Hello&welcome to Villa Adriana! Immersed amongst the trees and surrounding garden, perched on a slope overlooking Highland Lake, Villa Adriana is considered to have one of the best views of the entire lake. You can enjoy the spectacular view from the comfort of a cozy living room with large windows overlooking the lake, and from the adjacent roomy outdoor deck equipped with table, chairs, umbrella, and a BBQ grill for dining al fresco. One of the first things you ll notice, besides the spectacular view, is the silence that surrounds the whole property... The house has two levels: On the upper floor is a large living/dining area with high cathedral ceilings and fully functioning fire place from which you can access the deck; a large dining table that seats up to 10 adults; fully equipped kitchen; three queen bedrooms; fully renovated bathroom with standard size tub. On the lower floor is the the master suite with a fireplace, queen bed and queen-sized sofa bed, and outdoor access through french doors overlooking the lake; a newly renovated bathroom with full-size stand-up shower and heated floors; laundry room equipped with washer&dryer. During the summer season you will have full access to all the kayaks, boats, and the SUP situated on the private dock with direct lake-front access. It s the perfect spot for sun bathing on one of the lounge chairs, simply relaxing in the hammock,or going for a swim. Only electric motor boat use is permitted on the lake to avoid excess noise and contaminating the waters. Villa Adrian a ideal location offers tons of things to do all year round! During the winter, you can enjoy the ski slopes at the famous nearby resort Mountain Creek which in summertime becomes a sprawling amusement park! You can fish, swim, hike, or simply just relax and take in the view on the memory foam sofa. Every bedroom also has a brand new memory foam mattress to ensure your utmost comfort. The house is equipped with wifi&smart tv for streaming. Bed linens and towels are available for use. We hope you enjoy your stay : )

This lake houae has a beautiful view amd plenty of space. One of the best stocked kitchens I have found in a rental. Plenty of pots with lids, dishes, glasses, a good stove and a very clean gas grill with tools. The beds were OK, but not enough linnens. There were plenty of towels, but no extra blankets or pillows. We had a guest on the pull out couch that slept on a throw pillow with no blanket.

Great clean house with excellent amenities. Perfect sunset on the lake with access to kayaks and sup. Nice deck and living room with very comfortable beds.

Property manager replied promptly every time I reached out. I prefer to get an access code before the day of the booking as it makes me nervous, but it was provided when asked that morning. Not immaculately clean, but definitely not bad. Grill was clean and backup tank (which we needed) was provided. Beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed getting out and kayaking twice. Would recommend!

Trip turned out to be more or less a family reunion. Cabin was perfect , well taken care of, and the lake is beautiful. Other than groceries, nothing else was needed. We would rent again.

We stayed in the house over the Thanksgiving holiday. The setting is peaceful and the beds are comfortable. The home has adequate but uneven heating, it doesn't feel like a truly winterized home. I'd come back in the summer to enjoy the lake and worry less about constantly adjusting the thermostat.
Kitchen is on par with other rental houses -- everything functioned OK. There's a mix of old pots and pans and utensils with some items missing like measuring cups. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, come prepared.
There were some nice touches for families with young kids like a playmat, booster seat, pack n play and high chair.
The house could use some minor updates to make it more accommodating -- like luggage racks in the bedrooms. The interior doors that only stay shut with bolts made things challenging with kids - I recommend the host update the doors for adequate privacy and safety.

I spent the weekend in this beautiful home with some girlfriends- it was the perfect getaway. Stunning views, access to the lake for kayaking or just hanging out and hiking trails nearby. The home was clean and the kitchen had all the essentials.

Property was clean and offered all of the basic amenities for an enjoyable stay. Location was nice with nearby playgrounds and small beaches - fun short trips for kids. Homeowner was very responsive with any questions/concerns. Boating equipment could use a little love, but life vests were plentiful and clean.

Nice house. Only 90 min from NYC. Views were great. Communication was easy. Had a nice time.

House rules or leave it the way you find it and the people in there before us didn’t seem to be very respectful of that.
The things to be aware of for future renters. I’m hoping management will address these.
The grill was rusted and disgusting and tank almost empty (we filled it for 2 cooks. The next 7 or 8 Incoming renters will be happy they won’t have to deal with it) don’t cook burgers or chicken on it. You will have a grease fire from the bottom that is difficult to put out. Thought the side of the house was going to catch fire. Scary.
Dryer doesn’t work to dry towels clothing after being on the lake.
Microwave doesn’t work.
Row boat for fishing had a leak. My sons went out and were nervous it could sink so they came back.
1 of the 3 kayaks were missing plugs. When my son went out on it it was gushing water on him and in it. Paddle boat was not usable.
Had to help their maintenance man pull the submerged paddle boat out of the water. No easy task.
Other than that it was relaxing. The fishing and view was Amazing. If not for the above items which I believe they can fix for future renters I would have given it an “A” rating.

July 4th Weekend
Perfect lakeside weekend! Michele is wonderful and helpful and the property is fabulous. It was perfect for 7 of us - and we had a very chilled July 4th! Thank you.

Great location if you’re skiing at Mountain Creek, it’s only 12 minutes down the road! The house is wonderful and the view is incredible. Everything you need is provided and Michele was wonderful with reaching out to make sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend for a winter weekend getaway with the family.

Thanksgiving Family Reunion
We loved this house. We had a Thanksgiving family reunion with grown up kids from the UK, NJ and Washington DC. Everyone really loved the house and setting. It was fantastic. We just stayed put and cooked, ate, played board games and enjoyed the views! Was perfect for what we were looking for. The drive back to upstate NY in the snow yesterday was awful, however! And Michele was a great owner to work with! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous setting
Home is in a beautiful setting on a quiet lake. Michele is responsive and accommodating. Home could benefit from some updates and AC, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The home has 4 rooms so plenty of space.
+ the owners are really nice and helpful. They even send us videos so we could understand the appliances.
+ the kitchen is very equipped with everything you need.
- they only provide 1 towel for guess and charge $5 for any extras. I wish they could only give you the ones they don’t mind you using let’s say 14 if there’s 10 guess. That way we don’t worry about that.
- they had more rules than any other home we had ever stay in. Which takes away from the relaxation. But I kinda understand because people can be very dirty.
- we had to clean the floors when we got there. We saw a lot of white hair. Maybe from a pet. And I had a baby in the floor.
I do see myself going back. We truly enjoy our stay. Besides the things I put as negatives. And I would recommend this to others.
