Gîte is pretty much exactly as listed on VRBO. It is definitely a fine example of rustic French which we loved. Two of the bedrooms open out onto the garden which is delightful - it was hard to beat opening the shutters on our first morning. This does mean that you end up walking through a bedroom to access the outside- not a problem as such as we spent so much time outside anyway but worth knowing. The garden, pool and outside area of this property really is it’s biggest asset. It’s beautiful. Very well manicured and trees are well positioned to allow shade during the hot summer days. There is three sets of loungers/chairs conveniently placed to get sun at different parts of the stay. The pool is approx 1.6m deep and the same depth across the whole pool. Our children loved it especially the inflatable loungers. We used the two terraces at different times of day depending on sun and heat. There is two barbecues which we really enjoyed having as we are used to campsite stays which ban these. Host are welcoming and helpful but equally very respectful of privacy. They live upstairs but the two properties are well defined and you would not really notice they were there. Some feedback- the Wi-Fi didn’t really work at all but apparently this is to be upgraded in the next month. This was not much of a problem for me ( I enjoy the digital freedom) but my teenage daughter used up her data quickly. This is worth noting as it is listed as having Wi-Fi on VRBO.

Appartement au rez de chaussée d'une maison dans un lotissement , il faut passer par les chambres pour accéder à la piscine .Décoration agréable contemporaine, bien équipé . Beau jardin méditerranéen. 2 bémols :des moustiques à foison dès le petit déjeuner ( prévoir des répulsifs , les nombreuses prises antimoustiques , serpentins et bombes insecticides présentes dans la maison montrent que le problème n'est pas récent ) le wifi fonctionne quand il veut et c'est pareil pour la 4G

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables dans cette maison où rien ne manque. La proximité du village permet de belles découvertes et sorties au restaurant; il est possible de s'y rendre à pieds mais le retour est assez sportif car la pente est raide! La piscine est la bienvenue pour se rafraichir et le jardin est vraiment joli. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et se sont montrés très disponibles lors de petits déboires avec notre véhicule. Je les en remercie particulièrement! Le seul bémol à notre séjour a été la présence des moustiques qui rendaient parfois les nuits un peu agitées. Peut être est il possible de rajouter des moustiquaires aux fenêtres?

Dans un cadre paisible et verdoyant nous avons profité de la piscine et du jardin verdoyant et fleuri

Quelques jours passés dans cette charmante petite maison nichée au sein d’un jardin méditerranéen idyllique. Très bien équipée. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen . Der Garten mit dem Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein .Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und nehmen sich jedes Problems sofort an . Besonders die Morgenstunden am Pool mit Kaffee und Croissant haben wir sehr genossen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt . Die Anlage ist sehr ruhig . Vielen Dank .

Angenehm sind die vielen Zimmern, in denen sich mehrere Personen verteilen können. Morgens zu Fuß nach Valbonne zu gehen, um Baguette zu kaufen, ist allerdings nur etwas für gute Wanderer. Dafür liegt das Haus in einer schönen Gegend umgeben von großen schattigen Bäumen.
