Hale Huna (Hidden House) is a delightful beach house located on the green belt with just a short walk to Poipu's finest beaches, pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. The front courtyard is private for relaxation and features a barbecue so you can enjoy all your meals in the Hawaiian sunshine. Backyard lanai is open to the green belt. An outdoor shower is perfect for a rinse after the beach. Inside is a spacious living room has a 75-inch smart TV with surround sound. Air conditioning in all bedrooms, as well as the living, kitchen and dining areas. Open concept kitchen into living room and dining area, which seats 8. There are two additional seats at the kitchen island. The whole family enjoyed our stay at Hale Huna! The house is well suited for a family or friends trip and is located within walking distance of multiple beaches (where we saw turtles, whales, and monk seals!). We appreciated having a place where we could all eat dinner together, as well as spend time in the living room or on the lanai. We especially enjoyed all the snorkel gear, boogie boards, and other equipment that made beach trips extra fun, and the access to the athletic club was also a fun perk! We would happily stay here again whenever we can get back to Kauai. Thanks for the hospitality!

Our family (5 adults and 2 pre-schoolers) spent a week at Hale Huna and had a great stay. The house, grounds, and location were just as described. The house was spacious, very clean, and with lots of amenities! There was plenty of common space to enjoy (both indoors and outdoors - with the kids able to run around on the green belt while we sipped drinks and enjoyed people watching from the back lanai) as well as private space with the four bedrooms. Having the four bathrooms (3 en-suite) was great. The kitchen was extremely well stocked making cooking meals convenient and easy. The beach supplies were plentiful - chairs, snorkeling gear, sand toys, ice chest and more - plus a wagon to take everything to the beach along the green belt path. Being so close to several beaches meant we didn't need to pile in the car and drive when we wanted to hang out or walk along the water, see the turtles and seals, or - best of all - snorkel at Poipu which had the best viewing and safest water area for the little kids this time of year. We also appreciated the helpful references and clear, prompt, friendly communication with Kim, our host! Our stay exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend Hale Huna!

This home was everything and more! It was beautiful. It was easy to find. I loved how many bathrooms there were. The hosts were wonderful and easy to get ahold of. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. The location was perfect, and close to restaurants, beaches, etc. The TVs in every room was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

I’ve visited Kaua’i many times - I live on the Big Island - this was by far the best property we have ever rented. The property manager was great in their communication, the home was by far the cleanest and most well kept up that we have ever stayed in. Quiet neighborhood with easy walking distance to beaches. This home was very well equipped and totally comfortable. Will definitely stay here again - most likely next year for our annual pilgrimage to diving Ni’ihau.

This was, hands down, one of the best rental experiences I’ve ever had. First of all the house is beautiful and very well taken care of. The bottle of wine and local snacks were above and beyond as far as making us feel welcome. Our group was 9 people including three children and we were very comfortable. Great location with just a short walk to two beaches and the pool as well as short driving distance to many restaurants. Our trip consisted of three home rentals and this was by far the best of them all. I would not hesitate to rebook this property again.

Property was perfect for our stay. Daughter got married at the Grand Hyatt, just down the path from the house. Plenty of room to get ready and a beautiful courtyard area for pictures! All the amenities we needed and then some. Owners were lovely. Highly recommend.

Aloha! Our stay at Hale Huna was filled with first class accommodations throughout the home! Two families (four adults and five kids) stayed at this property for eights nights.
Whether it was inside, the front porch, or the back yard BBQ area, there was plenty of room for all to spread out and not feel cramped at all. The owner provided enough beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, snorkel gear, and beach cart which stayed in our vehicles the entire stay. They came in handy every where we went.
Everything in the house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The pantry was filled with all the spices you’d need to prep an indoor meal or enjoy a back yard cook out on the Weber Genesis gas grill. From the cookware, to the Henckel cutlery, to the plethora of dinnerware, everything was high quality and what you’d expect to have or desire to have at your home.
The home is perfectly located to enjoy a brief morning walk to enjoy a beautiful sunrise on Shipwreck beach or amazing sunset on Po’ipu beach. Included in the stay was a membership to the local athletic club. This was short drive to a great place the let our families wind down with an afternoon swim and Mai Tai’s.
We’d love to have the opportunity to return to Kauai and stay here at Hale Huna…it would be the first place we would check for availability.

Great house in a great location. Backs up to greenway that leads to beaches and Hyatt resort. Loved sitting out back enjoying the constant breeze. House air conditioned but rarely used it. We left something in the house after we checked out; they let us back in to retrieve item; really appreciate their timely help to renter.

We stayed for a week as a family with our daughters and their spouses, and two teen-age grand daughters. This trip was making up for a lot of missed events during Covid - a 50th anniversary, and several significant birthdays.
There is no way we could have found a better house in any way. The location was perfect for walks and hikes out the door, easy strolls to Poipu Beach (go early to see the turtles in the morning and great swimming and snorkeling), access to a lovely pool in the Kahala complex. Most mornings the teen-agers were off while we enjoyed early coffee on one lanai or the other.
The kitchen is so well equipped and there is plenty of room for several of us to work on a meal at the same time. The grill is new and very clean. The beds are uniformly comfortable. Plenty of room to share time together or escape to our own spaces. Impeccably clean.
There is air conditioning throughout, but we rarely needed it with the breezes and ceiling fans. Lots of beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. are provided.
A path through the greenbelt runs across a lawn on one side, but it still felt very private and we slept with our bedroom doors and windows open. The other lanai is completely private.
It is a quick drive into Koloa for groceries, and a fun town to poke around in. Costco and Safeway in Lihue are only about 20 minutes away.
We are already thinking about the next excuse for us all to return. College graduation in a few years?

Wonderful house that worked so well for our family of nine. The front and back outdoor spaces gave us places to spread out for quiet time when we needed it. Couldn’t have been more perfect. We hope to come back again in the future.

We picked this trip location, with family, to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The location and beautiful home were perfect for us. The home was stocked with everything we needed including beach equiptment. 4 bathrooms were a real bonus. Kim was wonderful.

My family of 6 enjoyed a splendid stay at Hale Huna. It was perfectly located between Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach along a serene greenbelt. Every night we would stroll to Poipu Beach and count how many endangered Green Sea Turtles were basking for the night. We were thrilled when the critically endangered Hawaiian Monk Seals would visit the beach as well.
The sunrises over Shipwreck beach were a daily pleasure as well.
Kim was an attentive host who was quick to reply to inquiries. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket waiting for us upon arrival. We also appreciated that the house was so fully stocked with everything we could possible need or want. The AC units worked perfectly.
The house was large and could have held more guests.Three rooms have their own ensuites and the fourth room had access to the hall bath, so convenient!
The access to the pool was so convenient. It was especially nice to have access to the athletic club as well. We enjoyed drinks poolside. The Cabana restaurant at the athletic club was some of the best food we had on the island.
The location of the house was ideal! We were able to find restaurants and shops within a short drive. We made several trips to the airport and it was an easy drive as well.
Check out Little Fish restaurant for an acai bowl and coffee. We did multiple times. Delicious!
We cannot say enough great things about this home. We would recommend it for everyone.

This home was perfect for our group of 8. Everyone had their own space and bathrooms. The home has AC in every room and that was much needed after a day at the beach or hiking. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect to prepare a few home cooked meals. Home was very clean, so comfortable and presentable. Location was awesome, within easy walking distances to several beautiful beaches. It was such a great place to call home-base for a week. Really enjoyed everything about it. Great home for our extended family trip. Well stocked kitchen which was great for us as we try to cook most of our meals while traveling with children. We also loved having a bit of outdoor space for kids to play around the house.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I with our 6 children ages 20-28 to spend our after Christmas family time. There was plenty of seating for everyone inside and out. There were enough bathrooms for us all.
Location was PERFECT! Walk to 3 beaches and coffee and the athletic center was free for our morning workouts and late afternoon pickleball.
The house had lots of beach chairs and boogie boards as well.
Loved the open floor plan and various patios.
The owner was super responsive and everything worked great!
Kauai was our favorite of the 4 Hawaiian islands we have visited. This house was within an hour or so from the Canyon and the North shore. We also explored the cliffs on the southern point.
We cooked most of our meals at the house with food from Costco. The gas grill was so convenient.

We loved our stay at Hale Huna. The house is immaculate and the layout is fantastic. All four bedrooms are along a hallway that feels separate from the open living room and kitchen area -- which was fantastic for our two year old who napped daily and went to bed earlier than the adults. Three of the rooms have their own connected full bath -- and the bathrooms are large, modern and super clean. We loved that each room had their own bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need - we ate most meals at the house and found the kitchen and grill to give us everything we need for delicious meals. And the location is amazing - walkable to Poipu Beach with a great "pool" for young children, and walkable to Shipwreck Beach outside the Hyatt. And there is a 'greenbelt' right out the back of the house which our 2 year old and his cousins could run around on. We highly recommend Hale Huna and all the communication with Kim was fast and clear and helpful. Thanks Kim!

This house had everything we needed for five adults and one toddler. Rooms had comfortable beds, televisions, we all had our own bathrooms and even with our boisterous family, it felt quiet in the house when putting our son down to bed while the rest of the family hung out in kitchen and living room. Short walk to the Grand Hyatt on the lovely greenbelt. We never checked out the pool because we were such a short drive from Poipu Beach which was also perfect place to swim with a kiddo and lots of sea turtle sightings. The house has all the gear you need for a great day at the ocean including beach chairs, snorkels, sand toys for kiddos, towels and more. We would definitely stay here again!

Originally I had booked this stay because it could sit a table of 10 for dinner. 6 people couldn't make it, so we ended up as a party of 4 for the Holiday. The property did not disappoint. The bedrooms were nicely spaced apart, the living area was spacious and open. It had everything we needed to cook our turkey breast (even an in oven thermometer), spinach and mashed potatoes. The property is close to the beach and to the pool. Very easy walk to get to all wanted activities. Would book again in a heart beat. Wish we had stayed longer.

If the opportunity comes around again, we wouldn't hesitate to return to the Hale Huna property again for a conference or vacation! It had a home like atmosphere. Also, clean, roomy, comfortable, with nice amenities, great location, etc. Owner always responded within 24 hours to a number of questions. It is located in a nice neighborhood and can also be accessed through a greenway to places like the Grand Hyatt. Overall, great experience!

The property manager, Kim, was great at communicating with us and we had a wonderful time at the property. Everything we needed was provided and emails were answered in a timely matter. If we ever head back to Kauai, this would be our top choice. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and it is perfectly situated in a quiet area.

Absolutely gorgeous property that more than comfortably fit the 6 of us who stayed. Very close to everything we wanted to do. Kim had everything we needed and more. Closet stocked with games, cards, towels, beach supplies. 10/10 would recommend.
