Perfectly sited apartment that is well provided with all facilities for a reasonably long stay.

It was a self-catering apartment. I called a given telephone number to be given the code for the key box. Location was perfect for me arriving by train. It is very close to Groningen Museum and also other key sites of Groningen.

The technology was a bit perplexing. The coffee/hot water machine was only available in German but solved by trial and error. Similarly the tv was not immediately east to comprehend/operate. The location is close to the main police station and on two nights I was awakened by police sirens. The University of Applied Sciences is also not far away and it seemed that young people chatted and socialised in Prinsenstraat most evenings. Neither of these interruptions affected my enjoyment of the stay. The furnishings include animal skulls with antlers on the wall, cow skin on the floor and a fur rug on the sofa, a chandelier made of antlers. As a vegetarian I would have preferred they were not there.

Right price, right location. Charming and comfortable.

Location is excellent. We were able to park very near by. Laundry helpful.

Excellent location & facilities but extremely noisy

location, facilities were excellent!

Noise levels from neighbouring properties resulted in continued broken sleep. Earplugs recommended!

We were very tired and very pleased with the comfortable bed and room air conditioning as it was a very hot day.

Checking in was a little confusing but all worked out .

opposite to what I expected.

good location

Dark, and not my kind of decor. I don’t like animal skins and antlers everywhere, nor boxing gloves hanging on the bedroom wardrobe. Come on!

close to city center and train station

entrance door need to be fixed, it was a struggle to open it from the inside there are probably some student houses around which party until late in the night , indeed not all night they stop around midnight :)

Exceptional

we went to Groningen for a Wedding, and this place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay there: excellent location, comfortable beds, nice living room, spacious bathroom, and even an iron for the clothes! Definitely 10/10! Communication with the host was easy vía whatsapp and call. He was friendly and nice.

Wonderful stay in a comfy and cozy B&B in one of the best locations in the city.

Great location, very comfortable space with complete facilities. Everything was provided and I felt at home. Robert was very helpful and always so nice.

Very thin walls, so the upstairs neighbor’s movements were always heard throughout the day and night. Robert could also be more communicative if he wants to stop by (there were two occasions where he dropped by unnannounced - once to switch lamps and once to show someone around the property…)

Everything was perfect, definitely suggest to book this property for your stay at Groningen!

The apartment was very clean, warm and the location is perfect - right at the city center. We arrived very late due to the train delays and the host was very understanding, even met us by the property to say hello. My mom and brother stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with everything, will definitely book again!

Excellent location but I would not come back

The location is amazing, right at the center, there are a lot of stores and restaurants close by. The bed is very comfortable.

- If you travel for work I definitely do not recommend this place. There are a few apartments in front and above that are rented by students. They are super noisy until very late, they were shouting and making noise until at least 3 am. When you need to work the next day, this is a big issue as I was not able to rest properly and is having an impact on my work. - It is a bit claustrophobic: you can't open any of the windows without having a bit of privacy. It is very annoying having people right at your window. - The kettle was very dirty inside so I did not dare to warm water for tea. - I asked for a parking location and the owner took me to a place that is not allowed to circulate. I appreciate that he gave me a solution but I really hope I will not receive a fine because my car was not allowed to access that specific area of the city.

Cozy apartment in the center of Groningen

The interior design is cool, I love it. It looks better than the pictures. The apartment is cozy for a few nights. The location is top! Check in was also easy.

Part of my blanket smells like woman’s perfume, not sure if it was changed. Everything is clean though.

Disappointing apartment. Ok for friends trip. Good location.

The beds were confortable. The location was great! The kitchen amenities were good.

The apartment had a very weird smell. The couch was broken and very uncomfortable. The check-out time is also way too early. The shower pressure is very poor. The towels were so washed and hard so better take your own ones. The apartment is right in front of a students house so it can be quite noisy in the night (even during curfew).

Was in the whole of our worst travel experience

Nothing Was in the whole of our worst travel experience.

We waited for 45 minutes on the street because no one had come to deliver the house. All beds and towels were dirty and full of leck Inside the oven was full of fat. Kitchen dishes were often cracked and very dirty and we had to washed them all But for each booking, 17.5 euros is paid for cleaning. We were unable to sleep, so that neighbors were very noisy. The lock is corrupted in the entrance and its open and closing it is very hard and there is no sense of security. Speed wifi was very low Television is very old and you can not see YouTube and Net Felix. Was in the whole of our worst travel experience

Nice spot, good location

Excellent location. Good price. Friendly and helpful host. The breakfast was great (bit much for one person).

The water pressure of the shower is poor (especially the large shower head). Minor detail: I liked the apartment on the pictures shown better, then with the current decorations (e.g. Christmas stuff).

A great deal

It is centrally situated and very close to the train station. The appartment is well and nicely furnished: dishwasher, washing machine etc. Everything one needs for a short or longer stay. And the owner was nice, professional and friendly.
