Perfect house for our family of 7 adults and 5 kids. Fully stocked in every way, no detail was overlooked. We were able to cook every meal at home with no problem, never a need to leave the property. House was immaculately clean upon arrival and the air conditioning was nice and cold. Location was ideal and views stunning. Being beachfront was ideal for the kids who had a blast playing in the sand and morning tide pools while the adults enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the patio. The house is directly next to a public walkway to the beach which did not bother us as we had immediate access to vendors selling items and services we enjoyed, but I could see how this wouldn’t be ideal for others possibly wanting a bit more privacy. Rachel was a wonderful host as she was instantly accessible when the unfortunate event of our power going out happened (a transformer blew that affected 3 houses including ours). She took care of us the best she could and refunded us the day that our power was out. We absolutely will stay at this house again, it is a gem for a large group.

My family and I stayed at Hacienda Almas Gamelas for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The experience was everything it was advertised to be in The listing. The house and the beach were exceptional. In my opinion, the hacienda is most ideal for 3 couples with or without kids. The bunk room was great for our kids. The amenities were great and some of the best compared to other places I have stayed. We had more than what we needed or expected. Thank you Rachael, Pete, and Luis for everything. My family is grateful for the experience and would definitely stay again.

We wanted something that we could go to and not have to leave. The place was perfect. We just chilled on the beach or on the porch and only went out to eat once. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the common areas were big enough for our whole family to congregate. Peter brought us everything we needed and even brought jet skis right to the beach in front of the house. His business card is in the guest book. Bring water shoes for when the tide goes out. Locals came and gave great massages right on our patio for a great price. Lots of vendors came by offering their products and services but none were pushy or obnoxious. Very enjoyable stay!

I’m going to leave an HONEST review… Online pictures can be very deceiving. Upon check in our first view of the property was the courtyard it was not swept and had lots of debris. Cleaners were also still there when we checked in. Our first look at the property and I could tell the home was very run down and needed lots of love. Half the drawers in the kitchen would not close properly. Also the main sliding glass doors didn’t open very well they had tons of sand which made them difficult to open. We tried sweeping out the sand but that didn’t help. The bottom main restroom toilet seat did not fit the toilet. Also the shower had tile chips at the drain that if u weren’t careful u could easily cut yourself in which I did! The main master bedroom shower had the same issue. The main master bedroom had issues with the AC the first time it stopped working it took them 8 hours to fix. The next day we had the same issue! Which kept us home all day to wait for the repair people. Since we were not comfortable leaving all our belongings while strangers where coming in and out the home. Upon the men leaving I asked them what was the issue. Seems tho the thermostat was not working properly. Either the AC was blasting LOUD freezing cold air non stop or it wouldn’t work at all. So we just covered up very well at night. The sliding glass door handle in that bedroom fell off upon trying to open just fell off all the screws were completely lose. Also the bottom kids bunk bed room was very hot but the ac was working properly I just think that room vent didn’t get enough air that way. They show a hammock online on the patio but all we’re provided was a skeleton on the hammock not the actual hammock to lay in. Home is located right next to a public beach access so the whole beach area in back of home was littered with tons of trash and beer cans. It was a very long 5 days to say the lease! Not the picturous beautiful home you see online. We would not be returning to rent the home again.

The home is right on the beach and we saw dolphins in the morning. The tide is low in the morning making it perfect to look for ocean critters on the reef. We felt really safe & comfortable. Absolutely perfect we can’t wait to go back.

House was perfect for our group! Beach is rocky when tide is out, which makes it perfect for kids to find sea creatures in the tide pools. We saw dolphins swim by almost every day while drinking our coffee on the patio. Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay here. It was everything that was described. Well stocked, great main room for families/groups. Lots of sleeping arrangements- again, great for multiple families. The part of the beach the house is on is rocky so I’d bring water shoes/socks for walking in the water.

Absolutely Loved our stay at Hacienda Almas Gemelas! Everything was as advertised! Only two things we discussed that would have enhanced the experience, 1) DirectTv or some other satellite TV, and 2) the beach directly behind the house probably had the most coral/rock we have ever seen than any other section of Las Conchas we have ever stayed (about 8 properties)

The rain coming in was a slight problem but the many towels available took care of the wipe up and no one got rained on. Luis came right over when we needed more water. Loved the fireplace especially the first night when it was raining.

Overall we loved the house. It is very spacious and worked great for two families. Lots of seating in living area, nice covered patio, ocean views from 3 of 4 bedrooms and all the beds were very comfortable with soft, beautiful linens. Inside the house was very clean when we arrived. They allow dogs and the front yard is secure so we could let them outside w/o supervision which made life easier. We did have an issue with check in - the caretaker did not get the message that we were arriving and we got there at night to find the front gate locked. Eventually we were able to to contact him with the help of a neighbor, and he arrived quickly to let us in. The owner was very apologetic, but because they didn't know we were arriving they had pained the house that day and there were paint scrapings all over the outside. The owner sent someone to clean outside and the windows the next day but was a bit intrusive having her there for several hours (especially with dogs). However, the owner allowed us late check out on our last day to make up for it which we appreciated. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely rent this house again as it is very comfortable.

Spent Thanksgiving week at this property. Accommodated all of us well. The house is beautiful, with everything you need and plenty of space to spread out! We enjoyed family dinners at the spacious table, games and puzzles at the smaller table and living room. The kids enjoyed the TV, which are in every room. Beds are comfortable and rooms are great size. Kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need. The views are spectacular! The patio is huge and has so much seating, we never needed our chairs we brought "just in case". Getting into the house was simple and everything was explained in detail. My only complaint was the day we had a storm roll in. The rain and wind was intense, I've never experienced a storm like that in the 12+ years we've been visiting Rocky Point. Obviously the weather can't be controlled, however, the house leaked water from the ceiling and small cracks in the walls in the downstairs bedroom off the patio. I was woken up to water dripping on my face. Water puddled on the floor due to leaks near the window and slider. The balconies on the upper floor slant slightly towards the house which caused water to seep in through sliders and into the bedrooms. Thankfully we had plenty of towels but the rugs were soaked. Water also came in through the downstairs sliders as well and one, off the kitchen area, came off the track due to high winds. We called the caretaker the next day to assess everything. He never showed but cleaners were sent to help with cleanup which was very nice. I worried my security deposit would be used and hope we are not held liable. That storm aside, we had a wonderful time and would most definitely rent this property again in the future!

We rented the property for a family get-together and were satisfied from beginning to end with the whole experience. Communication with the property owner was excellent and any minor challenges which came up were quickly resolved. Additionally, the property itself was quiet and the beach experience was excellent. We fully expect to rent this property again in the future.

Perfect access to beach! Property was clean, had plenty of bath towels and beach towels for everyone. Has wifi, cold AC, fans and has a water cooler dispenser machine so no need to pack in bottled water. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice and quiet residential area with security, they were constantly on patrol, felt very safe. The kids were still able to enjoy the banana boats and jet skis in this area, also got bracelets and frutas down at the beach. Rachel was so easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. Would recommend this property and we would stay again!

We really enjoyed our time here. Rachel was always ready to answer our questions and was super friendly. The house is fantastic and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Certainly recommend.

The house was great for our family, however we didn't know that there was good drinking water available and the coffee pot does not work. Otherwise nice house, beds are comfortable as well.

Property was as expected and as described. For the summer months in Puerto Penasco, the Air Conditioning worked GREAT. Location was close to entry of Las Conchas, which was convenient. "Kid's room" was an amazing bonus with Wifi/interntet TV available for them to watch. Propane grill was in exceptional shape and ready to use. Owner and local property manager available for any requests/questions with QUICK responses. Will definitely contact Peter again for homemade tortillas and bean burritos! My family and I stayed at this beautiful home for Mother’s Day weekend. It was amazing!! Rachel’s house is absolutely gorgeous, location was perfect, house was clean, organized and well equipped with cooking supplies, towels, etc. One of our family members is in a wheelchair, the open space was awesome. We look forward to our stay next year!! 💖�
