The Casa S. Miguel 6 House is a traditional Porto's building located in the UNESCO World Heritage area, surrounded by a charismatic and authentic atmosphere, open the window and breathe the soul of Porto! N. Registo 27164/AL The ideal place to stay with family, friends or on businesses, can accommodate up to 8 guests. The house has been refurbished and furnished recently, preserving its old character and adding the quality of nowadays comfort. Available at the house: Free Wifi, 130 TV channels, board games (cards, chess, draughts, mikado, domino) and books. Bed linen, bath towels, beach towels and hair dryer. The bathroom shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper. Kitchen: hob, oven, extractor, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, fridge/freezer, washing / dryer machine, iron and iron board, stick blender, vacuum cleaner, cutlery, glassware, complete kitchen ware and cleaning products are available. Winter - Heating Electric radiators available in all rooms. Summer - Cooling Units available in the bedrooms. One Baby chair and baby cot are available. The house is comprised of three floors: - Ground floor: Entrance with a spacious open living room, kitchen and dining space; - First floor: small living room with sofa bed and access to balcony + double bedroom with access to balcony + complete bathroom with shower; - Second floor: double bedroom with access to balcony + double bedroom with 2 single beds with access to balcony + complete bathroom with bathtub. The S. Miguel 6 house is located in the heart of the historical Porto's area, in a street full of history. At a walking distance from the major sightseeing and restaurants and bars. This house is located in a privileged, safe and quiet location with access to the fantastic view of the city and Douro river from the "Miradouro da Vitoria" across the street. The "Torre dos Clerigos" 3 minutes walk The "Mosteiro de S. Bento da Vitoria" is 1 minute walk. The Lello Library is 5 minutes walk The vibrant Porto's night life is just 5 minute walk way. Come discover Porto and feel at home! Nearest train station: SÃO BENTO - about 700m - 10 min walk. Porto is served by good public transports systems such as Tram, buses, metro, trains. This is a great place to stay with a group of 6. It had everything we needed, and its location was great. Easy walk to all the sights, lots of restaurants nearby. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Porto.

Five of us really enjoyed our five night stay in Porto. The townhouse was centrally located and was just as described. Many have commented on the number of stairs within this historic townhouse… for those who also have never visited Portugal, the townhouse stairs will be just a warm up, as hiking up and down steep stairs and hilly cobblestones will be how you spend your entire vacation while sightseeing in Porto and Lisbon. And it will be well worth the exercise!

We loved our 3 floor unit (2 couples and 2 singles). It was a great location for exploring the old part of the city and the unit is near the end of one of our walking tours! Being in the city, it can be noisy if you leave the windows open at night, and it’s an uphill climb from the train station, but the whole city is that way. New subway construction is messing with roads near the station, but hopefully that will be done in a few more years.

We loved that it was in the historical district. Close to many sites to eat and shop. The mom and pop coffee/deli/snacks store was within a few short steps from the apartment. Ana responded quickly to our questions, helping us with taxis, food recommendations, etc. We loved this place. FYI… if you have difficulty climbing stairs with luggage, this place will not work for you.

The house is in a great location so it is easy to walk to all the major sights. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped should you wish to eat in. All the bedrooms were very spacious and despite the lack of air conditioning remained fairly cool during the day (even during a heatwave), as long as the internal shutters were closed.
Ana was the perfect host and replied promptly to any communication between us. We opted to self check in which was easy to do and meant we could occupy the house earlier than stated. This was a bonus after an early flight from the UK.
The property certainly deserves it's 5* rating. Thank you Ana for a memorable stay in Porto!

We had a great stay in Porto. The house was spotless and convenient for sightseeing. I can only say positive things about the hosts, who answered all messages promptly and were extremely friendly and helpful under the whole stay. I would thoroughly recommend this as the place to stay in town.

Joao was wonderful meeting us at the house and giving us some local suggestions. Our only note would be to get some paper products. The house had no napkins or paper towels and when one bathroom ran out of toilet paper, there was no extra to be found. Do be aware that the living room is smaller than it looks in the pics. It was also quite cold when we were there so we needed to use the space heaters provided in each room. We loved our stay though and really loved the location.

Access to the main sights and shops of Porto is easy. Leave your car in a parking lot if you bring one...Google can't cope with the one way streets. Porto is delightful and we are glad we chose this house on its up-and-coming street undergoing renewal.

The owner of this apartment definitely does her best to ensure that guests have a great experience. We appreciated all the amenities including coffee and teas. The place was spotless (looked and smelled clean). It was in a central location and walking distance to several good restaurants.

Location, location, location! 6 stars!
The apartment is located in the heart of Porto literally a few steps away from a viewpoint that has the most betufull view of Porto. You can see part of the view right from the apartment balcony.
The apartment is fully renovated and very tastefully decorated. It’s exactly as described.
Ana and Joao were great hosts - very easy to communicate. Just keep in mind that they work as a team and manage several properties.
We loved exploring Porto starting from the apartment in the morning and then after having a great dinner in a restaurant near by coming back to the apartment we felt that our adventure exploring historic Porto continues in a comfort of the modern apartment.
We will be back.

A little hard to find but a great place to stay for a few days ir a few weeks (months even). Fantastic little coffee shop just around the corner and loads of great places to eat and drink very close too.

Five adults/a family stayed in Casa S. Miguel, Porto. It was roomy and airy and light and well-equipped. The house is in the center of beautiful historic central Porto. Many restaurants nearby. Beautiful views right out the door. Close to the river front.

Highly recommended
The house is in the old town. Very central but also a quiet street near to a church and a lovely viewpoint. The property is extremely well equipped- we appreciated the basic essentials in the kitchen and the bathrooms. It is also very clean. The downstairs was quite chilly when we arrived but we were able to heat it up electric radiators. There’s lots of hot water and good showers. Excellent property management from João who was there to meet us and sorted out minor problems, however antisocial the hour! All in all highly recommended. I would love to return to this beautiful city and this excellent house!

Great Location and Very Comfortable
The apartment is in a great location to access much that the city has to offer. There is a nice view point only a few meters from apartment. It is located on a quiet street. Ana was also very easy work with. I would happily return.

Attention to every detail
I and three of my friends stayed several nights at this property recently and cannot recommend it highly. It's situated within the UNESCO heritage area, on a relatively quiet street where many of the buildings are still undergoing renovation. Ana, the charming owner, has restored the property with attention to every detail. While the outside remains unchanged, inside there are numerous modern touches with all the needed modern amenities and extremely tasteful furnishings. We particularly appreciated the selection of teas she provided, and loved that she had provided a tasteful selection of international CDs for us to listen to in the second floor study in case we wanted to relax. The 3rd floor bedrooms are quite small, but Ana has designed them in such a way that they do not appear crowded or claustrophobic. All in all, a great stay!

Wonderful rental in the center of things
This is a great 4 bedroom rental equipped with everything you need. Clean, roomy, Very comfortable beds, lovely host, and right in the center of everything. Excellent restaurants, markets and terrific views. Great views of the river and city just around the block and each bedroom comes with a balcony. Would one back again and again.

Terrific house well located
This is a great house for families or traveling friends. On three floors, the second floor has a comfortable bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The third floor has a bedroom with a double bed and another with twin beds, and a bathroom. The house is very well equipped and appointed, with books, music, TV, wifi, well equipped kitchen. Nearby supermarket is passable. Our host Ana was welcoming and very helpful.

Our stay was great ! Nice and spacious great lovation -we could walk out the door and around the corner with a glass of wine and have the most incredible view -Anna was accomafating and responsive -and everything worked !

Excellent base for a stay in Porto
This is a charming and well equipped town house in the old part of central Porto. It is quiet, comfortable and all one wants for a stay in Porto. Ana is a very welcoming and helpful host. There is a good cafe just around the corner and a traditional restaurant very close by. This town house is highly recommended.
