we could follow our trip plans right after according to our schedule. We will surely come back!

We had a very nice and comfy bed and a beautiful shower. The Landgasthof is so clean and has a great staff that goes above meeting your every need. The food in the restaurant was delicious, too. We had to depart early and, against our pleading, they came in early and before breakfast hours to feed us and make sure we were not hungry on the road. We just cannot say enough nice things. Thomas runs a terrific Inn. Wunderbar!

Good location and value for money.

It’s a surprise when we get the room, it has a balcony face to the road and mountains, we can’t like it more! Only one staff can speak good English, but everyone is nice and kind. Breakfast is simple, but well arranged, you have the table set according to the room. Again we really happy to stay here, and feel lucky that didn’t stay in Fussen town

Both owners were incredibly helpful, given that I had a work-related travel delay and arrived one hour after their Check-in would usually close. They provided an excellent and delicious breakfast, and were incredibly friendly throughout my stay. The rooms are newly renovated which also makes the stay all the more comfortable. I recommend very highly - and hope to be back again soon!

I only got to stay for one night!

Close to the 2 castles, which is nice if you want to stay outside of Fussen. Castle park property maybe 15 minutes or so away. Car parking at the property is a huge plus. Nice countryside to take in with rolling hills and open green fields surrounding the hotel. Great other beer garden/restaurant available to stop at on the way to/from the castles off the main road the hotel sits on. Just be aware of flies buzzing around while you eat etc.

No AC or fans in the room. The room we stayed in baked during the day while you’re out, which if you left windows open flies and mosquitos for the remainder of your night was a huge problem when attempting to sleep. Predominantly non-English speaking staff, which can be challenging after a long day at the castles to attempt to simply unwind etc.

The room was very nice and big enough for three of us. We have spent here one night. Breakfast was great and also we had dinner at the restaurant. Dishes are large and tasty 😋

Very nice hotel located within 15 min drive of the castles. Modern rooms that appeared to be recently renovated with an "Alpine chic" feel. Very clean and comfortable room, modern and clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Great views of the mountains. Staff were very friendly and attentive. When we arrived, we tried the front door which was locked so we just went around to the side by the restaurant where we were warmly greeted by the staff and checked in. Breakfast was great with a good variety to choose from. We did arrive in time for dinner at the restaurant and we were sure glad we did! Food was excellent and can't recommend this place enough!

Amazing hospitality. The person at the reception( i wish I had taken the name) was super generous and helpful. We arrived late but he helped us with a room upgrade and carrying our luggage to our rooms. Delicious breakfast. Room was big, neat and tidy.

The room under the roof did not have a curtain/blind for a huge window in the ceiling making it impossible to lock out the morning sun

It was a warm night and we had to keep our windows open throughout the night, however our room was facing the road which made for a really early wake-up with the car noises.

Staff was friendly and the rooms were super clean and comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel has good value for money food.

The breakfast could have offered more choice, but this nothing but inconvenience.

Incredibly friendly staff. Very accomidating. We had a small problem with our booking and they resolved it perfeclty. Facility is new and modern. Amazing kitchen! Great food. Excellent service (rare in Germany!)
