About this condo rental
Aloha~ Welcome to your little slice of paradise! We are the new owners of a long-time favorite and previously 5 star reviewed vacation rental (VRBO requires that you start the unit's listing, reviews, and star history from scratch with new ownership). Maui Vista Unit 2419 is a renovated, two-bedroom, two-bathroom, loft condo in the heart of Kihei. Located in the Maui Vista condo resort, there are three pools and six tennis courts for you to enjoy, when you aren’t busy at the best beach in Maui—right across the street! The unit is equipped with queen beds in both the master bedroom (downstairs) and the loft. In addition, a queen-sized pull-out sofa can accommodate additional guests in the living room (recommended for children). Because the condo has two stories, the living room and master bedroom have high vaulted ceilings which add to the condo's spacious, airy feeling. There is air conditioning in the master bedroom and in the living room, which extends to the kitchen and loft. In addition, each room has a ceiling fan and floor fan. On cooler days you can combine the fans with screened windows to enjoy Hawaii's famous trade winds. If you are planning to cook, the kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee maker, blender, and all the plates, bowls, pots, and pans you could need. Master of the grill? There is a BBQ ready for you right down stairs. If you would rather dine out, we are located within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Kihei! To ensure you, your friends, and your family can enjoy beautiful Maui to the fullest, we provide a number of fun amenities as well, including: Boogies boards Snorkel gear Tennis rackets and balls Swimming noodles Beach volleyball (beach volleyball court is just a 5 minute walk) Tommy Bahama Beach chairs Beach umbrella Beach towels Sand castle building kit Pool paddle game Frisbees Games (Guess Who?, Taboo, Monopoly, Pop-o-matic Trouble, Phase 10, playing cards) There is also a washer & dryer in the unit for your convenience. Located on the fourth floor, the building’s elevator makes it easy to bring in luggage, groceries, or just to complete your journey back from a long day at the beach. There is one parking stall provided for use along with the unit and night time security (upon check in, visitors are given a parking pass from the main office; a second parking stall can be rented from the main office for a minimal fee). Located in the coveted Building Two, the unit is removed from the street and the traffic noise, but still close to the ocean. The crystal clear water & one of the most beautiful beaches (Charley Young/ Kamaole I) is located right across the grab your beach chair and snorkeling gear, and you are there! Cove Park is also steps away to learn how to surf or paddle board. We hope you enjoy your time visiting a slice of Maui paradise. Not a bad deal or place to stay, easy checkin in/out and location isn’t to bad. Walking distance to a beach and food locations, we had a nice time staying here.

Our whole family loved our stay at Matt and Valerie’s condo. It was the perfect location for us; it took minutes to walk to Kam 1 Beach, The Cove for surfing and lots of shops and places to eat. It was a great place to unwind in the evenings. My girls loved staying up in the loft. There was everything we needed in the kitchen from dishes, pots and pans to spices. It was also so incredibly handy to have all the beach gear we needed to enjoy the beach. The property manager and their on the ground contacts were so friendly and incredibly responsive, and they provided quick support for things we needed. They were also very accommodating to us on our last day when we had a late flight! We couldn’t have been happier with our time at Maui Vista. If we come back to Maui, we will definitely see if we can stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Kihei. The building and grounds were beautiful . We did have a peekaboo view of the ocean and were across the street from Charlie Young Beach. The building was quiet with good parking.
Our host was very responsive and sent us help when needed . Keeping the condo cool was a bit tricky but there were plenty of fans to help the air conditioning. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. We were very pleased with the supplies provided in the kitchen , bathroom and living room.
The outdoor and beach supplies were very plentiful and in good shape. We would recommend staying there.

Great place, and a great location! Easily walkable to everything you need. Lots of extra stuff to use like chairs, snorkeling equipment, umbrellas, beach towels etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Our unit was very, very hot. It’s located on the top floor and even though it’s advertised as having AC the air conditioning does not work well enough to cool the apartment. There are loose tiles in the floor that have been covered up by a rug. For 340 dollars a night this place is definitely a bad deal.

The condo is beautiful and clean. The kitchen is well appointed and you can find all you need for the beach. The exterior is really well maintained and the beautiful beach is just across the street. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Exactly as shown in photo's, well stocked with supplies, great location, easy access to local shops for all your needs and wants, but most of all Great Communication. Our flight arrived unexpectedly early, and they were able to accommodate me and my family. Overall Great!!

Property is exactly as presented online. The owners provide you with a great deal of information of things to do, restaurants in the area etc. The beach is right across the street and the condo has everything you will need for the beach. I would recommend this unit to other travelers. Great place and great location!

This property is as advertised: a decent two bedroom (one is a loft)/two bath condo that is a three minute walk from Charley Young Beach. We explored that beach, along with Wailea, Ma'alea Harbor, Haleakala N.P., and also a day trip to Volcanoes N.P. on the Big Island. The condo was a comfortable, welcome place to return to after each outing and trip.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the Maui Vista. The condo and building were very clean and had everything we needed and wanted. The pre-arrival information from our hosts, Matt and Val, made everything simple! They were wonderful to book with right from the beginning.
The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and appliances- (including a crock pot and blender )-we had everything we needed to make meals when we ate in. The grounds and the BBQ area were kept very clean. The beach cupboard had lots of beach chairs and an umbrella along with snorkel gear, coolers, and sand toys. We enjoyed playing tennis and cooling off in the pool.
The condo has a great location. The Charlie Young beach was a short and easy walk across the street- and there was a cross walk right in front of building 1. It was also easy to walk to the surf beach and walk to some of favourite treats including Maui Gelato and Waffle, The Cinnamon Bun Place, and Coconuts Fish Company.
You could see the ocean from the lanai and it didn’t get too hot on the lanai so it was a nice escape from the heat at the beach. The condo was always a nice temperature just by having the patio door open and the fans running. One of the great things about the condo was that it was quiet because it’s far enough away from the road that you don’t hear any road noise.

We stayed in this condo for 8 nights. Two queens, drawer full of games, two good sized tvs (if you care) washer/dryer, dishwasher. All the kitchen things you would need. They have so many cool things available for you to use at the beach. Chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, floaties, and so much more! It’s located in an amazing part of town too! You can walk to tons of restaurants, shops, and the beach. Definitely eat at Paia Fish Market. So. Good. I would definitely rent this condo again. Loved the location, was super impressed by all the cool stuff we could borrow. Lovely lovely place.

We had a great stay in this condo! It was clean, well stocked and perfectly located! The resort is also nice and well maintened. The only minor downside is the really small balcony… but who has time to seat on a balcony when on Maui!
The perfect Charley Young Beach is only a 4 minutes walk!! And we also appreciated a lot all the beach gear available in the condo!
We will be back and we already referred this place to friends and family! Thank you!

The location is great! You can easily walk to the the beach, stores and restaurants.
Matt emailed us a full breakdown of all the details a week prior to us getting there, including suggested excursions and restaurants.
They supplied towels and made it feel like a hotel.
Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Easy walk to the beach. This unit is in the middle of 3 buildings so you have easy access to all 3 pools. Very quiet surroundings. Owners were wonderful to deal with.
