About this house rental
Iconic Kiwi bach directly across the road from beautiful Ahipara Beach with awesome views of Shipwreck Bay, Peaks surf break and 90 mile Beach. Large covered sheltered deck for chilling out at the end of the day, (extra summer time space for sleeping) watching the sun set with a glass of wine before dinner cooked on the BBQ. Great surfing, fishing, diving, and seafood gathering. Safe sandy swimming beach with warm rockpools for the children to swim and enjoy. Fishing charters, Quad bike hire and Cape Reings Tours available and can be arranged. 3 min drive to Links golf course, superette, takeaways, cafe, liquor store and Adventure Centre/Quad bike hire and horse treks. Plenty of Parking, TV , CD , DVD and BBQ, 10 -15 mins to Kaitaia 20 mins to Airport. Special conditions: Linen is available in an emergency (if you forget your own) at an extra cost of $10.00 per set Smoking allowed outside on deck only. Check out is 11.00am or otherwise arranged. Check in is from 4.00pm onwards. NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

When we arrived the water and power were out. Speedily dealt with by Lis' nephew, friends and the electrician the next day. No dish soap. The spectacular view and location make up for everything. We would gladly return to Sunny Leith.

Absolutely perfect. Right on the beachfront
with a beautiful view of 90 mile beach. Small and cosy bach with everything you need for a great getaway. Perfect spot for a couple or small family. Listening to the ocean while sleeping is just so relaxing. Will definitely be back again.

This is on West coast of NZ at the southern end of 90mile Beach. Very relaxing, swimming, fishing and digging/collecting tuatua.

The convenience of staying at SUNNY LEITH allowed everything we planned to do ….happen. Our stay there was fabulous. The TV was a mystery but didn’t feature as we are not TV watchers…but it might annoy others. Lis provided us a wifi password …excellent. Would we stay there again….bet your boots we will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had such a lovely stay on our long weekend, and were very sad to leave. We spent our days exploring the coastline and our nights gazing out to sea. Hearing the waves at night was just bliss and it just felt like our own little slice of paradise while we were there.
It has such a homely, comfortable feel about it, and the hosts and family were so welcoming and friendly.
We'll definitely be going back.... over and over again!

Excellent communication. Refunded as we were there when lockdown was announced and could only stay only one night. The beach access is straight across from the driveway and the heater kept us cozy.

Quaint bach with everything you need. Location is second to none. You're so close to the ocean that it sounds like the waves are crashing onto the deck. We had a fabulous stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Greatly appreciated the value for money. Thanks so much.

Great little spot as a base to travel all around the far north and sight see, has everything you need and nothing you dont, photos of the deck dont do it justice as its huge with the most amazing views and stunning sunsets. Highlights for us were spitits bay and the waitangi treaty grounds.

Our annual Ahipara trek
We come up to Ahipara every summer and this was the first time we stayed at this bach. While the weather didn't behave, the bach was fantastic. Everything worked in it. Lol. The views were to die for. Hubby caught fish right out in front and our hosts were very nice and friendly. We will definitely be back next year sun or no sun! 😆

What an awesome few days stay we had while attending my son's wedding in the beautiful far north of Ahipara. The accommodation itself was really neat I loved it nice size place and really great value for money. The cheapest place we found and so worth coming back here in the future.

It was so nice sitting out on the swinging sofa listening to the waves and looking out to the ocean. Its right across the road from the rocks which had little pools to soak in. And an easy drive to kaitaia township about 15 mins away.
