2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Oceanfront Condo with pool
About this condo rental
The condo has a queen in the master bedroom and a full size bunk bed over a full bed with a twin pull out trundle. The condo has central AC and a full size front load washer and dryer. It is located on the first floor, so only one set of stairs to go up. There are two permanent parking spots, one behind the other, directly under my condo on the North side of the building closest to the beach. The kitchen has granite counter tops. There is a large back porch and sling TV and internet in the condo. For a $60 Fee, LINENS PROVIDED(Sheets for as many beds as needed and up to 6 bath towels and 2 hand towels and wash cloths). If you would prefer to bring your own, just let me know after you book and I will credit $60 toward your stay. $100/pet fee, $150/2 pets. Please let me know if you have 2 pets when booking. The pool is open during warmer months. Typically from May until October, so Please ask if its open during your stay before booking If this condo is booked on the dates you seek, I also own a condo at 612 Carolina Beach Ave N., unit 1A(a block north). Pricing is about the same., but no pool and a 5 Br house about a mile down the north end on canal that I rent out too. Pool closes Oct 15,2022!

The location of this condo is excellent! Private beach access right outside and a short walk to the boardwalk and some restaurants. The condo itself was really nice. Very spacious and clean and access to beach chairs and sand toys was a nice bonus. I love that it’s dog friendly also!! The owner was very quick to respond to questions and made sure everything taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable bed and linens, nice updated decor and appliances. Easy beach access. As with all of these types of condos, the interior hallway/stairs are noisy. Was great to be able to bring dog. Only 1 other group was staying in the building, could be tricky if all units were occupied (parking, noise). But would stay here again.

This stay was exceptionally enjoyable. I appreciated the owner's attention to detail in how the rental was set up and furnished for a comfortable experience. I was very impressed with the owner's responsive communication throughout the visit. This was the most satisfying family vacation we've had. I would stay here again.

Great location on private beach access. My goldendoodle had the best time watching the beach from the balcony. I loved reading my book and watching the sea oats. Didn't even mind the day it rained.

This was a clean and comfortable condo. Situated close to restaurants and the boardwalk. So close to the beach and with our pup it was nice to be just steps away from the sand. Comfortable beds and the kitchen was stocked. Including paper towels and toilet paper. Nice and quiet location. Pool was nice.

Staying on the first floor was great and the walk to the beach was short. Everything was clean and plenty of room to relax. The view was beautiful at night. I would recommend staying here.

We booked last minute and it was wonderful! Close to the beach, easy with small children and able to come back throughout the day to let the dog out. Pool was a plus on the red flag days! Beds were decent and the owner provided everything essential. It was nice to not have to bring linen and towels. Soaps and shampoo even available if you forgot yours! Having a washing machine was a life saver! Thank you again, we had the best week!

It was all we needed for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants, rides, and the boardwalk. Parking is tight, but it is everywhere around there. I would definitely recommend this property to others

I gave cleanliness a 4/5 because the floors were pretty filthy when we arrived--not particularly surprising, and I've never stayed in a short term rental that was any different. They did provide a swiffer and pads and we cleaned it up no problem. Furniture is comfortable enough for a week. Queen bed mattress was actually quite nice. AC works well. Fridge is nice, but water pressure out of the fridge dispenser is very weak and water tastes like out of the tap--suspect filter may need changed. We stayed in unit 1A which is one floor above ground--ground level is parking for the upper units. Our parking spot was uncovered just next to the walkway to the beach--I preferred this as other folks didn't need to squiggle their way past our car to get to the door up to the condos. Still have a nice beach/ocean view on the first floor and less stairs to climb. All in all, for a condo that takes pets (we have 2 little dogs), you really can't ask for anything better at this very reasonable price. I would highly recommend for sure--no regrets whatsoever. Plus, host was very nice and responsive to questions (like what kind of coffee maker, etc...).

Excellent weather. Parking a little tight. Had a great time. Carolina Beach (the town) seems to be working very hard to make improvements and updates to infrastructure and the like. Ocean water completely clear, could see the bottom.

We really loved our stay here. Plenty of space for a family of 4 plus our dog. The condo was nicely updated with plenty of amenities for cooking and doing laundry. Location to the beach and boardwalk is unbeatable. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, the state park and piers. Easy drive in and out of the area. My husband is an avid disc golfer and had numerous courses nearby to drive to. We would definitely stay here again!

Andrew is a wonderful host. We had questions both prior to our booking and during our stay and he was always prompt to reply. We really appreciated that! Superb location. You cannot beat being right on the water, and being within walking distance to area attractions and dining. The condo was well appointed and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony both in the mornings and at night. The activity closet on the ground level is well stocked with beach chairs, sand toys, and boogie boards. Our kids enjoyed playing on the beach and shelling. We came into town for a weekend soccer tournament and the condo was only 7 minutes from the fields, which was incredibly convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay Andrew.

The condo provided the perfect weekend getaway for my family. Conveniently located to the boardwalk and private beach access. It was super clean and the large porch was perfect for breakfast and listening to the ocean!

This was the perfect getaway for me and my daughter & our little fur baby. It was peaceful & quiet - except when some youth arrived mid-week and would run up & down the stairs just outside our front door and our dog would go crazy! But the owner can't help that. Would love to come back soon. Watching the sunrise while sipping coffee each day was a blast.

We enjoyed out stay at this property. Just steps to the beach and conveniently located. We had a small issue with the hot water heater and the owner responded right away and had a repairman there quickly. Would recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beach access is so close and easy with only about 8 steps and then flat boards to sandy beach! Home clean and beds comfortable! Loved the ocean view from kitchen! We only had about 7 steps to platform and then another 7 steps to our condo, which made it easy taking dogs out as steps inside building! The owners were so nice with great communication! We would definitely stay again!

We have stayed here before and it was the perfect stay for us once again. We have three little ones sand enjoy our space and this is far enough from the boardwalk to have space at the beach, and close enough where our kids don’t mind the walk. Perfect spot in every way! Andrew is a great host, as well. Always quick with info and very helpful. We will stay again!

The deadbolt is electronic and the battery was dying....a few scary moments 🤣
One toilet took 5-10 minutes to refill.
4 or 5 blown light bulbs.
One thing I would say for any beach VRBO, plan on bringing some basic toddlerproofing stuff with you. This isn't a dig at the owner, or an indication it's their responsibility. It's just tough to keep Little ones under control with doors that don't have childproof locks.
While these things were petpeeves, they didn't warrant reaching out to the host and didn't negatively impact our stay.
