Situated in Solana Beach, this charming condo for £319 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Coastal Living at its best! This recently remodeled oceanfront condo will make a wonderful home base for your family vacation in Southern California. Gorgeous, new laminate flooring in the entry way, kitchen, and living room with lush carpet in the bedrooms. Fresh paint throughout and all new furniture, including a sleeper sofa in the living room. The condo features a beautiful faux succulent wall in main room and a big flat screen TV mounted over an entertainment center with "click on" cozy fireplace for ambiance. Step up to the wet bar to pour a drink and head to the balcony to search for dolphins in the surf. Custom canned lighting in the kitchen and living room and new cabinetry & counter tops in the kitchen. Primary bedroom has king bed and second bedroom has two twin beds and a TV (not hooked up to cable). This home is in the popular Solana Beach & Tennis Club. The complex has a year round heated pool, jacuzzi and tennis courts. Delight in the beautiful landscaping as you walk to the beach access gate where stairs take you down to the wide sandy beach. A small coastal town, Solana Beach is known for wide sandy beaches and great restaurants. Check out "Belly Up," a unique concert venue for nighttime entertainment. Surfy vibes, laid back, and pretty, Solana Beach has it all. You're just two blocks to the Cedros Avenue Design District where you'll discover more than 85 distinctive shops, retailers, and eateries that are sure to speak to your style. The condo is within walking distance of a variety of shopping, great restaurants, the Del Mar Racetrack and fairgrounds, and the train to Los Angeles, Oceanside or San Diego. Centrally located in San Diego County, just minutes by car to world-class tourist attractions including the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Petco Baseball Park and Legoland. The Solana Beach & Tennis Club is a non-smoking complex. In accordance with Solana Beach regulations, this property has a 6 night minimum. This unit is not air conditioned. Designated parking spaces in underground garage are narrow and best accommodate compact vehicles. Our properties are cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized in accordance with CDC guidelines. We were delighted with Stubbs and our experience with the personnel there. They were quick to help us out with problems in the unit and they did tell us that property needed renovation. The furnishings are comfortable but the bathrooms felt cramped and dirty and the appliances did not work well. The grill was too dirty to use, there was an ant infestation. The parking stalls for this unit are very narrow-we'd recommend a compact car or smaller if someone is renting. We wanted an ocean view and the ocean didn't disappoint, Solana Beach is a lovely place to stay.

We have rented through Stubbs several times now and the location of all the rentals including this one at Solana Beach and Tennis Club can't be beat. Quick access to the beach, walk to shops and fantastic restaurants. The views of the Pacific are worth the price of admission every time. There are two things that rubbed me with this experience. First, the pool was being resurfaced. This is advertised as an amenity and something I believe I pay for as part of the rental. I was not given a heads up on this and found out as we went to the pool for a swim and seriously disappointed my daughter. You need to give a guy a heads up on this. Very disappointing and frustrating; especially for a child. A simple heads up to your guests and a repeat customer is expected. This is something you should be aware of Stubbs. Second, part of the experience and amenities is the secure, covered, close and convenient parking. We were unable to utilize the garage or parking for the last 3 days due to the other buildings getting fumigated. We were not informed of this by Stubbs until the morning of and literally minutes before we almost were locked out and unable to retrieve our car and move it to the street. We were not even at the condo when Stubbs called. We were at the beach with no service. If we would have been locked out, we would not been able to get the car out as the buildings were fully wrapped. When I contacted Stubbs about my concerns there was no empathy for me as a repeat guest. We were told to find a spot on the street or at the garage across the street, and they were more concerned about how they were affected than me as a guest. I was left to feel unimportant with no option or anything to resolve the issue; a lost amenity that again I was not given a heads up and just about lost access to my car until 3 days after our checkout. Furthermore, I was told that since it did not affect my building that it didnt matter which tells me Stubbs was aware.

The unit is comfortable and clean but needs a little TLC with the older showers, appliances in kitchen and outdoor furniture. There was also an ant problem in all rooms. The master bedroom is spacious and the main room very nice. The unit was clean and the property managers were responsive.

we enjoyed staying at Sea'batical. The space was large and perfect for my family of 4 and the occasional extended family that would come visit us which is why we were in town. Beautiful views, we didn't have great weather but it was still lovely to watch the surf and sunsets. The rental details were easy and we loved having access to the heated pool and jacuzzi.

It would not stay on the track.. The front bedroom had a funky smell. Probably need to replace carpeting it smells of mold.
Overall I say 4 stars. Thank you for the extra shopping we requested. I miss it already. Best to all.

We stayed in unit 212 at the Solana Beach & Tennis club. This unit was well appointed with a nice view of the ocean. We appreciated access to the beach equipment - huge plus! The beach access was very close with the 144 stairs down to the lifeguard beach. Excellent body surfing!! The unit shows a bit of wear and tear particularly in the bathrooms and the furniture. The couch was badly stained. The fake plants were falling apart and dusty. Wasn’t a huge fan of the shag rugs in the bedrooms. The kitchen has been updated. The kitchen floor was updated but uneven thresholds exist that I must have tripped over a hundred times, fortunately never fell. The master bed was very comfortable. The unit was warm even with both fans going non stop. The property is very pretty and beautifully landscaped.

Felt safe in gated community, quiet and serene. Enjoyed heated pool & spa. Secret storage behind mirrors kept counters clean. Only drawbacks were the parking and the black ants in kitchen, living room & 2d bedroom. Rental has two parking spots but both are too narrow & separated by cement columns so can’t use both at once. Also, speed bumps in front of spots so 90 degree turn is impossible. Requires 3-4 skillful maneuvers back & forth to get in. Spot on left has water pipe leaked salt on car. Found ant spray under sink which helped but couldn’t totally get rid of them; we put all food, even potato chips in fridge. Ants didn’t bite but such a nuisance, especially when packing to leave & discovered they got into the hamper of dirty clothes! Same ants all over the complex, so I don’t blame owner or manager. Was bargain at $198 per night, booked during Covid, stayed March Spring Break. I suggest adding more comfortable balcony furniture and updating rusty shower door frames.

We had frozen food with us...so they allowed us to put our frozen food away...and that worked well. We did notice an ant situation ( lost our Easter morning turnovers to an army of ants) despite many ant traps. After contacting the office, they delivered fresh ant traps to the front door; after I opened and installed them, they got the job done!

Overall the stay was great! Place was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with beach gear. Close to lots of restaurants, the beach, and easy access to the highway. The community pool/hot tub was a big plus!
Only complaint was that I had to call Stubbs twice because they weren't processing my payments on time. Never had that issue other rentals.

Beach is a great walking beach. Not too sandy not too wet. There is a wonderful beach dog park probably 1/2 mile south. Property sits high above on a bluff. Unit 212 had probably a 130 degree ocean view. The inside of the unit was fairly small (1100 sq feet ish) with 2 bed/ 2 bath. Kitchen small. But everything you need is there. I would stay there again.

Comfy beds and well-stocked kitchen. Most of the condo was redone, but not the bathrooms. Both bathroom sinks had a horrible rotten egg odor when you turned on the faucets. The balcony was nice but the furniture was uncomfortable. Desperately needed cushions and chair and lounge pads. Washing machine is old and tricky to operate. And how can you call that small glass enclosure a fireplace?
