***WINTER SPECIAL 3 NIGHTS FOR THE PRICE OF 2*** Diamond Harbour Hideaway has two self contained flats. The top and ground floor flats can be rented separately or you can rent the whole property. The downstairs flat has internal access from the top flat or uses external stairs. It has 3 double bedrooms and the decks off the dining and living areas. The upstairs flat has 2 double bedrooms and bunk beds. It has views from the balcony and living areas over Purau Bay and Ripapa Island and out to the Lyttelton heads. Diamond Harbour Hideaway is conveniently located, being just a short walk to the local restaurant/bar and ferry. Diamond Harbour is only 40 minutes from Christchurch either by car or bus-and-ferry. Special conditions: Minimum rental applies - 7 days over Christmas New Year. Linen supplied for all beds. Special rates for 3 night stays during winter. ($1000 for property or $600 for one flat) Rates are GST inclusive The property is not fenced for children. Please enquire if you are wanting to rent one flat only for up to 6 people Extras: Cleaning ($100.00 per stay per flat) Linen (included)

Wonderful large property in quiet surroundings, with incredible views. Walking distance to village pub/diner. Access to the headland walkway and some great climbing a 2 minute walk from the house. We all loved it.

Great base for exploring Diamond Harbour, Banks Peninsula, Lyttelton and Quail Island. We did heaps of walks and enjoyed being able to watch family members water ski in Pūrau Bay from the balcony. The house is comfortable and very well set up. Plenty of room for extended family whose ages stretched from nine to 84. We were able to have a quiet zone downstairs for those wanting to read and relax and there was space for us all to be together in the one area as well when wanted.

Gorgeous property and good size house for our group of friends. It is a bit of a drive from Christchurch but there are nice hikes around the area!

Beautiful house and the view is amazing. Well equiped house and perfect location. Would recommend to everyone.
Had a bit of an issue with wifi so the young people of our group were a bit bent out of shape.

Great home with stunning views, so comfortable with lovely furnishings and extra creative decoration to feel more homely. Only minor gripe was the kitchen felt and looked like it required a deeper clean. All in all though, I would recommend for a large group.

Property was beautiful, well stocked with everything you needed loved it. Only bad thing kitchen cupboard not clean invaded with ants had no power or spray, spent first hour cleaning out kitchen cupboard and washing all kitchen equipment thank God for dishwasher

The house has all the ingredients for a great weekend away! It is a good size for a large group. The upstairs and downstairs add a lot of flexibility in where to hang out and eat drink etc.

The whole experience was great! Cathy was super approachable and the commuication was easy. The property was stunning! Really spacious and equipped for all weather conditions, loved the game cupboard that had an extensive selection!

Great property for our family for the long weekend had a fun time relaxing and enjoying the amazing view. We booked both levels and it suited us perfectly. Cathy was very helpful and prompt with her reply’s 👍😁

Wonderful family getaway
Such a beautiful spot with gorgeous views. This was such a lovely home to spend a long weekend In. Great to have so many bedrooms and double beds for all the couples. Ideal for a group of mostly adults (and babies). Great communication with the owner, only feedback would be that we had to do some cleaning in the kitchen on arrival before using and some of the bedrooms were musty smelling (perhaps after a few days of rain) and not as clean as expected. Overall a lovely stay though and we would book again!

Great property, well equipped and with spectacular views. Could have sat on the deck all day but had to check out some of the nearby beaches which were good also. Great communication from the host, highly recommended.

Summer Holiday
We hired both apartments for our large family group. The beds are all very comfortable. Plus we had a great time exploring the walkways and local beaches and on cooler days used one of the lovely lounge areas to play board games. The house had all we needed to make this holiday a success. Thanks.

Diamond in Diamond Harbour
We had an amazing week at the bach.
The view is incredible, we loved sitting with a coffee and looking out over the bay.
This bach has everything you need. We rented both apartments for our family celebration and there were plenty of good quality glasses, plates etc for nine people.
It also has a pod type coffee maker and a coffee plunger for coffee lovers like us.
All bed linen, towels, furniture and fittings are of a very high quality.
Access to the bach is down a few steps and the driveway is steepish. But, Diamond Harbour is on a hill and to get the view you need to be up high.
The access was absolutely no problem for us and our party ranged in age from teens to old age pensioners.
We have stayed at many airbnb’s and Bach’s and this place is definitely in our top five places to stay.
We would love to come back and stay again.

An idyllic location overlooking the bay, not far from Diamond Harbours amenities. Freshly spruced up house with a nice vibe and generous space. Perfect for group getaways.

I loved watching the boats coming up and down the Harbour and early morning sun on every day .
We loved your house and would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful location to everyone. House was clean and tidy and presentation excellent.

Spacious family home with glorious views
Ideal for a large family group as there are 2 living areas and two bathrooms. A nice walk down to the habour where there are bars and a cafe. Beds were really comfortable and towels and sheets etc were excellent quality.
