Panguitch information: Located in the valley between the Markagunt and Pausaugunt Plateaus, Panguitch Utah is home to some of the most majestic scenery on earth. A Native American Paiute word meaning “Big Fish,” Panquitch is undoubtedly named for the famously plentiful lake in the nearby mountains, hosting some of the largest rainbow trout in the state and ideal for year-round fishing. In springtime, Panquitch hosts an Annual Quilt Walk Festival where local quilters display both hand-crafted and machine embroidered works of art, while local performers re-enact the story of Quilt Walk and food lovers highlight their culinary creativity with quintessential pioneer cuisine. As the gentle warmth of spring fades and the lazy days of summer make their yearly entrance into the town of Panquitch, the city pulses with excitement as pilots launch a sky-full of hot air balloons into the heavens for the annual Panquitch Valley Balloon Rally. As night falls, spectators in the Historic Downtown area encounter the adventurous spirit of the town’s past, mixed in the magic of glowing hot air balloons as they parade up and down Main and Center Streets, like enormous planets waiting to be explored in the starlit sky. Rodeos, concerts, horse racing, sports tournaments, conventions, and equestrian competitions are hosted at the Canyon Country Complex, the city’s new event center. This state of the art, Triple C Arena is located just off scenic highway 89. July 24th is one of the town’s biggest celebrations. As the rest of the state pays tribute to the settling of the pioneers in Utah with an annual parade and fireworks, Panquitch commemorates this historic “homecoming” with reunions (family and class), a community breakfast, pit barbeque dinner, races, games, rodeo, and a city dance. Summer isn’t the only time to enjoy activities in Panguitch. A New Year’s Eve party is held every year at the indoor Triple C Arena. The whole town comes out to celebrate and enjoy food, games and live entertainment. Ice fishermen can ring in the new year by participating in the Panguitch Lake “Big Fish” Derby. Beginning the first Saturday in January they vie for cash and other prizes by catching the largest fish. For those desiring a more personal tribute to the early settlers of Panquitch, a historic cemetery awaits visitors just two miles east of the town on Highway 89. This hauntingly beautiful burial ground hosts tombstones dated as early as 1870.

House was clean and well maintained. The property managers were very proactive in the check in process and I never had to ask for anything. Beds were comfy

We had a great time in panguitch Utah. Our stay was peaceful and cleanly.

Smoke detector was chirping. We removed the battery. The place needed pest control. The window seals are dirty. The TV is dusty. The fake plants are dusty. Nothing has been dusted in months. The front tub needs something to keep it from being so slick. The master toilet runs ALL THE TIME, wasting water. The front room stinks like either mold/mildew or cigarette smoke. It is TERRIBLE but you only notice it at night or wet mornings. The cheap living room furniture is so short and close to the ground ..... and stained. Flat sheets in place of fitted ones don't stay in place. DirecTv didn't work at all, neither remote.
The A/C wasn't installed properly. It never got cool enough to turned off. Neither shower heads worked well. One was like a water hose and the other ran out both heads at once. There was no where to hang wet towels. The broken UNSAFE highchair needed removed or replaced.
Lisa called and I missed her call. She never answered or called me back. I felt harassed prior to our visit and abandoned afterwards. Multiple texts/emails to remind me of our visit and crickets about checkout or departure.
Your internet was great (better than at home). The place felt cozy. The decorations were good. Having a washer/dryer was convenient and laundry soap!! Patio furniture/BBQ was a great touch. I was surprised to find shampoo and conditioner and extra blankets and a fan. Even a sponge for the sink!!
With all this - we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Nice house, quiet location, perfect for friends or family to stay while you play in Utah. Hopefully we can return soon.

The property is not advertised correctly. It does not have grass in the front or the back yards. The couches are discustingly dirty. The small couch leg broke the first time I sat on it. No one ever came to repair it as we were told would happen. The windows and window sills are filthy with dead bugs. The curtains need repair and cleaning. Extra blankets need washing. The shower curtain liner is filthy and needs cleaning or replaced regularly. There was not adequate hand soap. There should be one at each sink.
It could be a very nice place to come back to is cleaned thoroughly.
Please update your listing with pictures and clean thoroughly. I Elouise love to rent it again with friends for th annual Quilt Walk.
Thank you

We had a great stay! The property was clean and well-appointed. It is within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Roughly 20 min to Bryce Canyon. Great place!

We enjoyed our stay here, we had plenty of room to spread out.
The weather has cooled off considerably in Panguitch and the house was a bit chilly. I asked for help with the main heater but never got a response. There are portable heaters in every bedroom, which helped a lot.
I was also confused by the text messages that came through about checking in.

The place is well set-up with fresh towels, comfortable blankets. Kitchen is neat with all basic necessary cooking utensils. There were a few bugs in the washroom but the place was still livable.
There is no Central Air conditioning so I would have appreciated knowing that beforehand. All in all, I would stay here again and would recommend this place for family and friends.

Customer service
We rented the property for our daughter’s family and they were unable to come to the quilt walk because of schedule changes with their family. When I tried to cancel the reservation I found it almost impossible to talk with someone who could help me with it. They were even refusing to give me any kind of refund because the date of cancellation had expired. I found as I looked on line at other similar properties that many give a full refund up to a week before use. I also realized that I had paid $200 over the price of similar rentals. I would never recommend this rental to anyone. The customer service was very poor.

Don’t let the run down area turn you off. The location is only a 30 minute drive to Bryce and the small downtown has some charm. The house is nicely decorated, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening.

Terrible smell when we walked in. Sewage smell under kitchen sink. Virtually no amenities. No trash bag in the container. No laundry detergent. No covering on the window in the shower. Bugs in bath, kitchen & bedroom. Wet towels left in washing machine. I can’t say one good thing. We tried calling property manager. Left after one night. We were supposed to stay for 3. Terrible property.

Fantastic Week
Rented this as a place to stay while we were there for the ATV Jamboree. Was very clean and well stocked on the inside. The back yard could have been cleaned up a little better than it was. There was plenty of room for the 3 couples that stayed there. We all enjoyed the experience very much.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet home in Panguitch. It provided everything we needed for our family and it was perfect for us. We visited nearby Bryce Canyon National Park and this 3 bedroom home was perfect. I recommend this location especially if you are traveling and visiting Bryce Canyon and the surrounding area. We had no problems at all and everything was just as advertised. A very nice place to stay!

Loved the space; nice, comfortable furnishings & TV; stocked kitchen household wear; nice yard; and liked having a washer & dryer to use when needed. It was a nice relaxing space to have for our family of five with three bedrooms to spread out over. They also had a stocked game cabinet that was fun to utilize.
The only negative was the stale, stagnate smoke smell. It gave us headaches. The property advertised that it is a "No Smoking" property, but neglected to mention it had been lived in by smokers so the smoke permeated the walls & cupboards.
When we notified the owners about this, they said they'd bring over some air fresheners (which would have only masked the problem). But instead, they put an air purifier (we think) on the porch without informing us. It would have been more professional had they communicated with us about it & its use & clarified they were doing something different instead to help with this problem.
Luckily it was mild weather (not too hot & not too cold) so we were able to open the windows for most of our stay & that helped immensely to get the stagnant smoke smell out, (but when the windows were closed, it built up again until we opened them again). Having the windows open made it bearable to ease our second-hand smoke headache discomfort.

This home is a very functional cozy home. So so much better than a hotel for extended stays. We were in town for a reunion for the better part of 5 days. The three bedrooms, laundry room, and fully outfitted kitchen made our stay in Panguitch so much easier.

Excellent house for our group adventure in Bryce!!! Thanks for the hospitality!

Nice and clean. Well furnished with almost everything a group needs.
A very nice little house in Panguitch. It was easy to find and clean. We played some games that were available and watched a little TV. The evening and night time temperatures are quite chilly this time of year and the single gas heater in the home struggles to keep up making it a bit chilly in the house. Sleeping was nice, every bed had plenty of blankets. We were only there for two nights and enjoyed them both.
Plenty of plates and utensils and pots and pans in the kitchen.
The linens were fresh and clean.
The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of hot water and water pressure.
We had a great stay at the Casa Azul in Panguitch, Utah!
