Nestled in Dobrota, this lovely villa for £298 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This unique stone house is situated on the waterfront in Dobrota, only 5 meters away from the sea. On the ground floor of the house there is an open concept kitchen, living room and dining room. To the right side of the entrance is the living room with 2 spacious sofas, dining room table, flat tv screen, cable tv and wi-fi connection. Right opposite the dining room space there is a fireplace with small library and sitting places. Next to the fireplace there is a kitchen (fully equipped) with a bar and 2 bar chairs. Kitchen has a dishwasher, washmachine, fridge, oven,cooker, microwave, coffee machine, water-heater, dishes and cuttlery for 6 persons.To the left side of the entrance there is a dining room space with table for 6. On the ground floor of the house there is also a bathroom with shower. Space is air-conditioned. Wooden stairs are leading to the first floor where there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Master bedroom with double, king size bed , LCD cable tv and wardrobe has 3 windows and is facing the sea. It offers amazing views to the sea and the bay. Second bedroom which is also facing the sea is smaller and has two single beds, LCD cable tv and wardrobe. Third bedroom is facing the garden but has also side view to the sea and the green area around. It has a double queen size bed LCD cable tv and wardrobe. In front of the house there is a small courtyard covered in grape vine with stone table where it is possible to sit and relax in the shade during the hot summer months. Next to that small courtyard there is a bigger courtyard with a bigger table and six chairs from where one can enjoy stunning view to the sea and the mountains or make barbecue with friends. Next to it is a garden and a parking for one car. It is possible to provide more parking spaces in the neighbouring garden, as per request. All of these areas are used exclusively by the guests of the house. Mediterranean flowers and trees in the garden and the courtyard are allowing one to enjoy unique pleasure of living surrounded with old stone architecture, mediterranean style and scent of the sea (being only 5 meters away). In front of the house is a pier where it is possible to put sun-bathing chairs and enjoy swimming and sunbathing in the hot summer months. Old town of Kotor is only 2 km away ( in a walking distance). Overthere one can visit restaurants/bars museums, souvenir shops, boutiques, night club or go to theatre, movie etc. There are numerous shops/restaurants and bars along the promenade in Dobrota, nearest being 100 meters away. Linen and towels are provided as well as beach towels for 6 persons. Sun-bathing chairs are also provided (for 6 persons). Once a week changeover of linen and cleaning is provided. Usually it is after one week of stay ( time can be agreed). All guests who are staying one week or more receive complimentary bottle of vine upon arrival, as well as a fruit basket and selection of coffee/tea.

We had a wonderful stay in Kotor. The home was across the street from the water and had a platform on the water for those who wanted to swim. Beautiful views from the front of the house with lots of boats, sailboats, and cruise ships going by. The outdoor space was large and very comfortable. The three bedrooms were located upstairs and there is a very comfortable living area and a well-stocked kitchen on the first floor. The bathroom downstairs has a shower while the upstairs bathroom has a tub. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 5 loved the house and the location so much that we plan to return in the future. Lucija is an incredible host: communicating quickly both before and during the holiday, buying an extra fan for us within a couple of hours of asking, organising a speed boat tour for us, cleaning the property and changing the linen and towels after a week's stay and even supplying us with a bow of figs from her garden. The house was incredibly clean, cosy and comfortable. It was kept cool with two air conditioning units and had all the amenities needed. We enjoyed eating breakfast and lunch on the patio, looking out at the view of Kotor Bay. The location was perfect for us: it's close enough to walk into the old town of Kotor, sunbathe on the little jetty just outside the back door of the house, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance (we loved Tiha Noc best), peaceful enough to relax and soak up the Montenegrin sunshine and spectacular scenery. There is plenty to see in the local area too, without having to spend hours in the car. We would recommend Lovcen National Park, Port Montenegro (Tivat), Old town Budva and Solila nature reserve, in addition to the old town of Kotor and St John's Fort. We highly recommend Montenegro, the area of Kotor and staying in Casa Maris.

Ett oerhört charmigt hus med ett fantastiskt läge, 5 meter ifrån havet med 'egen' badplats.

Ett oerhört charmigt hus med ett fantastiskt läge, 5 meter ifrån havet med 'egen' badplats.

Nyrenoverat gammalt stenhus, bra standard med AC på varje plan, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin. Öppen planlösning på bottenplan med kök, matgrupp och sittgrupp samt dusch/WC, det senare något trångt. Badrum och tre bra sovrum på övre plan med fin utsikt, hårda sängar enligt någon i vårt sällskap. Trevlig utemiljö på egen innergård, med två uteplatser, en i sol och en i halvskugga under vinrankor i en pergola. Läget i Dobrota väldigt bra, tillräckligt med affärer och restauranger i närområdet, 20 minuters promenad till den historiska staden Kotor och alla dess mysiga gränder och restauranger. Värdfamiljen 5-stjärnig med plus, uppmärksamma och hjälpsamma i alla avseenden. Totalt sett var vi jättenöjda med vår vecka i Stenhuset i Dobrota.
