City break to Windsor and Stonehenge.

Lovely apartment with a view of the tower of Windsor Castle. Full kitchen, very helpful and supportive personnel. I would recommend this place for everyone who comes to sightsee historical places in this area.

It may be a bit difficult to find a parking space, but it is doable. The landlady provided us with the parking permit for Zone E and that was very useful.

A lovely flat, very convenient for all that Windsor has to offer.

Lovely space with a living/eating area downstairs and 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Great location, easy to to walk into Windsor for shopping & restaurants or to walk into the Great Park. Nice and quiet - no traffic noise as windows faced the opposite way to the road.

Car parking in a town centre is always tricky and it meant a 10 minute walk to the car and navigating the multiple parking restrictions. Be VERY careful on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings as the roads need to be clear for Changing of the Guard.

The location was brilliant. You were in the center for everything.

Need new pillows, I had to go and buy 2 due to only having one and the ones we had were very poor quality.

Loved the location and the apartment.

Was quite hot, and no fans. Did not expect the air traffic to be so high also.

Disappointing

Really great central location, perfect for everything. The flat was spacious, secure with comfortable beds.

1. Unfortunately due to the age of the building there is not any double glazing (and one window in a bedroom wouldn't close properly) so the sound of the aeroplanes flying directly overhead every 30 seconds is incredibly loud. They stop for a few hours overnight but woke all of us up when they started again at 5am. Not the fault of the owners really but something for families to be aware of as it resulted in 3 nights of very broken sleep. 2. There were very very loud creaky floorboards and doors which caused the kids to wake up when trying to get out of the room after putting them to bed. Again something for families to be aware of. 3. The parking is a 5 min walk away. It is advertised as 'an allocated spot' but is actually a permit for a residents zone 5 minutes away. This wasn't necessarily a problem as was a short walk and still a benefit to have free parking but perhaps it should be made clearer as it could affect those with mobility issues etc. 4. Lacked in a few basics like soap, extra toilet roll (one roll doesn't go far with a family) and washing up liquid

Very good

Very clean apartment. Right in the centre of Windsor. Very comfortable. Communication regarding booking very good.

Only criticism was lack of essential items, kitchen roll/wipes, soap tinfoil etc. There was dishwasher tablets and washing powder. Only 1 toilet roll for 4 people for 2 nights.

An apartment in a great location with all you need for a short stay in Windsor - helpful host.

I liked the help and support from the host. Very responsive and very helpful. The location was amazing and as a hub for a few nights when visiting friends it was perfect as we weren't in the apartment much.

The bed wasn't hugely comfortable as you rolled into the middle a little which was only a minor thing. I was sharing with my daughter for a few nights - with a partner it's not a problem at all.

Beautiful apartment and on the doorstep of Windsor Castle.

We had such a lovely stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fully equipped, even a dishwasher. We couldn’t have been closer to Windsor Castle it is literally on your doorstep. The perfect place to stay.

I couldn’t find any fault.

Great Guardsmans

Excellent location and great apartment. Was only 2 of us so we did not use it to it's full potential but a bigger group would not have any need to complain about the space or facilities. Well equipped kitchen and very clean apartment.

Not really a 'didn't like' but some more toiletries would have been handy.

great place to use as a base for visiting Windsor and surroundings. We would use it again.

Cleanliness. Equipment. warmth, once we had found out how to work the heating. Hairdryer.

No instructions for how to use the central heating. No instructions for how to use the TV and boxes.

The location is perfect, just next the Windsor castle , few mile from legoland and lots more Clean and dog friendly . I will use it again.

The finshing of the small details could be better towels not there but they brought some small towels when I asked. It says castle view and you can see the guards change from the flat not really true as the view from the windows are ugly back building and the castle hotel. But the minute you step out the castle is just few feet away.

Overall a nice location and nice apartment however I think the apartment needs so essential updates

Location was perfect

Bed was really uncomfortable The windows are very old to the point the wood has rotted in the living room and you can see through the window pane

Excellent amount of space in a great location.

The apartment had an exceptional amount of space. It was very comfortable and right on the High St in walking distance of everything. It is also in walking distance of the rail station so is simple once you get to Windsor.

OK, there are a few things that were a slight negative. 1) We were given parking permits for the car we rented but you couldn't park within half a mile of the apartment. 2) Plane noise is an issue as you are on the approach to London Heathrow. 3) There are a lot of stairs to climb as apartment #5 is on the top floor.

Property could have been better, the location was just right though

Host was easy to contact prior to stay and for check-in. Did not try to make contact with host during our stay. Quiet from traffic noise. Ideal location to explore Windsor and easy access to go further afield.

The bed was not put together properly and the base moved about when you moved. To resolve we put the matress on the floor. Not ideal but saved feeling sea sick. The shower was weak and the temperature could not be reduced from very hot. The property is now looking tired and would benefit from some tlc.

Windsor Trip

Location was fabulous right in the centre close to all you need for holiday

The accommodation needs a bit of maintenance, the bathroom door did not close properly and was difficult to lock, the toilet seat doesn’t fit the toilet properly, the floorboards in and around the bedroom doors were very noisy and moved under foot. The kitchen unit doors need adjusted as none of them work properly along with loose handles. When you take into consideration that during the pandemic they would have plenty of opportunities to rectify these issues it seems to me that there is a lack of consideration for the customer.

Awful smell when you went in property, like a stale sweaty smell. Windows very difficult to open
