We want you to take advantage of our cottage to enhance your discovery of the treasures of Alsace. Our cottage is ideally located in the heart of the main pedestrian street in Colmar. The very bright apartment is on the 2nd floor of a historic building and has been completely renovated to offer modern and quality services. With a surface area of 59 m2 with no sloping ceilings, you will have a large bedroom, a large living room and a very functional kitchen. This property is in a perfect location. It is on one of the main thoroughfares of the old town with everything at your fingertips. Monoprix supermarket is about 30 metres away.
The apartment is comfortable with dual frontage over the pedestrian area. The perfect spot for visiting beautiful Colmar.

Worked out well, overall. Pros: easy to walk through all of the town. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Spacious gite. Love the Christmas tree in the apartment!
Cons: it was just a really noisy neighborhood late at night, largely due to the pub across the narrow street. Never settled down until after 0200.

This is a brilliant apartment! It is clean, comfortable and equipped with all you’d need. Its location is superb, with the whole of the old town within easy walking distance - it is right next to the town hall! The secure parking is a couple of minutes’ walk away - but it’s an easy walk: if you have a car, I’d recommend it.
The hosts are very helpful and responsive and have provided not only all the equipment and facilities you need but also have a very helpful collection of tourist leaflets.
Being in the centre of town, there is the usual city noise - including an enthusiastic street cleaning vehicle which seems to pay special attention to the town hall! It does come early, though!
But - forewarned is forearmed - there is also a bar across the street with an owner and customers who don’t care about screaming and shouting late into the night. One night this was until 01h30. Patrick emailed the owner and it did seem to limit the noise after midnight!
We had a great week in the apartment and spent a couple of days following the wine trail, which led us to some gorgeous villages. Tons of restaurants and bars within an easy walk of the apartment, meaning home catering was very limited!
All in all, recommended!

Smack in old town where all the action is. Well decorated and very clean place. Patrick met us upon arrival and was very communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

Lots of windows flooded the space with light, while below on the Main Street the tourists and locals went about their daily lives.
Colmar was like a story book with charming structures everywhere we looked. Patrick’s apartment allowed his guests to escape from the busy streets below!

Quaint apartment in the middle of Old Town!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Colmar. The apartment was updated and as advertised. You have to be willing to climb some stairs as it is a 2nd floor European property. A big bonus was the parking spot in a parking garage about 100 meters from the apartment. Patrick was a great host, meeting us on arrival and once again when we left. There is access to groceries a block away and many restaurants down the stairs. This apartment was truly in the center of all community activity. Thanks Patrick!

Wonderful Location, Lots of Windows, Comfortable Bed
Wonderful location directly on a pedestrian zone in Old Colmar. Lots of people during the day, very quiet at night. Everything I needed was in the apartment and the bed was the most comfortable so far. Excellent communication. Parking can be troublesome, but luckily Patrick was able to offer me his underground private parking space at the end of the block. (45 euro/4 nights). I've already recommended this VRBO to my friends.

Loved our stay
Patrick was an excellent host and the apartment was everything that the listing promised. The location is very convenient -- just inside the pedestrianized city centre -- and quiet. What impressed us most was the thoughtfulness that had gone into anticipating visitors' needs. The apartment functions very well as a temporary home. We're hoping to return.

Well Placed in Colmar
My wife and I stayed in the apartment for 8 nights. The apartment is very much as it appears in the photos and is on the second floor. One side of the apartment overlooks the main commercial street of Colmar, meaning that you are not far from anything in Colmar’s old town. We had everything we needed during our stay. Parking is available for an additional charge and is about 150 meters away in a secure underground car park on the edge of the old town. As is nearly always the case when you stay in the center of a city or town it can get noisy and also as is usually the case the windows are very good at keeping the noise out. Just understand that if you are there in hot weather as we were you may need to choose between a cool breeze and quiet. The apartment gets a lot of afternoon sun this time of year and does have two fans which we greatly appreciated. I need to be clear, this is not a complaint, I just think it is much better to know if you are considering a stay in July or August. I think it is also quite normal in Colmar as it is cold far more often than it is hot. Patrick and his wife were very helpful and worked with us to achieve an easy arrival and departure. The ultimate question is, would we stay there again and the answer is definitely YES.

We’re frequent VRBO users, and only once have we ever been as pleased with a property! From the friendly response of the owner (and his parents as we were leaving), to the beautifully decorated, spacious, and extremely well equipped apartment, everything was perfect! We had a fantastic stay at Patrick's apartment. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The location was really central which was great. Patrick was also very responsive and made the whole stay very easy. Would recommend!

Well equipped 2nd floor apartment in the centre of town
This is a lovely centre of town apartment ideal for wandering around Colmar. Well equipped with plenty of room for two. Patrick greeted us warmly and was most helpful. Be aware that as the property is on the main thoroughfare there can be noise all night long - heard with the windows open. Not a problem to us but we live in London! Colmar itself is lovely with plenty to see and loads of restaurants. Very picturesque, situated in a nice area. Would recommend a trip up the hills to the Vosges region.

Historic apartment in the heart of Colmar's pedestrian district.
Apartment is perfectly located in the pedestrian area of Colmar and is nicely decorated and clean. It provided a great opportunity to live as a local. A grocery store, restaurants and shopping galore are within steps of the front door. We had a car and were able to park in a private garage within a very short distance and at an extremely reasonable rate (by far less expensive than public parking). Patrick and Sabrina were very responsive to our questions and super friendly. We hope to be able to return some day!

Patrick was helpful and responsive. The apartment is well equipped clean and comfortable. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities . The central location meant some noise in the morning but quiet at night. Colmar lovely town with lots of good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much and had good access to canals / Rhine for cycling and walking .

A roomy, modern flat
The property was clean and modern. It was in the center of town, easy walking distance to everything. We did not have a car, and did not need it. Colmar itself is a bit confusing, but after a day we could find our way quite well, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Flawless apartment in center of historic Colmar.
This apartment provided us with the perfect base for exploring Colmar and La Route du Vin. It is spacious, nicely appointed and overlooks a central-district street. The owner, Patrick, was very helpful. A highly memorable experience.

Absolutely Great Location!
The location of this apartment is in the pedestrian only part of Colmar with numerous restaurants within 10-15 minute walk away. "Little Venice" is nearby as well. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. Patrick is a great host. As others have mentioned, take advantage of the parking option. I would highly recommend this rental.

Very good apartment in centre of Colmar
Excellent accommodation - large rooms , clean and well equipped. Patrick very helpful when we arrived and couldn't find where to park nearby! Although on the main pedestrian only road it is mostly quiet at night when shops close - but can get noisier when cars are allowed from 7pm- 9am. Also with windows open you can hear those late revellers who are chatting as they go home. So take earplugs if you might get bothered by this or close windows. The location is still more than worth it and views from windows are lovely. Take the parking option too since it is underground, secure and beats trying to find a spot ( free or paid)
Suggestion - put a small mirror and place for a hand towel in Wc.
Would stay again and recommend to friends.

Perfect stay in Colmar
We thought this large apartment was the perfect place for us in Colmar. Patrick met us and went over everything. We have rented several places in Europe and this was by far the largest and best equipped. Many small touches, especially in the kitchen with a few basics like coffee, filters, salt, pepper etc. We especially liked being a few streets off the most touristy area yet only minutes from restaurants. Take advantage of his parking arrangement if you have a car. Monoprix is a few steps away-so convenient. Would not hesitate to stay here again if ever fortunate enough to return to Alsace.

Great location and a great host
After a warm welcome by Patrick we found the apartment as described. It was very clean, very tasteful colours and decorations, and it had all amenities we needed and a lot more. It is centrally located in the pedestrian zone, so that everything that we as tourists were interested in was within walking distance. An absolute plus is the parking garage nearby. So we enjoyed our stay very much.
