Nice little place in great location-everyone (including the cats!) we’re very friendly.

The location was great-near a beach and seafood restaurant which made it easy. Nice little village and my son loved all the friendly cats and kittens.

Most amazing stay in beautiful Mandrakia

The Seashell house is a dream in the most beautiful part of Milos. So comfortable, we slept so well. The place was spotless & looked better in real than on the photos. The terrace is amazing with a beautiful view on the sea & mountains and a 10m away from the main viewpoint where you can admire the beautiful little colourful Mandrakia pier with all the boats. Our daughter (and us) loved to go watch the sunset, have diner at Medusa & chill on the terrace with the cats :) Our daughter turned 6 when we stayed there so we put a few balloons up & Philip and Helen the owners left a present for our daughter which she loved. You can park right at the front of the house or behind on a carpark (there is always place) so you don’t block the beautiful view. Don’t look further, this is the dream house to explore Milos. Easy to drive there (more difficult to drive to Klima or Firopotamos). Thank you Helen & Philip! We will be back :)

Fantastic house in a superb location. I would love to stay here again.

Seashell House is a fabulous little house that was great to stay in. The village is our favourite in Milos. It was great to relax outdoors at the property either at the outdoor table area or in the deck chairs. The view is lovely, particularly at sunset. While small, the house is very well appointed and comfortable to live in. The double glazing means it's very quiet inside and teamed with the air con and fans it was nice and cool even on the hottest days and nights. We really enjoyed having a kitchen and bluetooth stereo and the wifi was great. I would LOVE to stay in this house again.

My husband wanted to stay for a month! The property is in a peaceful and beautiful location.

The property is more of a vacation home with one bedroom and a common room with a kitchenette. The dining table is on the front porch overlooking an amazing view of the rocky cliffs and sea. The location is 5 km away from the busy port town of Adamas and you definitely need a rental car or quad which is a popular way to get around. It's only about 10-15 minutes from Sarakiniko Beach. The owner/host Phillip met us and gave us a quick tour by car of surrounding historic sites. He also provided us with breakfast provisions i.e. bread, fruit, coffee, tea, water and juice as well as packaged meat and cheese. Phillip and his wife Helen were very friendly and helpful. Medusa Restaurant is a short walk away and serve delicious meals.

To use hot water, you must turn on the breaker and allow it to heat for 20 minutes before your shower.

100% recommend staying here!

we loved everything about it. very spacious, newly remodeled, comfortable a/c and heat, speaker system to plug into, amazing espresso and coffee machine, continental breakfast provided, comfy sitting area outside and inside. 100% recommend!

I like to have blackout curtains to sleep but this is not common in Europe or Greece.

A truly memorable experience in the Seashell house with stunning views!

Stunning location with gorgeous view! Convenient to beaches, Plaka and port. Perfect size, clean and modern. Steps from the best restaurant on the island, Medusa. The owners Phillipe and Eleni were so gracious, warm and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Eleni brought us her home made Greek butter cookies which were absolutely delicious. Mandrakia is laid back and relaxing. A car is necessary to experience the island from here, and we found it easy to navigate the island. The Seashell house is a true gem and we had a fabulous stay. We loved it there and love Milos!

Exceptional

The location was perfect. The quiet bay of Mandrakia and beautiful beach around the corner were idyllic. The space was spacious, clean, and had everything we could need. Close to so many beautiful beaches and central to get to Plaka or Pollonia. This is a wonderful spot to stay when visiting Milos! Philippe & Helene were the most lovely owners - between the fruits, homemade jams, bread, wine and coffee etc left for us to their warm check-ins, we felt right at home. Thank you so much! Cannot recommend higher.

Loved it.. gorgeous location.. such a cute house, hosts were so nice, they dropped in with cookies

I wish that the area wasnt so busy... the local tavern I thought was out of the way and we were told they would deliver food.. they were packed and said no. which meant local options to eat were very limited. Best to take some groceries.

The home is in a very cute, traditional fishing village and it was a perfect get away from the hustle and bustle!

The location was great and the home was really clean. It was so sweet that the host came to greet us at check-in and also send us off the next day.

What a welcome, what a stay.... perfect!

When you check in to the seashell house you are met by the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly hosts - Eleni and Philip. Their son, who has fluent English and all the welcoming friendly nature of his parents, is on hand to offer any help needed. Eleni and Philippe are the type of hosts who display such pride in their property - it feels like an extension of their home. The Greek welcome is part of what sets this place apart from the rest. But you’re on holiday and you want to be comfortable during your stay. Well fear not - every detail is looked after.... You are welcomed with complimentary bottle of local wine, home made jams, home made cake, locally produced honey, fresh bread, water, coffee, orange juice, fruit and charcuterie - all you’ll need to keep you going for a couple of days breakfasts at least. Every detail in the property is considered - beach towels, shower gels, strong WiFi and every time you turn to look for anything - it’s there. Be it a knife, a wine glass, a salad bowl ... brilliant. Finally the house itself is immaculately clean and well kept - so comfortable - there is a beautiful shaded outdoor seating area where we had our dinner several nights overlooking Mandrakia bay with passers by looking on in jealousy - don’t want to cook? That’s fine a the renowned Medousa taverna is steps away and will let you take your food back to the patio. Mandrakia itself is amazing - especially at sunrise and sunset and we reached even in the most far fetched isolated beach in the island in well under an hour. Sarakiniko is only 20 min walk across the coast and Plaka, Adamas are all 5 min drive away. We loved Milos so much we are extending our stay and the Seashell House so much we are coming back in a weeks time. We’ll remember everything about Seashell House - especially Eleni and Philippe. The best hosts and the best vacation spot for a couple!!

Mandrakia is absolutely beautiful-- a picturesque Greek fishing village. The house sits perched on the hill, with a beautiful patio, overlooking the stunning view. Philippe and Elina are the best hosts and we felt loved and welcomed to the Island by all!!
