The room was as advertised and enjoyed the park across the street immensely!!! Great stay at a unique spot on the point just north of downtown! Would stay again!

Located across from a park overlooking the bay. We had coffee every morning in the park. A beautiful location.

We had a great stay at this location. Loved the views at the park across the street and the community was very peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated nicely. Dan was helpful and generously shared some of his special hot sauce. Our week was truly relaxing and enjoyable.

Location is fantastic! Close to water and bike path, easy bike ride to Old Port amd restaurants, sites etc. Apartment is basic. Very clean but very few amenities. Noisy from foot traffic in the mornings.

We loved that the property was clean and walkable to downtown! The only problem during our stay was all of the construction in the area. Had we known, we would have changed our location or date of travel.

We had a great stay in this studio on the Eastern Prom. You can see the water from the unit! Dan was a great host. He was super nice and friendly, but he gave us space and let us do our thing. The unit was just as pictured and felt very clean upon arrival. Overall, would recommend and hope to come back soon!

We have been to Portland many times and prefer staying in the more residential East end rather than more crowded Old Port. This unit on the Eastern Promenade is easy walking to shops in Munjoy and Old Port while providing a great view of Casco Bay and easy on-street parking available in front of unit. Clean and well appointed, looked exactly as advertised. Dan was a terrific host and unit was exactly what we were hoping for. We will definitely be back on next trip through.

Had a very nice stay. Place is as described in great location. Can walk to beach, walk along the water and short walk to downtown. Dan communicated well and was very responsive. Nice guy! Have to try his Captain Mowatt’s hot sauces. Good stuff!

Owner is friendly, with great suggestions on things to do. So much you can walk to, whether the ferry to other islands, the park, walking trail, or downtown restaurants and bars. The property has great views of the water and is located on a waterfront park. We loved taking walks each morning!

My husband, dog, and I had a great stay at Dan’s place over the 4th of July! It’s in a nice residential part of town, so it was nice and relaxing but a nice walk or quick cab ride to downtown. The views can’t be beat! We had a great time walking the promenade and exploring the city. Check-in was easy and Dan was very reachable for any questions during our stay. We would highly recommend a stay here! Plus, Dan’s got some great hot sauce to sample :)

Great location for our 3 nights in Portland. The place overlooks the Eastern Promenade, a 68-acre park next to the ocean perfect for running, biking, picnics and walking our dog. At most a 10-min drive into downtown. Apartment #2 is super clean and has a great view of the sunrise over the water from bed. Dan, the owner, was very helpful, always responsive over text/phone and is just super nice, giving us great ideas of things to do for our first time visiting. We did everything he recommended and loved it all: taking Casco Bay ferry to Peak’s Island and renting a golf cart to explore the beaches; checking out Fort Williams lighthouse; and lobster rolls at The Lobster Shack near Two Lights State Park. Fun to explore around downtown as well. We loved the whole experience. We will be back!

Dan has done a great job. The location has a great view of the harbor and The ambiance of the neighborhood is tranquil. The house is quaint, with the unique character of New England. Close to the shopping/dining part of Portland and views of two lighthouses and Fort Gorges.

Our experience in this wonderful apartment and Portland was great. We were very comfortable. It was great waking up in the morning to views of the bay from bed. The town of Portland was over the top fun. We saw so much on our first trip to New England.

The view of the bay was spectacular. Dan, the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property for your stay in Portland.

We stayed here for three days and loved all of it. It’s a nice quiet area and very close to the water. We enjoyed the walking trails, and Dan was very considerate. I would definitely stay here again. We loved it!
