Nice villa with a magnificent view over Calp and the sea, nice and large pool and outside garden area. The interior and kitchen utensils could use some updating. Unfortunate that the upstairs terrasse wasn’t accessible. All in all a good place to spend a few weeks.

A nice sized 2/3 bedroom villa in a great quiet location with large private pool and great views. Pool a little cold in October but that's to be expected - didn't stop is using it. We had a great stay out of season and the weather was perfect. The villa is in a large steep hillside resort of distinctive and unique detached villas overlooking Calpe rock. Great location but a car is needed ideally to get to restaurants and the best beaches- we liked Cala Fustera a small white sand cove beach best of all. Great snorkeling and a nice beach bar. The villa is lovely and has one large bedroom ideal for a couple, one smaller twin bedroom and a dining room which has a sofa bed, and can be used as a third bedroom. Note that you'll need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels unless you choose to hire. There is a nice circular lounge with TV and DVD also French satellite box. Comfortable seating for 4 persons. There are free standing air cooling units but we had no need to use them. The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate and has everything you need. In fact the villa was perfect for our family group of 4. There is a lovely bar and restaurant just around the corner and the food there was great. The owner is so helpful and friendly. Watch out for the mosquitos at the end of the season- we got bitten quite a bit. A great holiday a great villa and a wonderful owner !!!

Our family had a nice stay in this beautiful villa. This villa was suited for a family of five. Everything was as described. We enjoyed this cozy villa with a good sized swimming pool and a stunning view on Calpe. Special thanks to the owner for communication before and during the holiday!

Lovely area within walking distance to bar restaurants and little cafe which sold croissants and baguettes. We had a few problems when we first arrived which were sorted quickly when we managed to contact Ovydio....we had the number but not the Spanish code on our correspondence, so couldn’t get through without a lot of hassle. The garden was in shade from about 5pm but it was still warm enough to stay outside. As all the information was in French, we couldn’t read it but we still had a lovely time. Thank you Alain.

A good house with a very very nice pool. A perfect place to relax and only a short drive to Calpes beaches and shops. I can recommend Alain for his help and credibility with this holiday. We hope to come back. Jakob, Denmark.

Very comfortable villa with plenty of space for a couple and two dogs, both inside with a comfy living room, veranda and separate kitchen, but also outside with a well fenced off garden that surrounds the house completely. The owner replied promptly to our emails, before and during the stay, and was courteous and helpful in every respect. Absolutely recommended, and would not hesitate to book again.

Juste parfait, endroit magnifique, au calme, grosse chaleur comme on adore, jolie petite villa confortable et bien placé. La vue est splendide. Piscine génial douche à côté, le jardin est tout mignon. Amoureux des animaux comme nous, idéal, propriétaire extrêmement souple, d'une grande gentillesse qui s'occupe bien de ses futurs locataires en envoyant régulièrement des emails sympa. Super la machine à laver très pratique, grille pain et autre accessoires utiles. Jolie balade à faire au bord de plage et au port, voiture nécessaire. Nous avons passer des vacances inoubliables et c'est sûr vous entendrez parler de nous pour l'année 2012. merci pour votre confiance à bientôt.

Cette location est conforme à son descriptif et la villa est superbe.Tres bien située elle offre une vue imprenable sur la mer et le rocher de Calpe. La térasse au bord de la piscine est bien exposée au soleil des le matin. Nous étions en vacances au mois d'avril et nous avons pu profiter des bains de soleil et de la piscine la température de l'eau était de 18° à 20° en moyenne. C'est une location que nous conseillons et le Propriétaire à l'air sympa.

Avantage : maison située dans un cadre agréable, au calme, avec belle vue. Jardin bien entretenu. Proche du centre et des commerces. A partir de Calpe, visites assez aisées vers le sud, le nord et l'intérieur. Inconvénients : A partir de novembre, le soleil se cache relativement tôt derrière la colline (14h30) et la maison reste alors trop fraiche pour rester sans chauffage. Bien sur, il faut oublier la piscine sauf pour les adeptes de l'eau froide. Il n'est pas possible de faire quoi que ce soit sans la voiture. En fait, il y a bien 2 chambres mais l'une d'elle ne donne pas à l'extérieur mais sur la partie véranda; Nous avons trouvé la maison dans un état de propreté très contestable (poignées de poils de chien(s), tapis recouverts de poils, beaucoup de poussière ). Il y avait des fuites d'eau à plusieurs endroits. De plus, il régnait une odeur désagréable que nous n'avons pas réussi à chasser malgré une bonne aération journalière. Le soleil a été très présent (lever vers 7h45, couché 18h). Le centre ville de Calpé est à visiter à pied et présente quelques intérêts . Il y a une longue promenade à faire en bord de mer , notamment après le port, près du Penon d'I Fach. La ballade à ne pas manquer : la montée au Penon d'I Fach qui est très agréable et aisée jusqu'après le tunnel, un peu plus scabreuse ensuite. Il y a un lieu où l'on peut se connecter sur Internet (avec ou sans portable) en haut du centre ville (entre l'Avenue de Valencia et l'avenue Miro) Restaurant de poisson : "La Cantina" situé à Javéa (poisson frais). Nous avons apprécié le centre ville d'Altéa qui est resté très convivial; également Javéa pour ses espaces ordonnés et ses plages (bordées d'immeubles à hauteur raisonnable). Le guadalest situé à environ 20 km de Calpe est un endroit touristique très visité ; en fait, à part la vue, il présente peu d'intérêt mais il y a beaucoup de boutiques qui ne vendent pas de produits locaux ...qui bordent les rues de ce village. La 3ème ville de la région de Valence est Elche (à 80 km de Calpé), lieu où se trouve la fameuse plus grande palmeraie d'Europe : il faut y aller (visiter les jardins du Curé, entre autres) pour se ballader à travers la ville qui comporte des parcs et une belle basilique. Vous pourrez y acheter des dattes, des figues...
