We love Salida, but always go in the summer. We wanted to stay in town, near the park and trails. Dan’s place was perfect for that and allowed us to bring out dogs too. Comfortable spot, nice yard, convenient to walk to everything. We will hope to stay here again on our next trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was most accommodating. We loved the layout of the house and it had everything we needed, including all cooking utensils, seating areas inside (den, dining rm and bar top). We loved the quiet outdoor patio for sipping wine and having snacks. We will be staying again.

Had a great stay for a week at Dan’s property. Very comfortable and well stocked. I needed to work off and on and the WiFi was fast/excellent. Enjoyed walking a few blocks downtown to several excellent restaurants and great hiking less than an hour drive away. Dan was very responsive and went out of his way to see if there was anything I needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

We’ve been to Salida a few times before, but staying a block away from downtown and the river in Dan’s house was a really special experience. We also loved having a backyard for the pups (though we were out exploring so much we didn’t get to utilize the great patio setup back there!). Thanks again for the hospitality, Dan!

This was our 2nd time renting this townhouse and we were just as happy. It’s such a nice perk to be able to walk the neighborhood which will lead you to a quaint downtown and then a walk along the Arkansas River with Mountain views.

If you are looking for a downtown Salida property at a great price, look no further. Historic masonry home, a few mins away from river and downtown restaurants. Well kept, well stocked, with attention to details. Really comfortable beds. Very happy with our stay.

The property is very close to downtown Salida, on the river, which was very convenient and enjoyable. access to Monarch Mountain is within 20 minutes. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and the beds are extremely comfortable. All in all accommodations were outstanding for the price and we would definitely recommend anyone to have a stay here!!

This place worked great for our young family of four! The house is so clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Loved being able to walk my two littles two blocks to the playground, river and fun shops! We loved the cuteness and old vibes of Salida! The deck and fenced backyard was great for the kids to run around. Very quiet street and neighbors. Beds comfortable, showers hot! Would totally stay here again. Dan was a great host and easy to communicate with.

Great location. Sparkling clean. Very comfortable with a kitchen that’s well stocked for cooking and a choice of a counter, table or deck for meals. Quiet with thick brick walls. A couple of blocks from the river and all the action but situated in a quite neighborhood. The owner, Dan, called to be sure all was good and comfortable. We will be back.

This property is extremely clean and comfortable and it’s in a great location in Salida. We used it as our home base to go rafting, horseback riding, hiking, etc. Everything is about a half hour away. And downtown Salida is just a 5 minute walk.

The perfect getaway
We stayed here for a long weekend vacation in Salida. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, a back porch with a grill, and everything we could have possibly needed. Great location that is a two minute walk to the river. Dan was very easy to get in contact with and was a fabulous host! We hope to stay here in the near future again. Wonderful!

Best Place to Stay in Downtown Salida
We attend the Salida beer fest every year, so we’ve stayed at many different places over the years. This place was our favorite! One block from riverside park, yet very peaceful and quiet at night. Impeccably clean and well organized, and the beds were very comfortable! We loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and evening card games. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need if you decide to cook (but local restaurants are incredible) Dog friendly and cool, chill owners next door. Thank you Dan for allowing us to enjoy our family and friends at your beautiful place! We love Salida and love it even more after staying here.

It is in a very nice qaint neighborhood.
Perfect location - it is a block from a large park and the Arkansas River. It is also a block from downtown. Very convenient.

Amazing Stay
Dan was so wonderful and easy to communicate with, and the place was clean, fully stocked, and close to town! Loved the back deck and tall ceilings. Beds were comfortable, and glad to have laundry in-unit after our adventuring. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect
We had a great stay at Dan's place. Beautiful home, well-appointed & clean. We visited with our 2 pups and the place was PERFECT for us. Comfortable, nice area in the back for an evening cocktail and grilling, and easily walkable to all that downtown Salida has to offer. We'll be back!

This beautiful space of Dan's is a superior place in Salida, Colorado! This place is well appointed and has all the conveniences that you will need. Great back yard patio area too. You can park right in front too and walk everywhere to dining, the park and walk along the River! This was our 3rd time to stay here! Eager to go back. Dan is a fantastic host!
