You’ll find Brazilian Cherry floors throughout, a fireplace, central air, ceiling fans and charming screened porch with estate wicker for card games, reading and an afternoon snooze. Enjoy beautiful East-West breezes. Bad knees? No problem, for it is merely a few small steps into the front door. Easy, free, plentiful parking right in front and one carport space in the rear. You will find yourself on one of Ocean City’s most desirable, beautiful, owner-occupied streets. Only five houses to one of Ocean City’s greatest beaches. Stroll to the beginning of the 2.5-mile boardwalk, or join the bikers on the bike path nearby. A block away is a family restaurant and ice cream parlor. The gorgeously appointed kitchen finished in blue granite that features a lighted island. A white coral chandelier hangs over the dining room table while French doors onto the deck invite you to enjoy your morning coffee. Entertain with beautiful serving pieces that decorate the shelves and are left for your use. Washer and dryer are in a room off the kitchen. The living room is a serene blue with white wainscoting and beautiful, original art hanging on the walls. Fresh flowers and palms compliment shell pillows. There is also a darling children’s’ corner. Leave the linens and towels at home because we have supplied them. Three ample bedrooms have seashore and elegant island themes in colors of turquoise, pale yellow, coral and ocean green. Unique tile and glass bathrooms complete the scene. Six beach tags are included for your use as is a private enclosed outside shower after a day of sun and sea. Cable and wireless connections are included. We are looking for families who will love this place as we do. Relax. Live the dream in America’s number one family resort. The signed lease and 50% of the rental payment is due within 7 days to reserve your week. The remaining balance is due at least 30 days prior to occupancy. A $500 Security Deposit is required. My teen daughter and I stayed for a long weekend, and really enjoyed our time. The house is very cozy and a great home away from home. Molly is very sweet and it’s clear she wants people to enjoy their stay. Also, it’s a great location - just a few short blocks from the beach!

Host was very nice, location was great. Other than that, totally not as advertised.
The house was not clean, Fridge shelves with food smears and old lettuce leaf in the drawer. Sand in one of the beds. Floors were dirty and a dust/hair clump was on the kitchen table centerpiece. Kitchen very small and mediocre in supplies.
2 of the 4 ceiling fans didn't work and one of the outlets in a bedroom was missing a face plate - not kid safe.
Bedrooms are tiny, barely room to move around the beds.
The "deck" is a 2ft wide walkway along one side of the house.
The shower in hall bath was missing a piece that made it leak on the floor.
Trim is missing on a window in the front bedroom and leaked onto the floor during rainstorm.
The instructions for guest request that they not only strip the beds (perfectly resonable) but that they make them up with clean sheets for the next guests. This is most likely what led to the sandy sheets.
The host did come right down when we discovered the dirty fridge and sandy sheets. She swiped a sponge on the fridge shelf and did put new sheets on the bed. She also left gift certificates for our family to have a meal at the local pancake house.
She also had the electrician come and repair the ceiling fans. He did not replace the missing faceplate on the outlet.
In general, this property seems a bit neglected, not maintained well. The listing needs to be updated to reflect honest sizes of the space.

The house was very clean and well stocked. The hostess was helpful and friendly, giving suggestions on what to do and where to eat. She was also very responsive to any problems or questions we had.

It was great having kids toys, beach chairs wagons and pack and play on site. Also linens and towels were provided making for a hassle free experience. Molly was a great host!

We had a great time and it is just a short walk to the beach. It's a nice, quiet, relaxing beach place! The owners are lovely and very attentive. It's our third time staying here and we'll be back!

This is a gorgeous property! The attention to detail amazed us. From fresh flowers, a fire going and beautiful music awaiting our entry, we were so impressed. Jim and Molly were wonderful and a wealth of information for activities and history. Our only gripe is that we didn’t stay long enough but we’ll remedy that with another, longer stay!

One and a half blocks from a gorgeous quiet beach, the house supplied what we needed and we really didn't need anything in the way of linens. I brought my own spices but there is an Acme close by so we could buy everything we needed. The town of Ocean City is so clean, friendly, and pretty, everyone is so welcoming. Molly and Jim were fabulous hosts, and Molly's iced tea in the fridge upon arrival was welcoming and delicious. The girls rented surf boards for the week and surfed off the beach almost every day.

Lovely 1st floor home away from home including a screened porch and big, new kitchen. Hosts were attentive and kind when we needed them, and otherwise gave us complete privacy.

We love Molly and Jim’s place, and we love Molly and Jim! This was our second trip here, and will not be our last. My 13 year old twins think of it as their “second home” and I suppose I do as well! The location is amazing, and the beautiful front porch was our go to hang out most evenings. I’ve been coming to Ocean City since I was born, and this rental is by far our favorite! We will be back as soon as we can!!

We had a girlfriends (3 of us) get away at Coastal Cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It's located very close to the beach in a quiet residential part of OCNJ. We went in December so most restaurants and other businesses were closed which didn't matter to us since we cooked or got takeout from over the bridge. It has a nice kitchen and lots of dishes, utensils, etc.
One of the bedrooms with the twin beds is quite small so it may have been challenging if there were two adults in that room but would be OK for small kids and was fine for one adult.
The hosts couldn't have been any nicer -- welcoming and checked in with us to inquire if we needed anything.
We normally wouldn't have come so late in the year but scheduling conflicts had us come in December. We'd come back but at a warmer time of the year.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The Kelly's were the best hosts! There are so many wonderful things to share about our time here....starting with fresh iced tea in the fridge upon arrival (after you've sat in traffic for hours, this is the BEST treat), beautiful and welcoming decor, linens/towels provided, quick walk to the beach and Kessel's, cozy front porch for morning coffee, easy check-in/check-out, and more! It was the perfect weekend getaway! We definitely hope to visit again soon!

The location is phenomenal and the hosts make it feel like a bed and breakfast with privacy. The welcome pitcher of ice tea is just what you need after traveling. The Kelly’s are thoughtful and make sure you have everything you need including recommendations for places to visit, eat, and what’s going on in the area. Will be sure to stay there again!

Our family had a terrific vacation in Ocean City, NJ. Jim and Molly are wonderful hosts. They have put great attention into the decor of their home, including beautiful artwork :) It was clean, comfortable with a bright and cheery energy. My kids enjoyed biking to the boardwalk or to get morning donuts. The short walk to the beach was much appreciated by all!

Myself, husband and 2 small children, ages 3 and 8, stayed in this beautiful beach home! Upon entering, Jim gave us a quick walk through the home-fresh flowers & iced tea as a warm welcome. My son had a late baseball game and we ended up coming very late that evening but they were so accommodating which was awesome—So nice! The home was immaculate and perfect for our family. The landscaping was gorgeous and extremely well kept. The neighborhood was so peaceful, which allowed for my daughter and I to take daily naps on the outside screened in porch. The owners provided all towels, linens, paper products, beach tags, chairs, washer/dryer...you name it they provided it. The outside shower was a major perk-my kids loved it! Close to a cute ice cream shop and so close to the beach. I’m a big runner and the location was super for peaceful morning jogs! There is also a trolley that runs right next to the street which takes you to and from the boardwalk! My children looked forward to seeing Mr. Jim and his dog Maggie each morning. We are very lucky to have had such kind and caring people to rent from! Kelly’s-thank you for making this one of our most memorable family vacations! We look forward to coming to this beautiful beach cottage again next summer!

The Kelly's house is a short block and a half from the beach: perfect location. Clean and fully equipped and lots of extras. There are beach chairs, beach tags, umbrella's and bikes, check in and get right to the beach. Jim was a caring host making sure we found everything we needed and excellent recommendations for restaurants, pizza, and pastries!

Our most favorite OC rental. First floor unit is just beautiful. We got there to a pitcher of delicious ice tea and fresh flowers. All the linens and towels were provided which was just wonderful. Never rented a house that provided those. The screened in front porch was so relaxing in the mornings and the evenings. Beautiful flowers and landscaping...this picture does not do it justice. Five houses from the beach. We just loved it and will definitely rent again. Jim and Molly were so nice. Thank you so much.

We got to the house and we're very disappointed. It was extremely extremely tiny, cluttered and tight. We couldn't even fit one suitcase in the master bedroom. My mother is disabled with a walker and there was furniture everywhere. We were deathly afraid she would fall. We could not stay there. I did tell the owner upon booking that my mother was elderly and disabled and there was no mention of the difficulty navigating the space. We spent a tremendous amount of money on this house and couldn't even stay there. We have rented through VRBO for 8 successful years and we will not rent on there again due to this experience. We lost all our money and I don't think this would have occurred if we had gone through a realtor initially. There was ZERO parking for my elderly parents. The one space that they did provide was way too tight for our mid sized SUV. The space was crammed into a small garage space in between other cars. We called a realtor and found a house on the beach less!! I can't even believe this owner charges what he does for a 3 bedroom, tiny, cramped place. It was uncomfortable furniture. The TV was ancient. Chairs were everywhere and with 2 kids and elderly parents, it was not ideal. The enclosed porch had no screens so you were literally sitting in a hot box. The owner would not give us any money back so we ended up paying for 2 homes this week. He said as a courtesy he would give us back our security deposit. As a courtesy? We handed in the keys and never even stayed more than 10 minutes. A courtesy would be to give us money back, if not all- then some. Anything would be helpful. We are not complainers. We felt the home was unsafe for kids and my parents. We would never ever ever recommend this for a family. Literally the worst house we have ever rented in 8 years in Ocean City.

We just finished spending a great vacation week in Ocean City at this Gold Coast Jewel! This home is immaculate with beautiful wooden floors, tasteful beach decor, a wonderful granite kitchen, lovely screened in porch and great outside shower. Jim and Molly are perfect hosts and thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable from local coupons and newspapers, to fresh flowers to a delicious pitcher of ice tea waiting in the refrigerator. We have three children under 5 and the location and amenities were perfect for our needs. We feel lucky to have found this property!

What a wonderful week in an absolutely wonderful home. The owners go way beyond what you expect of a typical shore rental. Furnishings, linens and even kitchenware are what you would find in a well appointed home. We didn't even want to go out for dinner as it was such a pleasure to cook in the kitchen. The front porch was a great place to relax and read or for the kids to play. We really appreciated that there were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and even sand toys. In all, the location is great--very close to beach, short trolley ride to boardwalk, near bike path and fairly close to playground--and the home itself is just made for relaxing. The owners could not have been more gracious with providing plenty of info on Ocean City and a daily paper; there was even a pitcher of iced tea waiting for us in the fridge! Thank you Jim and Molly for making our stay so thorouhly enjoyable.
