We stayed here during our trip to Niagara Falls to get married. This location is lovely and quiet. It was perfect for relaxing before and after our wedding. We had a few friends and family stay in the area. They all came over after our wedding and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax by the water. The sunsets are spectacular and you can see the Toronto skyline off in the distance. The garden out front is adorable and well tended. There's a winery in walking distance. I can't wait to come back for our anniversary trip!

We were looking for a place close to home where we could escape to relax. This location on the lake was perfect, and so beautiful. The covered lakeside porch was fantastic, even when it rained. Enjoyed watching the lake freighters; being able to view a starlit sky was a real treat for us city dwellers. The interior is lovely, too!

This is our 2nd time around renting this lakehouse and again we were not disappointed!! It’s beautiful inside and outside the view and sitting on the back porch is so relaxing!! Great family time!!!! Dan and Bev are great, we had an issue with the hot water and they had it fixed immediately!!!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!

The Lakehouse is a gorgeous property with updated appliances! We enjoyed the beautiful view and the owners were very accommodating. We look forward to staying there in the future!!

We could not have been happier with this cute home in Olcott. The views were exactly as advertised, spectacular! We spent every spare minute outside by the lake. We were in the area for our niece’s wedding at a nearby winery. My brother and his wife stayed with us. The location worked perfectly for us. The house was very comfortable for 4 adults. Everything was in perfect order. While we didn’t cook much, the kitchen appeared well stocked with everything that you could need. There was plenty of comfortable seating in both the living room and kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and comfortable. The primary bedroom has a gorgeous view of the lake through large doors and windows. Pictures do not do it justice This house is definitely on our list for a return visit.

We needed to find a nice, quiet place to unwind and relax after working so hard. Researching various places, we came upon this jewel! It's a beautiful little house on Lake Ontario, and it fit the bill! The owners Dan and Bev were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. The porch and view from the house of Lake Ontario is incredible! The house is perfect. Great neighborhood. @ 30 miles to Niagara Falls. Wine tasting all around area. We highly recommend this place!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here, found lots of things to do with our son. Neighbors are very close, that’s my only comment. Would stay again!

Absolutely beautiful lake house overlooking Lake Ontario. Well maintained, all the makings of a modern house, very roomy, and with air conditioning to boot (which was fantastic considering the area had a heat wave during my trip!). I don't really have anything to caution anyone on. It was a great week long stay (with dog) with a mix of days just hanging around and days out in the area. If I have to nitpick (and I'm really nitpicking at this point) - I'd call out the white carpets which give me a bit of anxiety as a guest and that the doors tend to stick. The owners live next door and are very friendly if you want to chat but will not bother you. The area you're in has a lot going on for it. It's quiet, serene, and you can just sit back and enjoy a laid down vacation. But if you're going out the nearby Krull Park is absolutely massive and well maintained. Has open fields, tree covered sections, and a lakefront section. Cute shops and restaurants in the area. You're near Lockport & the Erie Canal. You're still pretty close to driving out to several state parks and niagara falls. Side shoutout - if you liked and can eat baked goods go to Kith & Kin Bakeshop in lockport. It's an all gluten free bakery that somehow manages to taste better than any standard bakeshop I've been to. They also have a ton of Vegan options as well.

We were looking for a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing spot to vacation, and we found all of that in the Lake House! The house and grounds are gorgeous, and the views of Lake Ontario (and the sailboats, and the cargo ships, and the cormorants, and the seagulls!) are breathtaking. Sitting in the rocking chairs almost directly above the water is an experience we will never forget. We highly recommend a stay at the Lake House.

The house is in a perfect location for a quiet vacation while being close to Niagara and all the fun activities there. The owner was nice enough to bring the stairs down so my daughter could swim in Lake Ontario and that was a highlight for her. I highly recommend!

After 2 years of COVID separation, my wife and I were able to share a wonder visit with my sister and her husband at this lovely home. The view was fantastic. The home was well appointed, decorated and very cozy/comfortable. We loved the close proximity to all things Niagara and had fun visiting several wineries in the area. We were happy that fall colors arrived later this year and illuminated our hikes with beauty and color. Fabulous place to visit:)

What a lovely property! Upon entry, we were immediately drawn to the magnificent views of Lake Ontario. Spectacular! Then explored the interior to find a gift of 3 hand thrown pottery mugs! Well appointed and thought out. We enjoyed the wildlife for sure. Peaceful and serene. Loved the salmon jumping out of the water and flopping back in! Made me smile. Spent most of our time on the back deck. Close proximity to Niagara Falls which is always awesome. Hey, I won some money at the casino too which was a bonus! Definitely would book again! Stunning views of Lake Ontario. Perfect getaway cottage. We loved it! All that you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay is here. A perfect central location to visit the Niagara Falls area or Canada. Numerous wineries to explore. Owners were very accommodating and great. Hope to visit again next year!

The back porch - wonderful. A week with no a/c or heat - wonderful. Near to lots of different things to see and do - wonderful. Landlords - friendly and wonderful. Peace of sitting watching the lake that displayed a different personality every day - fun. This place feeds your soul. Hope to come again....a fabulous week.
