About this house rental

Nestled in Orleans, this charming house for £496 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This beautiful, spacious cape home is terrific for families and couples alike. The open floor plan on the ground level (with kitchen, dining and living room and fireplace) and the large deck is perfect for relaxing, dining and entertaining. The house has a beautiful view of the water and you can walk down an use the private waterfront. It is set back from the road, so it is very quiet, safe for kids, and private. It's a peaceful oasis. If you come as a couple, you will have plenty of room but won't feel as if you are rattling around in a huge house. The ground level has the kitchen, living and dining areas, bathroom, as well as a deck. A second couple or family can have total privacy in the lower level with a light filled bedroom with Queen bed, a sitting/TV area and a 2nd bathroom. Families may want to use the well-furnished lower level as well. This has two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with 4 twin beds (one is a day bed with trundle.) Between them is a comfortable living area and bathroom. Outside is another huge deck and outdoor shower. The path down to the waterfront is next to the lower deck. You can also relax and play on our private waterfront on Town cove, an inlet from the Ocean. There is a small patch of sand for sitting and the the water is great for swimming, boating and fishing. Other wonderful local swimming options are Nauset beach on the ocean, Skaket beach on the bay, (both just a 7 minute drive) Crystal Lake (just a few miles away) and the ponds at Nickerson State Park, also just a ten minute drive. We can accommodate up to 10, with a maximum of 6 adults. We do not generally rent to larger groups of adults. Keywords: House, Cape style, water views, private beach access

We loved our stay at Ruth’s home on the cape. It was a rainy weekend unfortunately, but the indoor space was wonderful for a group to hang out in, and we enjoyed the screened in porch off the master bed room. Ruth was an amazing host and very communicative which we greatly appreciated. It is a very well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed cooking in it. Would highly recommend!

The house was ideal for two of us for a February weekend break. We had plenty of space to relax and watch the birds. The fireplace was a joy in the evenings. Easy access to local trails and snow-covered beaches on both the bay and ocean sides.

This rental suited our family needs. We have a handicap family member, mostly using a walker and wheelchair. The only issue handicap-wise, is that the toilet on the main floor is not chair height. It is lower than he was used to, but there was a grab bar which was very helpful. The place was beautiful and Ruth is so easy to work with. She is very communicative and helpful. She even left us a bottle of wine to start our vacation with! We would definitely stay here again. Orleans is a lovely area!

This house is very nice I would recommend it. There is plenty of room to invite friends and the greatroom area is spacious. It’s a very private location and super close to all the beaches. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a lot of fun being able to cook and hang out in the living area without feeling crammed in, loved the open living concept, full of breeze and light. We also enjoyed the exterior decks, grilling, sitting inside the screened porch for dinner, and even using the lower rear deck for a yoga session in the morning. Overall, the house is very comfortable and welcoming for a large group of people. We also enjoyed the location of the house and its proximity to Nauset Beach. We brought our own bikes and were able bike to the beach in 15 mins. Most of the bedrooms were located on the ground floor of the building, where it was much cooler but felt a bit damp. There is a dehumidifier running all day but can become an non-issue if you open the windows and doors to let fresh air run through. Ruth was very communicative and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. Thank you!

My family and I stayed at this lovely home in late August to attend my niece's wedding. The home was so well appointed! The rooms were large and very clean. We were a group of 7 and were more than comfortable with the amount of space. We spent most of our time on the outside decks. My mother has a breathing problem so it was important to have air conditioning in our rental - there was a unit in each room! My husband is a gourmet cook and we are used to bringing our own cookware - it never got unpacked - this home had everything! I would highly recommend this home for a large amount of guests!

Our stay at this Orleans house was great! The house was spacious and comfortable for our party of seven. The kitchen had more than enough tools to prepare a feast every evening! Dinners on the deck were relaxing and peaceful! Make sure you go on the whale watch out of Provincetown! It was awesome! All the comforts of home plus more! Would go back in a heartbeat!
