We loved our stay at Justins; there was plenty of room for the 5 adults in my family. It was peaceful and just beautiful having breakfast looking out over the ocean views. Its a 2 minute drive into town; lovely bakery, a beautiful restaurant on the beach and an IGA supermarket. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely character home for a getaway. Awesome views from the living areas and master bedroom. I enjoyed preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen, however I couldn't work out how to use the oven so we had microwaved garlic bread. Shame we could not find access to the beach within walking distance but plenty to see and do within a short drive away.

This house is in an amazing location just out of Bicheno, but has one of the best views in Bicheno of the water and diamond island. Sitting on the deck we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming. If you walk down diamond island resort you can get to the beach easy. The house really needs some attention if need a really good clean and a new coat of paint wouldn't hurt. The bbq we were told that was at the property was complety unusable witch really was annoying as we brought all bbq stuff to eat. The kitchen and stove are good luckily we could cook our dinner there.. the beds are super comfortable only the double bunk bed need attention I think it need to be tighten up as it's super squeaky. We will defenty stay here again it's amazing location and central position if driving further up to bay of fires and other places. Everything we needed like bedding, towels, cooking utensils, pots,pans kitchen appliances was all provided and worked... We will be back again thanks

A perfect beach shack with amazing views over diamond island and the East coast of Tasmania, a few minutes drive to Bicheno township. Please bring your own wood for the fire to save any confusion - was great when it was going!

We had a nice stay due to it's beautiful location but the home was very old which I did expect but it would have a lot of potential if it was renovated slightly. There was a lack in communication regards to the having to turn the hot water on so nobody knew till the morning so majority either had a cold shower or didn't at all so that was very disappointing.

Hillside property with room for 8 off Tasman Highway above the ocean. No internet but weak Telstra/Vodafone signals. Very strong winds the evening we arrived so we kept indoors but local penguin viewing possible for the adventurous. 30 min north of Wineglass bay carpark. Bicheno has all the basics required for provisioning.

Thanks for having us. Bicheno was a lovely spot to stay. The main living room was lovely. The bathrooms could have had a little more tlc to make the house more comfortable. We had a giant huntsman spider and scorpion in one of the bathrooms, which was also quite cold. The fireplace was one of the reasons we booked it, however there was no firewood supplied. Some odd noises during the night made the stay a little less relaxing. Deck and windows with a view out to the ocean was beautiful.

We are from Melbourne and were travelling with friends from Canada. At first we had a little difficulty locating the property. It is actually 5mins drive away from the town centre. On arrival the back screen door key would not open door easily as one would have expected, Downstairs bathroom disappointing. When taps turned on bugs and brown grit came out, somewhat embarrassing for our visitors. Upstairs bathroom in need of attention. My husband slipped in the bath and could have been injured had I not been able to assist. The bath is very old, narrow and slippery. Non stick bath mat should be provided at the very least. On a positive note the beds were comfortable and upstairs bedroom has great ocean view. Overall the inside of the house was clean and tidy and front deck was lovely to be able to sit and enjoy the views.

The view was amazing. For a relatively expensive house it does need a thorough clean. My quilt cover had obviously not been washed as it was covered in sand and the pillows slips were stained. The kitchen was fairly clean, sadly the rest of the house was dirty, including cobwebs. Usual house maintenance has also been neglected. We were very disappointed.

The house has a good view but that’s about it. The beds are uncomfortable. There are rats in the roof cavity which were scratching. The gardens are overgrown and the place needed are really good clean. Would not recommend it.

Property was located in a fantastic position to access Diamond Island, the beach and the penguins. Property has an excellent wood fire and the view from the front deck is sensational. However advertised as 4 bedrooms and only has three, bathroom/toilet at back of house has an unpleasant smell, and compared with other places I have stayed at in Bicheno is poor value for money.

Good But....

The outlook was absolutely stunning. Shame about the access to the island as it was impossible to get to it without several kilometres walk. We gave up. The property was adequate but does fall down in the area of cleanliness. Lots of cobwebs. On the other hand was well kitted out with all appliances. We loved the seafood from the local outlet. Not certain about recommending the property there may be others locally that I would prefer.

View was amazing but disappointed with the amount of insects and spiders in every bedroom. Yard was over grown and messy and house had a strong musty smell. Main bedroom light flickered on/off all night even when switched off.

Lovely basic house in a great location. Fireplace was lovely and kept us warm in early Spring. Having two bathrooms was convenient for a family of six. Justin readily answered our questions when phoned. Generally clean but there were some dead insects and cobweb over windows and front entrance. Fantastic location for friends travelling to Freycinet National Park.

Certainly a fantastic location to stay while visiting east coast-facing the beach, and can watch the sheep strolling on the meadow right in front of the house. The house is a bit under maintained but overall is still quite good and clean. It is certainly a very nice choice for family trip.

Lovely deck with views over a farm to the ocean. The drawback for us was that although the sea was just over the road, we couldn't work out how to access it and ended up having to drive to an access point 1-2 km away. The house is spacious and clean. The kitchen is great and well equipped. The positioning of the TV is a bit high and difficult for the whole family to watch!

We stayed 3 nights here. The location and the views are great. The kitchen is well equipped and clean - supplied coffee and tea were very much appreciated. A couple of things could be improved: there were a lot of cobwebs and dead insects around the windows, the bunk bed creaks and moves a fair bit and there were only 6 dining chairs for 7 people. The owner was very helpful with prompt communication and good local advice.
