Located in Haarlem, this lovely house for £107 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This nice, comfortable and bright house is located at the south of Haarlem. Walking distance (5 min) of big shopping center, with many shops and two supermarkets. The supermarket openingtime every day (also sunday) 08:00 till 22:00 hour Free parking at the house. Good and fast public transport, every 6 minutes a bus is leaving from the bus stop. Quick connection to Amsterdam central station and Haarlem centre. Also close to Schiphol Airport, the beach of Zandvoort, the Linnaeushof (Europe s largest family playground) and Keukenhof (big flower show at spring). The house is 105m2 and has a bright living room and a fully equipped open kitchen. With all the utensils that you need to prepare a nice and fresh meal. Free Wifi internet. Big and comfortable bedrooms with a nice bathroom. We have a garden with furniture if you want to sit or eat outside. Portable air-condition unit available for one bedroom. The place is suitable from 2 for up to 6 people The house has 3 floors: First floor: Entrance, toilet, living room sofa, tv, dvd, access and dinette. Big open kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, Senseo coffee machine, water cooker and dishwasher. Entrance to the garden with seating places and you can use the barbeque if you want to. Second floor: Master bedroom with double Auping bed and second tv, second bedroom with double bed, (luggage) room with single bed and big closet where you can store and iron your clothes, bathroom with bath, separate shower, second toilet and sink. Third floor: Study room with single bed, wash machine and dryer, entrance to balcony.

The property is exactly as pictured. Hans was very responsive, he waited and explained thoroughly the place to us. We only stayed for 3 nights. We have plenty of spaces for 4 adults. Bring your own shampoo and extra towels, if needed. We don't have any problem finding parking spaces in front of the house. The area is quite outside of Haarlem, so you'd need a car to go around, although parking spaces in Haarlem are quite limited. Otherwise, it may be costly with public transportation. Overall, we have a good time exploring other cities around Amsterdam.

Hans meet us at the door and showed us the apartment and all the features before heading in his way which was great. Good use of the space and having flexibility in bed layout was great for us. 10 minute drive to the closest rail station and a 20 minute ride into Amsterdam was easy. Even had a friendly cat show up in the rear patio garden space to hang out with some. Thank you Hans!

Not well maintained as broken backsplash and other infrastructure neither repaired or well maintained. Communication with owner good but despite arrival time mutually agreed, not ready by that time. Cleanliness uneven and out of soap which was replenished.

Haarlem is very nice and much less busy than Amsterdam, but it’s still very easy to get in to Amsterdam or Zandvoort Beach with Bus 300 and trains running very frequently. The host was very helpful although we had to wait on the street for 30 minutes past the agreed arrival time while the preparations were completed. Also, while the property itself is fine with plenty of space, in our opinion it needs a deep clean at least once by a professional cleaner just to get it back up to scratch, and we found two dirty towels from the previous occupant. (The cleanliness issues have affected our rating, which would otherwise be 4 stars). It should also be noted that the spiral stairs to the upper two levels are very tight and not at all suitable for people with mobility issues. Overall good, but could be much better with a little effort.

A taste of Dutch living in a charming town. Hans was an exceptional host who went out of his way and we really appreciated his kindness! Kitchen is well equipped, one toilet in ground floor, full toilet with separate shower and large bath above. Rooms are basis but great value.

This was a nice quiet neighborhood and travel to different areas around Amsterdam was easy. The bedrooms were comfortable and the host met us at the property. We were very happy with our choice.

The House is located between Busstations that bring you within a 3-10min walk either to Haarlem Center and Amsterdam or to the sea in Zandvoort aan Zee. Also a shopping mall is just a 5min walk from the house, which was really convenient. Also the equipment of the house (esp. kitchen) left no wishes open. Even a bath tube was there. The only thing that was a bit irritatting for us in the beginning was that there are personal objects and things in the shelves and cupboards here and there. But this really wasn't much of a problem for us. Also notable to say that the two double beds and one single room are located on 1st floor. Another single bed is located in the 2nd floor, where the room looks kind of like an office and there also is a balcony. All in all we thank you Hans very much for our pleasent stay and wish you all the best, Lukas & friends

I came with friends for a weekend of tourism in Amsterdam. We found this house a really short time before our trip (because of a cancellation) and it was really good ! Though not in Amsterdam (approx. 40min to go to the center of Amsterdam), it was really convenient! Clean, well prepared, great landlord, nice neighborhood. Really cool. Go for it!

Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und er war sehr nett! Für unsere 5köpfige Familie, die nur ein paar Tage am Strand verbringen wollte war dieses Ferienhaus völlig in Ordnung. Über eine paar Hygienemängel kann man da hinwegsehen. Allerdings wäre es langfristig für alle noch kommenden Feriengäste sinnvoll, eine paar Möbel vor dem Zusammenbruch (Kühlschranktür , Tisch auf der Terrasse) zu reparieren oder vielleicht auszutauschen. Aber ansonsten haben wir alles gehabt, was wir gebraucht haben und würden bestimmt nochmal wieder kommen.

Our family of 5 stayed here 2 nights while we were exploring Amsterdam and it worked out perfectly for us. Very easy to get to with public transportation. We appreciated Hans' flexibility as we changed our initial arrival time but he was there to meet us and go over helpful information. It was great having grocery stores just a few minutes walk away so we could make our own meals. The only suggestion I have that would have helped us is to supply some containers with lids that could be used for storing leftover food in. There were some small containers/glass dishes but I couldn't find lids for them. Overall, a great stay and we would stay here again.

Das Haus liegt in einem Vorort von Haarlem, Schalkwijk. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Haus reichlich vorhanden. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man fußläufig ein großes Einkaufszentrum und einen Busbahnhof. Von hier aus kommt man bequem und günstig in alle Richtungen. Leider ist das Inventar im Haus arg in die Jahre gekommen, die Schlafzimmer sind spärlich eingerichtet, z.B. gibt es keine Nachttische sondern Stühle, kein Licht an den Betten und nur einen Kleiderschrank für 6 mögliche Gäste. Dieser Schrank ist aber zur Hälfte vom sehr netten Eigentümer mit Sachen belegt. Das große Badezimmer ist top, die steilen Wendeltreppen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ansonsten kann man im gesamten Haus keine großen Ansprüche an Sauberkeit stellen. Wir konnten uns zu zweit trotzdem ein paar schöne Tage machen.

Pour cause d hospitalisation à la dernière minute, je n ai pu me rendre à la location. Malgré des explications avec le propriétaire, aucun arrangement possible à l amiable même pour une nouvelle réservation à sa convenance , même à l année prochaine. Argent encaissé alors que étions absents, son but était atteint.
