The apartment is located in the pedestrian area and in the immediate vicinity of the typical fruit, vegetable and fish market. During the day the numerous shops invite to a stroll and in the evening you can choose one of the many typical restaurants for a cozy dinner. A recent restoration has brought to light both parts of the old stone walls and the beautiful wooden beams dating from the beginning of the last century. It is located in the 3rd Floor with lift and consists of a bedroom with a balcony overlooking the dome of a church, a bathroom with shower and a large dining and living area with a balcony overlooking the pedestrian street with its restaurants. Due to its extremely central location, it is a 5-minute walk to the quay wall, from where the boats leave for Lerici, Portovenere, Palmaria and 5 Terre. Also to the train station, from where the trains leave for the 5 Terre, Pisa, Genoa, etc. are about 5 minutes walk.

This rental is the most well kept property we have ever stayed at. The owners take such great pride in their condo. They provided us with snacks, bottle of wine & great advice. Giorgio was there to greet us, gave us a great restaurant suggestion (Trattoria Bellavista ask for Claudia). He also suggested a visit to Porto Venere at sunset, which was stunning. This rental was clean, well appointed, awesome location & view. Would definitely stay again. Cannot go wrong. Thank you.

We can’t describe how beautiful and spacious this renovated 150 year old home was. It had all of the modern touches guests expect, and yet retained character and charm with exposed ceiling beams and original stonework. We really enjoyed having wine and appetizers each night on the balcony overlooking the street.
The hosts were truly special and communicated with us before and throughout our stay. Giolio and Martina went out of their way to make us feel at home. They provided enough food and supplies (including some vino) for us the day we arrived to avoid us having to run to the grocery. They also had an array of helpful maps of the area, parking tips for our car, and restaurant recommendations. The apartment is ideally located just a short walk to the marina, buses, and train station.
There is an elevator to help get you and your luggage to the 4th floor which was much appreciated.
I would also highly recommend the restaurant Vicolo intherno next door. The food was outstanding for lunch and dinner, and the owner, Patricia, made us feel welcome and had excellent recommendations for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo is super lovely. The owners have done an outstanding design of the unit.
Location is excellent in the heart of La Spezia close to many great restaurants and coffee shops. Also close to grocery stores and a city market.
It's only a short walk from the water and ferries to surrounding seaside villages.
We'll be back.

This is a perfect property and our host was kind and informative regarding everything we could ask for whether it was information or towels to take to the beach. I'd highly recommend staying at this property if you love a thorough and attentive host who owns a special property in the heart of the action!

The experience was great. Not only was the property clean with comfortable beds and space, Martina and Giorgio made the stay very comfortable by thinking of everything one might need during the visit: Info/maps, coffee/tea, drinks and fruit in the refrigerator, a bottle of wine, even some umbrellas in case of rain. The details were very thoughtful.
The location is approximately a 10 minute walk from the train station which allows easy access to Cinque Terre. It is located near restaurants, fruit market, grocery stores, pharmacy, etc.
My family would stay here again. Our only regret is that we didn't stay long enough and did not explore La Spezia.

Giorgio and Martina are fantastic hosts. Giorgio was there to meet us with a friendly welcome and took time to explain the layout of the wonderful apartment and give some first class tips on places to see, eat etc. Indeed all communication with Giorgio and Martina throughout the booking process and during our stay was quick, helpful, super-friendly and informative. La Spezia itself is highly underrated and has a laid-back, friendly vibe (just like our hosts!). The apartment is exceptionally well equipped and was a joy to stay in. Martina and Giorgio add some much appreciated welcome touched that make this feel like a home from home. We are already planning our return. Thank you so much Giorgio and Martina.

This apartment is a must stay in La Spezia. Recently renovated, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Our hosts provided for every comfort. Fresh fruit, candy dish on the coffee table, disposable razors in the bathroom. Can’t imagine a better place to stay at any price. You won’t be disappointed!

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, and Martina and Georgio are the consummate hosts, providing many of the little extras that make all the difference, from coffee pods to wine, fruit, and maps of the Cinque Terre.
The neighborhood is pretty noisy: it's a the heart of town, and things get raucous when the windows are open. But when they are closed, the sound is very effectively sealed out.
The location is convenient in many ways: farmer's market, waterfront, groceries, pharmacy, and restaurants are all nearby. We took Georgio's advice and went to Il Bergone for dinner one night: the meal was magnificent!
We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of La Spezia!

The location was central for accessing the train station, the wonderful market, and the boats to Cinque Terre, & Giorgio provided lots of info & advice during check-in. We have stayed a million places on our family adventures. I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of the most beautiful, most comfortable, and most enjoyable to date. We were floored with the style and taste of decor, level of attention to detail, and the location. Can't wait to come back.
Martina met us at the door and welcomed us to her beautiful apartment. She gave us a tour of her place, recommended boat tours (thank you!), restaurants, things to do, etc. The space is absolutely clean, the kitchen well stocked with everything you need (one of the best we've been to!). Comfy bed, thoughtful touches, quiet neighborhood. Location was superb - 3 minutes walking distance to local market with lots of fresh produce, lots of restaurants and café, shopping. We felt very much at home at Martina's place. THANK YOU! We'll be back!

Martina and Georgio’s apartment is a home away from home. They have put much thought into meeting a traveller’s needs from the welcome food treats and wine to the recommendations for local activities. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Georgio gave us a warm welcome and we appreciated his hospitality. La Spezia has much to offer and the location gave us a sense of being part of the community.

The apartment is stunning and the hosts were spectacular. The bedroom balcony overlooking the church was perfect for morning coffee as was the street-front balcony for evening wine. Great location for restaurants and an easy walk to train and ferry. Exceptional amenities to make our stay comfortable! An in-house dinner and breakfasts were easy thanks to nearby market and well stocked kitchen. A perfect apartment for calm and comfort after days in Cinque Terre or a great choice for a long-term stay to sample life in Italy.

Great Stay in La Spezia
We had originally booked to stay here in 2020 but, due to COVID travel restrictions, had to cancel. The cancellation process was seamless and having spent some time researching properties before initially booking we were keen to select this property when we were actually able to travel.
We were not disappointed when we finally got to the property and were met by Martina who provided us with a huge amount of information on the local area and some great restaurant recommendations. The property was spotless and very comfortable with a great welcome pack which included milk, bread, coffee and a very nice bottle of wine.
We would happily stay here again as the location was ideal for exploring the Cinque Terre by both train and ferry. There was also a market nearby and a bus stop which allowed us to visit Porto Venere for the day.

Traumhaft schöne Wohnung mit herzenslieben Vermietern
Wir haben uns in der Wohnung von Martina und Giorgio sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist mitten in der Innenstadt - Hafen und Bahnhof nur 5min entfernt, Restaurants und Geschäfte direkt vor der Haustüre.
Die Wohnung ist wirklich sauber und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und es wurde an alles gedacht. Vielen Dank für das frische Obst und die Getränke bei unserer Ankunft! Und dann auch noch frisches, selbst gebackenes Brot - absolutes Highlight!!
Der Kontakt zu Martina war super schnell und unkompliziert. Danke für die Restaurant Tipps - es hat überall geschmeckt :)

We had an excellent time - the apartment was outstanding, the location great, well suited for family with a 2yr old toddler and the host is marvelous! Absolute heaven
This property and the owners(Martina and Giorgio) are absolute dreams. The apartment is located about a 10 minute walk from the train station close to many restaurants and stores in a central pedestrian area. The apartment was spacious, completely updated and gorgeous with every amenity available (washer, air conditioning, cooktop, lavatory, etc). Martina and Giorgio have thought of everything and are so hospitable you truly are treated to a five star experience. Can’t recommend enough!!
