Health and safety is our #1 Priority. This property is thoroughly cleaned by professionals before and after every stay. House is stocked with extra cleaning products, soaps and hand sanitizer. Nothing matters more to us than the health of our guests and our planet. Now about the place. We're on a half-acre on Asilomar, nestled between the forest and the ocean. The house has 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed; one with two full-sized beds) and a sofa bed in the living room. French doors open to three patios. The 2 bathrooms feature hand-carved Jerusalem stone, built by a local award-winning craftsman. The living room has a fireplace, high def Smart TV, and a view of the back grounds and sand dunes beyond. Dining room and fully-stocked kitchen. TVs in both bedrooms. Huge movie collection, bbq, and 2 bikes for your use. Say hi to the deer as you walk to the beach...abundant with tide pools, seals and otters. Stroll, run or bike along the nature trail. Have a BBQ as you watch the famous Asilomar sunset. Championship golf, whale-watching, hiking, wine tasting, shopping, dining, surfing, first class spas, breathtaking nature...its all here waiting for you. Come make yourself at home!

Our family really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. It has a great location in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. The house is perfectly set up with very comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend this lovely home.

The host was very great at communicating from booking until completion of stay. My friends and I were on a road trip up the coast, and the home was perfect for our needs. The Asilomar beach was in walking distance of the home, and was just stunning! In the evenings we could kick back and watch a movie on the television, and during the day the rest of the surrounding areas were easily accessible for exploring.
The beds were comfortable, and everything was immaculately clean. The home was spacious as well, and we never felt cramped. I'm already trying to figure out how we can go back!

Thank you, Tippi and Neal for sharing your home. Our family of 3 had a fantastic week at your home. The home was in a perfect location to explore Monterey. Our family really enjoyed the walks to Asilomar beach, Spanish Bay, Monarch Butterly Sanctuary, downtown PG, and short drive to Carmel. Your communication was excellent and the instructions provider for the home was spot on. Our tween daughter really enjoyed roaming around the yards and we all enjoyed our evening movie night around a warm fireplace. We hope to make it back next year.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a few days at this lovely property. We surprised my wife for her Birthday and the location and property were a hit. Plenty of nature and restaurants within walking/quick drive. We can't wait to return in the near future. The hosts were extremely responsive and made the experience a 10/10

Property was very clean generally well taken cared of. The location is very convenient to the beach and surrounding areas. It's quiet so it was easy to sleep in a bit. The owners were very responsive via the VRBO app (messages). Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We had such a wonderful stay here. Our family of 4 stayed including our small dog. He loved exploring the large yard. Entire property enclosed to allow our pup to explore. The location couldn’t have been better situated to explore. 1/2 mile walk to asilomar beach, and about a mile to restaurants in PG. We opted to drive to eat. We really liked the layout of the home. Nice open living area. The bathrooms were nicely updated. Everything you need in the kitchen if you want to prepare meals or bring takeout back. The weather was perfect and we were able to sit out back and enjoy the evening. We didn’t use them, but there were 4 nice bikes in there garage for your use. Great communication from the property owners, Tippi and Neal. Don’t hesitate to book a stay for your next trip to PG.

Wonderful environment, especially outdoors, lots of private land space around house, maybe a little more outdoor maintenance on outdoor furniture, no real comfortable outdoor seating chairs etc., so pretty you wanted to sit there a long time!

Big Sur race stay
This was the perfect place to stay for the Big Sur race! The house is very comfortable and well equipped and in a perfect location. Tippi and Neal were very accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely stay in this VRBO again when we return to the Monterey Bay Area. Thanks again Tippi and Neal!

Our third stay, as enjoyable as ever
I have stayed at Tippi and Neal’s beautiful house three times now, with different members of my family each time. This has been my go-to place in the Monterey area because of the quiet and peaceful location, short walk to Asilomar beach, dog friendly yard, and the beautiful home. Tippi and Neal are the nicest hosts, too!

This was such an awesome house and location. It was perfect for my family and parents. We had a great time being in the house and really appreciated the enclosed yard for our kids. Extremely responsive to questions. We LOVED it and will be back!!

Clean and Comfortable
The house was very clean with a nice, homey vibe. It's not often that we stay in a rental that has that "welcoming energy" like you're at the home of a relative or an old friend. Good location for our family of 4 to stay while we explored Pacific Grove and Monterey.
Check in and check out were easy, and communication was excellent.

Monterey Peninsula touring
Nice rental. One block from ocean views and many miles of hiking and biking along the coast this is an impressive home away from home. A little dated but clean and spacious. We enjoyed the living room and the outside deck and the black tail deer that seem to wander everywhere around Pacific Grove.

Fantastic stay
Lovely property in a great location with superb hosts who were very helpful and responsive, hope to visit again soon. FOR FOODIES: Very close to our favorite restaurant, Passionfish. DO TRY IT when you enjoy this rental.

Wonderful weekend getaway in Pacific Grove. Only a short walk to Asilomar State beach and Asilomar Conference Center. House was fully equipped with everything we needed - (bikes were a bonus). Tippi was a great host and quick to respond to any questions.

Asilomar house
What a great experience all around. Communication with Tippi was fast and easy. She very generously offered us late checkout, which made our short trip feel just that much longer. The home is clean, spacious, cozy, and a very short walk to the tide pools and boardwalks at Asilomar beach. We had a great night’s sleep on the new queen mattress. We really enjoyed our time at this property and would not hesitate staying again!

Stayed here with spouse and two kids. Had an awesome stay. Location close to asilomar beach and we enjoyed the wildlife all around. Great location and wonderful hosts.
