Located in Walchsee, this lovely house for £357 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Description of our house: on the ground floor: A large kitchen with space for 12 people and adjoining pantry. Ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, etc. A spacious, rural-rustic lounge with couch, flat screen TV, large corner bench and table (former breakfast room). In total, up to 18 people could comfortably enjoy meals, celebrations and holidays here. 1 new (09/2018) bathroom with shower, sink, fan heater, toilet, dryer and washing machine 1 second, new (09/2018) bathroom with double shower, double sink and fan heater. 1 new (09/2018) separate toilet on the ground floor 1 bedroom on the ground floor with double bed. Upstairs are 6 bedrooms, 1 separate toilet and a bathroom with double shower and toilet. The bedrooms are all equipped with a double bed, some with additional loft bed or third Bed. Internet is free them by W-lan / wifi or network cables. In winter they have an additional storage room with ski boot dryer and ski holders available. Outside the front door you have a beautiful, partly covered terrace with wonderful views of the lake, a large garden, a swing with slide, and a covered giant sandbox. Furthermore, we have prepared for you a small separate Platzerl in front of the house, where they find a fountain with wonderfully cold water and a cozy bench and many flowers. For guests children I have planted around the fountain wild strawberries, where the little ones when the season fits may nibble to your hearts content. Dream view over the Walchsee: Your holiday home Sonnhof is located in the district Kranzach - belonging to Kössen but located on Walchsee. Only 10 minutes walk from the beach Walchsee, with a magnificent view over the lake. In the evening when the sun goes down nice and slow, you can as it sinks from the terrace beobachen vermeindlich in the lake, a dream-picture !! The large house is ideal for families with children, friends or groups who would like to sit together at the table. In the many loungers it can relax and you can hide the everyday once. In the evening, when it is a bit darker then you can if you're lucky, watch the deer directly above the house during grazing. Horse lovers can in the neighboring 4 * hotel riding lessons or a pony ride for rent - comes from our little ones to very good! Also we must swing the tennis racket there after an inquiry and surcharge. Grilling and chilling: Who has your mood can sometimes fire up the grill and the steak or sausages einheizen right in an original large smoker grill. You can also prepare other delicacies on the second, existing kettle grill. When everything is ready you can on the long bench and the four large tables on the terrace with a good glass of grilled taste and spend the evening in a cozy round - what could be more beautiful ?????? We also make sure that you do not know how much to pack in your suitcase and provide you with a washing machine and a dryer for free. Powder please bring your own. Our cottage was renovated inside innwendig already in spring 2011, in the spring of 2012 were now the windows, the facade and the roof of the series. We are also very hard, by advice of our guests to improve the house, the device continues. Also in September 2018, two new bathrooms and a new toilet were built. For you as guests the whole garden, the well, the play equipment, in the house the ground floor and the 1. Stock available. Furthermore, you may use the garage for parking your own bikes, baby carriages or similar. use. For the younger guests we have tricycles, Bobbycar, pedal tractor, buggy, etc. - although not brand new but well maintained.

This was a fabulous house, very well kitted out, comfortable beds, super & plentiful shower rooms, great kitchen & a lovely garden. To have ones own well water was a real treat & the owners were delightful & very easy to communicate with.
The road noise was a bit intrusive particularly at night and the road was incredibly busy but apart from that the location is good. Perhaps having more comfortable furniture in the sitting room would have been nice, it is not a very cosy space. However these are minor criticisms & we absolutely loved our stay at the Ferienhaus. Thanks Barbara & Gerold!

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus
Wir sind zu 11. gereist um einen Ski-/Wander-/Entspannungsurlaub miteinander zu verbringen. Es war ein riesen Glück, dass wir auf das Ferienhaus von Barbara und Gerold gestoßen sind. Das Haus ist rundum perfekt - groß, sehr sauber, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht (vom Grill, dem Schuhtrockner bis hin zur Knoblauchpresse) und bestens durchdacht mit Code-Türschloss.
Barbara und Gerold sind unglaublich freundlich und jederzeit bei Fragen zu erreichen. Auch der Informationsaustausch im Vorfeld läuft klasse.
Wir kommen sicherlich wieder, sei es im Winter oder im Sommer! :)

Wunderschönes, hochwertiges Ferienhaus für größere Gruppen
Wir waren mit 3 Familien (6 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern (4-10 Jahre)) eine Woche im Ferienhaus. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Das Haus ist sehr groß und bietet genug Platz für alle. Am großen Esstisch in der Wohnküche fanden alle Platz. Zwei Kühlschränke bieten genügend Kühl-Volumen. Eine separate Stube bietet bei Bedarf sogar noch mehr Raum.
Die Bäder sind super modern und groß mit genügend Ablagefläche auch für nasse Skisachen. Alle Räume sind sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Schöner Garten mit Spielgerüst und eigenem Brunnen mit Trinkwasser.
Durch das elektronische Türschloss können alle Personen der Reisegruppe jederzeit das Haus ohne Schlüssel betreten und verlassen. Der Skischuh-Wärmer-Schrank ist optimal für die Aufbewahrung und Trocknung der nassen Skischuhe über Nacht und erspart das Skidepot am Lift.
Der Check-in und Check-out war völlig unkompliziert. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin sehr freundlich.
Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub in einem wundervollen Ferienhaus. Vielen Dank.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
Das Haus hat eine hervorragenden Lage zum Walchsee und zu vielen weiteren tollen Freizeitangeboten. Alles ist sehr sauber und vieles noch ziemlich neu. Die Ausstattung ist von Küche bis Kinderspielsachen mehr als ausreichend. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Egal ob mit jung oder alt, wir können dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen.

Ein gemütlicher Ort für die ganze Familie
Wir waren eine Woche im Ferienhaus Sonnhof und wir haben trotz des wechselhaften Wetters es genossen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man findet alles was man braucht. Die große Küche sowie das Stübchen bieten viele Möglichkeiten Gemeinschaft miteinander zu haben. Auch die Nähe zum See ist vorteilhaft.

Sehr sehr schönes Haus
Die Übergabe des Hauses durch die Vermieterin inklusive der Gästekarten des Tourismusverbandes erfolgte problemlos. Der Zugang zum Haus ist für alle Gäste unabhängig voneinander über ein Zahlenschloss möglich. Es kann also jeder für sich frei planen, auch für größere Gruppen. Die Ausstattung des gesamten Hauses innen und außen ist hervorragend. Geschirr und die Auswahl von drei Grillmöglichkeiten erlauben das Kochen und Versorgen auf sehr hohem Niveau. Sanitärausstattung ist ebenfalls tadellos.
Perfekte Ausgangslage für einen grandiosen Aufenthalt.

Fijn verblijf in een zeer complete vakantiewoning
We hebben genoten met 4 gezinnen in de hele mooie, goed voorziene vakantiewoning Sonnhof in Walchsee. Mooie keuken, van alle gemakken voorzien en mooie en ruime slaap en badkamers. Naast het huis konden de kinderen ook nog heel leuk sleeën. Het skigebied ligt enkele km verder en is een ideaal gebied met jonge kinderen, lekker overzichtelijk. Kortom, top vakantie.

Ich kann das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen!
Es ist alles da was man braucht, wunderschöne Umgebung und super freundliche, entgegenkommende Vermieter.
Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben und wie auf den Bildern zu sehen zvorzufinden.
Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, alles sauber und man fühlt sich sofort pudelwohl.
Wir waren zum ersten Mal am Sonnhof aber möchten auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, ein vergleichbares Ferienhaus ist schwer zu finden.
Durch den guten Kontakt mit den Vermietern war alles völlig unkompliziert

Geburtstagsurlaub mit Gruppe in wunderbarem Haus
Wir waren 9 Mädels von Ende 30 bis Ende 70, um einen Geburtstag zusammen zu feiern und ein paar Urlaubstage zusammen zu verbringen. Wir haben uns vom 1. Moment wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus, stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt, sauber und groß genug, um auch in einer größeren Gruppe seine Privatsphäre zu haben. Man braucht wirklich rein gar nichts mitzubringen (alles da: z.B. toll ausgestattete Küche mit viel Geschirr, Gewürzen usw., Waschmaschine, Bücher, Sonnenliegen). Die Küche und die Terrasse waren unsere zentralen Orte: Viel Platz, viele Annehmlichkeiten und eine superschöne Aussicht. Es war zu spüren, dass die Gastgeber (die sehr unkompliziert sind) ihr Herzblut in diese schöne Unterkunft stecken. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen! Danke für den schönen Geburtstag!

Schöne moderenes Haus dem es an nichts fehlt. Freundliche Hausbesitzer und schöne Landschaft runden das Gesamtbild ab. Schnell von Deutschland erreichbar ohne PKW Maut. Gerne wieder.

Toller Winterurlaub in großer Gruppe
Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in einer sehr schönen, modernen Unterkunft. In dem Haus fehlt es wirklich an nichts....von der gut sortierten Gewürzauswahl in der Küche bis zum Skischuhtrockner in der Garage bleiben keine Wünsche offen.
Große Zimmer, Küche und Stube machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.
Auf jeden Fall eine der besten Unterkünfte welche wir im Winterurlaub jemals hatten.

Zweites Mal Familientreffen im Ferienhaus-Sonnhof
Zum zweiten Mal haben wir das Haus für eine Woche - das letzte Mal war 2011 - für unser großes Familientreffen gemietet.
Alle Angaben der Vermieter auf ihrer Website zum Ferienhaus-Sonnhof sind zutreffend.
Das Haus ist in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Über die letzten Jahre sind sogar weitere Dinge hinzugekommen bzw. erneuert worden, z.B. ein Schließsystem mit programmierbarem Zugangscode, welches das Aufteilen von Hausschlüsseln erspart.
Die Vermieter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber nicht aufdringlich.
Wir waren 18 Personen, darunter die 85-jährige Ur-Oma und zwei 2-jährige Ur-Enkel. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer, Bad und WC, sowie Küche und Wohnstube im Erdgeschoss - ein Vorteil für alte Menschen. Die restlichen Schlafzimmer, zweites WC und großes Bad mit Waschmaschine befinden sich im 1. Obergeschoss.
Es gibt extra Reisebetten für Kleinkinder. Schaukel, Rutsche, Sandkasten mit Sand- und anderen Spielsachen (Dreirad, Schubkarren, Traktor, etc.) sind ebenso vorhanden, wie ausreichend Platz zum Spielen und Toben.
Wir haben an sechs Tagen selbst gekocht und können bestätigen: Die Kochutensilien bzw. der Grill, sowie Lager- und Kühlmöglichkeiten genügen leicht für 25 Personen. Lediglich scharfe Messer sollte man selbst mitbringen.
Das kostenlose Internet über WLAN wurde von allen gerne genutzt, wobei es zeitweise auch zu spürbaren Verfügbarkeitsengpässen kam.
Wir hatten wieder eine wunderschöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.

Top Haus für große Familien und kleine Gruppen
Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit Blick auf den Walchsee und die umliegenden Berge. Moderne Küche mit allen Annehmlichkeiten (Spülmaschine, Ceranfeld, Backofen, Microwelle, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Sitzgelegenheit für 10 - 12 Personen, Flat-TV, usw.). Hervorzuheben ist die komplette Ausstattung an neuen Töpfen, Teller und Besteck für 20 Personen. Uriges Stüberl für 20 Personen mit großem Flat-TV. 6 moderne Schlafzimmer mit 2, 3 und 4 Betten. 2 Bäder und 2 separate Toiletten. Schöner Garten mit Brunnen, Sitzmöglichkeiten, Kinderspielplatz, Smoker usw. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum nächsten Supermarkt und 10 Minuten zum Walchsee und in den Ort mit zahlreichen Restaurants. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Danke Barbara und Gerold für die schönen Tage!

Wir hatten eine super Fereinwoche, an der das Ferienhaus und die angenehme Art der Vermieter einen großen Anteil hatten. Wir hatten noch nie ein so durchdacht ausgestattetes Ferienhaus/-wohnung.

Die Vermieterin ist sehr professionell, lieb und korrekt. Das Haus ist in einer Traumgegend mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Der See, die Berge, Geschäfte usw sind zu Fuss erreichbar, und auch das Bussytem funktioniert tadellos.

We were a large family group (15 in total, though 2 could not travel) and the Sonnhof could easily have accommodated 19. It is a spacious, perfectly appointed, cosy chalet in a wonderful location with great views. We did have the benefit of lots and lots of snow, which made our stay particularly magical. But what we really appreciated was the fact that everything was within walking distance, though with excellent (and free) public transport available locally: spectacularly beautiful walks, tobogganing, trails and hikes, a beautiful village, shops and restaurants, wonderful and reasonably priced skiing and equipment hire in Walchsee itself. The charming chalet owners could not have been more helpful and every detail has been carefully thought through in order to make guests comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped! Our 'children' (from eleven up to early twenties) were especially appreciative of the wifi, the underfloor heating, the ski storage and boot/glove warming facilities, and the garden space (for making snowmen etc). However, we could see from the swings/barbecue/garden furniture that this would be a great house and location for a summer holiday also and for holidays with younger children, indeed. Another plus for us was easy access to the airports at Munich and Memmingen as well as the Austrian airports and also, of course, the proximity of the cultural centres of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich. We would love to return some day and warmly recommend the Sonnhof to large family parties or parties of friends.

We spent 2 wonderful summer weeks at this holiday home. We were a party of 12 ranging from 6 to 80 years old with most of us coming from the UK. The house was really well equipped and beautiful and exceeded our expectations. There was not a single thing that we would have changed. The bedrooms and all the rooms were big and beautiful and the views stunning. The spring in the garden was lovely for drinking water and the trough made a great beer cooler. There were plenty of deck chairs provided for the garden, and also a little adult bike and bikes and toys for the children and also BBQs. There was loads to do and no car was needed. We swam most days in the lake. The water is really clear and shallow at the edges so ideal for small children too. We also hired electric boats on the lake and did loads of beautiful walks ranging from 1 to over 7 hours. The cable car in Kossen and chair lift near the summer toboggan run (good fun for getting back down) are just a short bus ride away (free bus with your Kaisercard). Once on the top of the mountains you get lots more walks surrounded by wild flowers and the ringing of cow bells (try the Aschingeralm from the top of the chairlift - easy walk for all and lovely food).There are walks directly from the house into the mountains (destination Lippenalm recommended!). We also went family river rafting in Kossen which was not at all scary but great fun with beautiful scenery and a crystal clear river, and they let you jump out and float down the river too. We also had day trips to Salzburg and Kufstein where we visited the fortress and had lunch in the Auracher Lochl.
The owner, Barbara, is lovely and couldn't have dome more for us.(Thank you Barbara!).
On a practical side, there is no need for a car. The lake and walks into the mountains and into the village can be done from the house and other places are easy to get to on the local bus which goes frequently. A little Spar shop is a couple of minutes walk away and the supermarket is also within easy walking distance. Every morning we walked into Walchsee to get fresh rolls from the bakery.
Getting there was easy: We arrived in Munich, traveled by train to Kufstein (1.5 hours) and then took a bus to Walchsee (30 minutes) and the bus stop is about a minutes walk from house. The bus goes to all the surrounding villages and from Kufstein the train goes to some great destinations. For trip to Salzburg and Munich (including airport) get a Bayern-ticket.
