Escape from it all and spend a relaxing vacation at West Fork Cottage (3 bedrooms, 2bath) nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Rest and relax at this cozy cottage with comfortable accommodations for 6 guests. Spend your days hiking, fishing, mountain biking, kayaking and exploring the Land of Waterfalls. Come back from your adventurous day, enjoy a meal on the grill, relax around the fire pit and soak in the peaceful surroundings and cool mountain air. Guests have full access to the property including amenities such as WiFi, Satellite TV, screened porch, deck, gas grill and fire pit. West Fork Cottage is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a beautiful view of Pisgah-Owen Mountain. The West Fork of the French Broad river is across the way from the cottage. Just down the road, enjoy Panther Town Valley (sometimes referred to as the Yosemitie of the East), with 30 miles of trails where you can hike, fish and bike! We are about 20 miles from Brevard and Cashiers, NC (great breweries, restaurants and local shopping) and 40 miles from the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). You can enjoy all the Blue Ridge Parkway, Gorges State Park, and the Pisgah National Forest have to offer in the Land of Waterfalls . Enjoy hiking, fishing, biking, kayaking at nearby lake (Tannassee Creek 4 miles or Wolf Creek Lake 6.7 miles) or go canoeing on the French Broad River. We are also 45 minutes from Dupont State Forest where you can do some epic mountain biking.

Met friends for Thanksgiving and the place was perfect. Nicely decorated, lots of towels, comfortable beds, large fire pit. Was a wonderful stay!

We loved this property. It was cozy, clean, and well furnished with everything we needed for our weekend in the mountains. The gathering spaces, inside and out, were perfect for catching up with friends and family. The location was great: close to Lake Toxoway and miles of accessible hiking trails. This is a great home for those looking to unwind and disconnect (but still have reliable internet!). Thank you!

We we’re dropping our daughter off at a friends house that’s having a baby and we stayed for a couple of days. The house is Beautiful and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was beautifully decorated and cozy. They went above and beyond with little touches to make the stay enjoyable...down to marshmellows for cocoa and to make smores at the firepit. The only thing was the 2nd bathroom was downstairs and only accessible by going outside to get to but it wasn't an issue for us. If we ever decide to go out that way again, we would definitely see if it is available!

We were in the area to attend a wedding, I needed somewhere for the grandparents to stay. It was close enough to be incredibly convenient, and far enough away so that the late night celebrations didn’t keep the grandparents up.

A beautiful cabin tucked away in the mountains with no one around for miles (or at least it felt that way), this was the perfect home base for our adventures. Coffee on the porch or deck in the morning, s’mores around the fire pit at night, it was wonderful.
My only suggestion would be to add a toaster to the kitchen and a few more towels to the linen supply but other than that no complaints just fantastic memories of our time there. Would definitely stay again!

Very Clean!
We very much enjoyed our time here! Such a quiet place with spectacular views of the stars at night. Mike & Kaci were easy to work with and very responsive to questions.

Definitely recommend this place. The fire pit is amazing and plenty of wood was provided. The beds are very comfy and the open kitchen and wood accents are very cool.

We loved this cabin! The decor inside was absolutely beautiful and I cannot tell you how immaculate this place is kept! The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of towels and plenty of all other neccessities. I will definitely stay in this cabin every time I am in the area. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I can't wait to stay here again!!

This is a clean and quiet property 30 minutes away from Cashiers and Brevard. We explored Gorges State Park, which is close by. Highly recommend a trip to Rainbow Falls if you stay here!

My husband and I loved staying in this beautiful home! The wood work is a great touch to the cozy home. The homeowners were great and very prompt at responding to any questions about the property. It was so quiet and very secluded.

The cabin was as advertised, though it took a while to find the second bathroom which is downstairs via outside access. We had all the basics we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and baths. It’s a beautifully redone place with quaint accents visible in the photos. They had it nicely decorated for the holidays too, which was a nice bonus since this is our annual outing to get a Christmas tree. We did day trips to Whitewater Falls, Gorges State Park and the top of Toxaway falls, all within 30 minutes of the place. Communications from the owners was sufficient and the Wi-Fi worked well (mapped at 10mbps). Note: AT&T mobile service does not work here or on the road between here and Lake Toxaway, so download the region on google maps before coming up and mapping will still work in the area, or bring printed maps or directions.
