Big rooms and lovely breakfast
Location, a bit from the centre , a good 20 mins walk and going back to the hotel is a hike up the hill.

-Comfortable room. A little bit smaller than what the photos make it seem to be.
-very quiet neighborhood compared to the busy streets near plaza del armas
-staff is friendly and helpful
-breakfast is good. Not a huge buffet, but has most of the things you need. It has a nice view as well.
-All the days we had an early tour, hotel staff prepared us a lunch box. That was cool. Even in the days we left at 2am.
-hotel has a heater in the room, that was very helpful. It can get quite cold in cusco during night time.
-very clean
-good bathroom, very good shower. Had hot water everytime.
-wifi is good.
-location might be a problem for SOME (not all). Cusco is a very up and down city with many hills. Which means that most of the hotels might be located upper or lower than plaza del armas, which is the place you will probably go to eat or shop. Muru is located on one of those streets, which meant we had to walk up and down quite a distance in order to get where we wanted.
2 days of our stay we arrived very tired from 1 day tour and even thought we wanted to eat out in one of the awesome restaurants Cusco has, the distance made us order food instead.
Again, this might not be a problem for some people. But it bothered me.

The room is comfy and the breakfast is great. The front desk receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

The staff are very friendly, whether at the front desk or in the breakfast area. (Everyone performs multiple duties at this small hotel.) Juan is exceptional--easy going yet attentive, always a smile for guests.
When we pulled up, we were very pleased to see that this small hotel faces a pleasant little park.
The breakfast is good. In addition to the steamer trays, they will cook fresh eggs (omelette). The view of the city is nice.
The bathroom is cramped, and the jacuzzi tub is mounted on top of the equipment. (They didn't have the width to install it the normal way). This creates a dangerously high step up into the tub / shower.
The biggest problem, though, is the noise. This hotel is surrounded by privately owned three story townhouses. For some reason, it's common for owners to either leave the doors to the balcony open, or worse, to lock their dogs out on the balcony all night. The dogs barked long and late into each night. We never got more than 3 or 4 hours' sleep, and one night there were at least three or four dogs barking at each other the entire night. Even ear plugs weren't enough to override the noise.

First of all the receptionist, Eddy, was very helpful and hospitable. He took the bags from the taxi, welcomed us in, and my wife had a very small splinter in her finger from our hike in Machu Picchu, Eddy tried to remove it, and when he couldn’t, he called a doctor for us who helped remove it. He really showed that he cared.. and it means a lot to us. The hotel is nice, location is not very central, but the view and balcony from the room was very nice. Our sunrise photos were impeccable! The breakfast was alright, overall very good value for money. Lastly, we had a slight misunderstanding regarding the check out time, but the next day Eddy immediately apologized, and I think it was an honest mistake, most likely because of the language barrier. Which was fine, the hotel let us stay and use our laptops, as we had some work to do.

Clean and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast with view of the whole city. Lovely staff, especially the young woman serving the breakfast.
You have to walk a bit from the central square.

Beautiful hotel, clean and nice room, delicious breakfast. I loved the restaurant at 6 floor with a nice view of the city. I was able to check out and to leave my bags until was time for my flight.
I have no complain.
