With a full kitchen, dining area, living room, private patio, pool, hot tub, tennis, exercise room, volleyball, BBQ grills, WiFi included, 3-mile bike path along ocean, Free parking, etc. IT'S A NO-BRAINER!! BOOK NOW!! This amazing 650 square foot, ground floor condo in Building H is on what many consider to be "the finest family beach on Kauai". Just steps from the pool and beach, this condominium provides the best location for island fun. No stairs to climb, just exit the lanai to the beach or stroll through the beautifully manicured gardens to the pool, tennis courts, croquet court, barbecue/picnic areas, fitness facility, and shuffle board. Take a short walk through historic Kapa'a town for great island shopping, food, and recreation. This condo comfortably sleeps four people. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, plenty of storage, plus a flat screen TV. The living room has a queen-size Murphy Bed plus a flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pans, dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave with a comfortable dining area. The condo was recently upgraded with beautiful new cabinets and counter tops. For reservations longer than 14 days, we suggest a mid-stay clean -- additional $185 cleaning fee -- in which our housekeeper will refresh bed linens & bath towels, clean the unit, and replenish provided toiletries/supplies. + Parking is free and there are no resort fees. + A one-time cleaning fee of $185 to ensure the condo is sparkling clean for your arrival. For reservations longer than 14 days, we suggest a mid-stay clean -- additional $185 cleaning fee -- in which our housekeeper will refresh bed linens & bath towels, clean the unit, and replenish provided toiletries/supplies. + Our housekeeper provides a starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels. We DO NOT provide any personal hygiene items like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc... + If you happen to need any items re-stocked/refreshed during your stay, we would suggest that you purchase or clean them on your own. We can have our housekeeper refresh the linens, towels, and supplies but they charge us a $45 fee to do so which would be passed on. This unit was perfect for our stay! It was super clean, comfortable, well stocked with essentials, and it had all of the extras needed for fun at the beach! The property was beautifully kept it even had a koi pond and hammocks strategically placed. We woke up early just to experience a phenomenal sunrise. The location of the unit is great, we walked to town for fresh fruit at the farmer’s market, delicious burgers at Bubbu’s, and a wonderful breakfast at Java Kai, This was a fantastic recommendation from our host Jared. Check in was a breeze, staff was friendly

The location was perfect and it was a lovely condo. My only comment is I think the owner was a little stingy with amenities; i.e., only two beach towels were provided, no salt and pepper, no sugar, only one laundry pod. Other things that were there were very low and we had to purchase new, i.e., coffee.

5 Star! Great communication from the owner before, during & after our stay. The condo is super clean, well-appointed and functional. Great amount of beach gear too! Short distance to the parking lot, so it's easy in, easy out. The grounds of the resort are maintained very well. We'll totally be staying here again!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. Both the booking and check-in were easy. Jared was very responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. The condo and Pono Kai property are beautifully maintained and quiet. We loved walking on the trail along the beach, the convenient bbq grills, and the central location on the island. The condo had everything you needed for a beach trip: chairs, boogie boards, towels, and a cooler! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the near future!

We stayed three nights and found the property to exceed our expectations. The communication we received from Jared was excellent. The property was very clean and very well maintained and the location perfect for the experience we wanted (i.e., low key, less busy resort environment, good central location on the island). When we come back to Kauai we will absolutely be looking for this property first. Thank you to the Crouch’s!

Everything about this rental was easy and convenient. The host was very helpful by providing information leading up to our rental and checked in with us once we were settled. The unit is clean and well outfitted for your Island holiday needs. They have what you need to eat in, and even better, they have what you need to go on your day trips. Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrellas, pool noodles, beach mats, and a cooler! Super helpful on those long hot fun filled days at the beach. The complex is centrally located and offers equal distance to great beaches in all directions. The unit is a ground floor with easy access to parking and the courtyard (pool, hot tub, hammocks and more). Air conditioned in the living space and ceiling fans in the bedroom and eating area. Full TV and Streaming service with fast internet for those down times or to catch up on news or emails. Host wasn't overbearing and we felt at ease. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Pono Kai property.
It is in a great location near the beach and the walking/bike trail in front is super. We walked the 4 mile trail everyday. It has great ocean views and being build on the old rail bed it is nice and flat.
The unit had lots of beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and other toys.
We found the location central to all the things we wanted to do. The parking was easy and close to the unit.

It is just a couple of minutes to walk from the unit to the ocean and oceanside pathway.
Centrally located between the North and South sides of the island make it easy to get to both.
The Murphy bed has a very comfortable mattress, far better than I expected which was very important for a two week stay.

First time going to Kauai and first time using Vrbo. Making the arrangements was easy and the property manager kept in touch throughout our trip. The room was clean and stocked with unexpected extras such as plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans, spices for cooking, packages of coffee, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, books, a baby crib and pool equipment such as boogie boards and floaties. The grounds were well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. The property is in a good location near the water with restaurants and stores within walking distance. Overall, we had a nice time and would visit again.

We enjoyed the access to shopping, restaurants, beach, bike path. The resort itself had tons of activities and a nice pool. The ground level entry was super convenient.

Great Location!
We stayed recently for 10 days and enjoyed every minute!
Well equipped (we liked the beach chairs and left them in the car so we could spontaneously stop at different beaches). Nice kitchen with everything you would need. Didn't use the air conditioner as the ceiling fans were adequate. Ground floor was accessible to pool area and bbq!
Jared responded immediately to any questions we had!
We would stay there again!

First time in Kauai
Loved our stay. The location of unit is on the first floor so can easily get around the property. The resort is in the perfect location to travel around the island. So much to do! Owner responded quickly to all of our messages. There is no A/C in the bedroom so we used a fan to push the air back from the living room. It worked okay. Overall -- great place.

Beautiful Spot
This property was EXCELLENT! Central to the island, great proximity to the beach, the room was very comfortable and well prepared. Jared was a timely and clear communicator. My girlfriend and I both felt like the pictures did not adequately show how clean and nice this property is. We look forward to returning!

Great property. Units were clean and grounds well kept. Nice pool area. Only a couple minutes from our unit to the beach walkway, which got us pretty much everywhere. Vacation in beautiful Kauai
Great location beside beach in Kapaa. One bedroom with Murphy bed in living room. Comfortable beds. Full kitchen. Beach chairs and beach towels provided. Coin operated Laundry facilities. Patio table, barbecue nearby. Pool and hot tub.
When arrived room hadn’t been cleaned but host was quick to arrange cleaning while we went grocery shopping. Few maintenance issues but host said he would take care of right away.

Nice stay with garden patio
Great place as advertised in nice condo complex. The Murphy bed was much better to sleep on for the little kids, because even a 5 year old knows sofa beds are terrible. The host was very gracious and checked in with us if anything was needed. Kids ran around outside of patio to hammock and chased chickens and fed ducks. Friendly staff at the Pono Kai and nice pool and amenities made it enjoyable

Centrally located and easy to get to office and other condos in the resort where other family members were located. Rugs need a shampooing but loved the accessibility to shops and restaurants.

I give this location 5 stars even though checking-in was a big hassle. I don’t fault Jared, who was very responsive, but the management of Pono Kai.

Great location near the bike path & cute shops & cafes. The condo was very clean, spacious, & well-equipped. Loved the proximity to the pool; swam every morning, often had the pool to myself. Pono Kai very clean,will keep up ground on the beach. Unit U106 was in excellent codition,clean,kitchen filled with all u need, hall closet with beach supplies (even towels), cable TV, and a very will liked hide a bed in the living room that was very comfortable. Keep trying for 2yrs to go and use this property (because of Covid unable) but the owner ALWAYS worked with me and would help with changing dates. Then once there sent a text seeing if l needed anything to contact him or his property management team. VERY HAPPY with the owners kindness, and help. Thx Jared

Kauai is one of a kind. Visited 4 lslands but Kauai stands out as the most pleasant.

Nice location with an easy walk to restaurants and shops in lovely Old Town Kapa'a. The condo is stocked with boogie boards, towels and all you need for a lovely casual stay on Kauai. The staff at Pono Kai were really nice and the beach in front was beautiful.

Great property and location. Property amenities as described. The lanai looked on to the lush, tropical courtyard complete with chickens and colorful birds. The beach was literally a walk across the garden.
There were two of us staying but the Murphy bed was not made up and linens not available until the next day and I had to make the bed up myself after a long day: Jared responded ASAP and his communication throughout was excellent. Unfortunately the property Manager did not respond until later the next day . A few simple housekeeping/maintenance issues that the property Manager (not Jared) should have been aware of when housekeeping did their walk through. Jared was genuinely apologetic when I pointed them out.
I would definitely recommend Jared’s unit. It had all the amenities you could want as well as a few unexpected extras but remember it is a private rental and according to the front desk does not necessarily come with the same services as property direct guests however that was not a problem for us.
