Located in Sanibel Island, this charming condo for £168 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We are back! We are ready to welcome guests to our Sanibel paradise! New Photos coming soon! Loggerhead Cay does still have some ongoing renovations with contractors onsite. The elevator in Building 1 is not operational yet. It is expected to be completed by late February. This condo, Unit 172, has GREAT views of the beach! We are less than 75 yards to the beach. Listen to the waves from the condo! It is conveniently located between the beach and the pool. View the Gulf of Mexico from the sofa or enjoy the views & breeze on the lanai with comfortable seating for 6. High speed Wifi. 42" Smart TV in Guest room. 32" TV in primary bedroom. Freshly decorated bathrooms. Nautical theme in guest room great for kids and adults alike. Kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dinnerware and cooking utensils including a crock pot. Blender and a smoothie maker for a refreshing drink. Extra ice bins in the freezer. The FlexBrew coffeemaker allows you to brew a carafe of coffee or use K Cups. Our beach cart, beach chairs, and cooler on wheels make a day at the beach a breeze! Plenty of beach toys, shell nets, and some fishing gear. We have a new shell cleaning station along the beach path. Check out the new deck with seating close to the beach. . New grills are located between Buildings 1 & 2. Tennis & Pickle ball courts are scheduled to open in late spring 2024. Pickle ball paddles available at the clubhouse. Our condo at Loggerhead Cay offers great views of the beach from Building 1 which is one of the few buildings on the island this close to the beach! Located between the pool and the beach you can keep an eye on the entire family. The large heated pool offers plenty of seating, umbrellas, and a patio area with tables and umbrellas for an afternoon snack. This condo offers easy access to the beach and pool and is located near the elevator and stairs. Bike racks any kayak racks are provided. Reserved parking is located in front of the unit with guest parking nearby. 24/7 Answering service for any concerns. The lock is a key code. An additional deadbolt is available added security & privacy. There are 2 public golf courses nearby. Loggerhead Cay has 2 tennis/pickle ball courts available without a fee. BBQ grills, shuffleboard, and bags game also available. A newly remodeled clubhouse is available for use for large groups. If you enjoy hunting for shells you won’t be disappointed. We drove out to Captiva several times for lunch and I would recommend it. The traffic seems worse that it truly is. There are traffic control cops keeping everything moving at the busiest times of the day and it really works. You can also avoid the main road a lot of the time from this location. My wife and I would strongly recommend this condo to any of our friends.

The unit was clean and decorated well. It was so nice having the storage closet so no sandy items had to come into the unit and it was stocked well with everything we needed for our trip!
The owners sent a very detailed and helpful email prior to our visit with wonderful suggestions of activities and restaurants! We trekked several of their recommendations and they were all a hit!
The kitchen was pretty well stocked but my one suggestion would be to add a cookie sheet (there were none). Other than that we had all the pots/pans/dishes we could need!

The condo was lovely and had the most perfect location! It is one of the closest buildings to the beach with a beautiful ocean view and is also very very close to the pool. We loved this property- we lived on the screened in patio with the fabulous view of the gulf. We stayed in this area almost the entire time we were in the condo.The main rooms are all generously sized and more than enough for 2 people. The bathrooms are small and a bit outdated but everything else was great!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway
The property was exactly what I was seeking- I spent my morning before the preteen and teen got up on the lanai with my coffee, feet up, listening to the waves, or going for an early morning walk along the beach. We spent half our days at the beach shelling and hanging in the calm shallow warm waters just steps away from the condo and the other half split between Lighthouse Point beach and Manasota Key Beach (hunting for Shark teeth). The complex has a great pool that was large enough to stay socially distant and still enjoy some swimming time away from the sand. The Condo had a nice big kitchen with a refrigerator with an ice maker with a double catch bin so plenty of ice all week- even a slow cooker and a brownie pan- which we made use of! and a great washer and dryer for cleaning the saltwater out of your bathing suits and towels. There are plenty of books if you run out and some games and puzzles. Additionally, the storage unit was filled with fun treasures for hanging at the beach- sand toys, cooler, chairs, fishing supplies, umbrellas, and the super important beach cart for getting everything there and back. We brought most of our food, but we did dine out (outside seating) at Island Cow and had some fabulous Crunchy Grouper Tacos.
We also ordered take out Pizza and Pasta Alfredo from Dante's Pizza (7 min walk from the condo) and a DQ treat one night. The only thing that would have made it better for the kids was if the TVs were smart tvs and we could have accessed our Amazon Prime/ Hulu/ Netflix accounts to watch some movies at night. If you are like us and not cable/ real-time TV watchers- remember to bring your Roku.

Fantastic Views!!
Fantastic views! You can see the gulf and pool from porch. Quality bedroom furniture and mattress and very clean condo. Comfortable living room furniture with views of Gulf from living room too. Commercial grade BBQ’s and pool was refreshing in the afternoon . Owner was wonderful to work with and provided great information about places to eat and the island in general. Loggerhead condos are in great location of island near the causeway with nearby restaurants, shopping etc. We have visited Sanibel for many years, and have stayed at various locations and are very happy we found this unit and are rebooking for next year.

Covid 19 stay
Very nice location with great view of Gulf. Pictures of property were older as condition of unit was so-so. Grounds of the complex were very nice—pool was great. Overall it was good stay, just disappointed that unit needs some refreshing. Owner is just great and so accessible. It was a good visit.

Overall great place to stay!
This was one of the best rental condos I've ever stayed in. It was clean and had everything we needed....including the in-unit washer/dryer. The location was great and we could easily get to anything we needed on Sanibel (Jerry's grocery store, restaurants, etc.). The beach was an easy walk from the unit. I've been telling all my family and friends to book this place the next time they go to Sanibel. It was one of the best trips my son (who's 7 years old) and I have ever had together. :-)

Smooth check in once they found our reservation... Unit was perfect location - 2nd floor mid area - building 1 was ideal! Unit tastefully decorated, some signs of wear and tear but nothing to be upset about. Hint to owner - paint front door entrance way! Beach was clean, other renters were lovely to speak with! Highly recommend....

Wonderful view and location
This is our 4th year at SI and staying at Loggerhead Cay. Every year we have rented a different condo and each place has its own charms. This condo was very nice and we really enjoyed the location to the beach and to the pool. The 2nd floor provides a beautiful view of the ocean every morning. We loved how the 2nd bedroom had a queen size bed and a twin size bed. The storage was nice to keep all the beach stuff there and instead of bringing into the condo. The kitchen had all the things we needed. We really enjoyed this condo and had another wonderful week in SI, the most beautiful and peaceful place. We love it here.

Loved everything about this condo
We loved this condo. The view from the balcony was wonderful, and furniture out there made it a great place to hang out and read. Both bedrooms were very comfortable, with plenty of space for storage of clothes, etc. The condo in general was clean and light, and we especially appreciated the carpet being well-maintained and clean. When we cooked in the condo, the kitchen had everything we needed in terms of pots and pans. Our favorite activity was walking on the beach, with different creatures and shells brought in everyday by the tide. The owner was very responsive to questions and concerns, and we appreciated her helpfulness. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Beautiful condo with great views
It was my first trip to Sanibel and now I’m hooked! The condo was very nice, clean, and had a nice view of the beach. The owner was great to work with and answered all my questions quickly. We had a great time shelling and found some really great ones! We enjoyed walking on the beach, shopping, and eating out. Our favorite was The Bubble Room.
My only suggestion to the owner would be to fix the deadbolt. We couldn’t seem to get it to work.
It was a great vacation and I am hoping to return to this condo again.

Fantastic view, great location
We completely enjoyed our stay in Sanibel at Loggerhead Cay! The location was great and the view from the balcony was heaven. This condo was perfect for me, my husband and my 84 year old mother, who was visiting Sanibel for the first time. (And hasn't stopped talking about it since the day we left.) The condo was clean, comfortable and big enough that we didn't at all feel crowded. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few meals we prepared. There are so many great places to eat on the island that we opted to eat out most every meal. Debbie was very helpful in answering all of our questions we had before, during and after our stay there. This is a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely be back!
