We now have a wonderful DOCK at Sitting Rock! Waterfront Home on beautiful Lake Chatuge with stunning Lake and Mountain views. The house is located on the shores of Lake Chatuge. Home is about 5 blocks from downtown Hiawassee ... a small town in North Georgia. This is a three bedroom, three bath home. The house will comfortably sleep 8 people. There is a queen sleeper sofa available. The three bedrooms have queen beds. Bath and Sleep linens are furnished. A Washer and Dryer are available. The Kitchen is fully equipped. A Grill is furnished for Outdoor Grilling. There is a wonderful Fire Pit in the front yard. There is a covered Carport. This is a one story house on level terrain. There is a nice yard. The house has RokuTV. The house has Wi Fi. The house has Central Air and Heat and two Gas log fireplaces. To me ... the outstanding feature of the property is the striking lake and mountain views ... a treasure to sit on the front porch and enjoy!

We stayed for 3 nights. Too short. Met my sister and her family up in Hiawassee, Ga for Thanksgiving. Had Thanksgiving at my sister's rental. A 3 story job made to look like a log cabin but not really. Hers was small. The main living area was on the middle floor. We were cramped and hot. The next day was at our cabin. Nice and relaxing. Everyone seemed so relaxed. So much room and plenty of bathrooms. And a beautiful lake to look at while enjoying the outdoors in the large screened porch with plenty of seating area. 2 bathrooms had walk in showers with doors and the 3rd had a tub/shower combo. Can't speak enough about the spacious rooms and just wonderful homy feel. Jack was the manager of the home and great. We didn't need to call him and only met him the 1st night when we got their to get the tour and instructions. He was very thorough and enthusiastic. Really appreciated the extra touch. This is a must stay at cabin. You'll really enjoy it.

Mr. Buck was there to greet us and show us around he was amazing and very helpful not with just the property but the area we was staying in also. This was by far the best experience renting we have ever had. Awesome property.

Tranquility with mountain view
Was very peaceful and relaxing. Could have stared at the view for hours. The dock is a nice addition as well!!

2nd annual tribe ride
Our group rents a place every year for our motorcycle ride. This place by far was the best we have ever stayed at. The view of the lake and screened in porch was our favorite. We loved how close we were to everything we needed. Buck was the best at making sure we got checked in and had everything ready. We will definitely be booking this place again real soon.

Very nice place to stay. Had everything we could possibly need.
Throughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the screened porch but was a tad too chilly to enjoy it. (Maybe consider adding a small heater out there for colder weather.). Even without that, the stay was very very good. The property is convenient to most everything, but still in a quiet and peaceful area.

Peaceful and Quiet
This house was the perfect place for us to have a quiet getaway. The location is very private and has a great view of the lake. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and spent many hours on the screened-in porch watching the birds and the boats. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare meals, the beds are comfortable and there are multiple bathrooms.
It is a great place for a family get together.

Wonderful week in an amazing setting!
We loved having family and friends visit during this week. Enjoyed the sunsets, fire pit and comfortable accommodations. Buck was an excellent host, super responsive and helpful! Hiawassee is on our list of favorite places now. We will be back! Thanks for everything.

location LOCATION location
I knew I would love this property based on its view alone, but it exceeded my expectations. We have an infant son that is in a walker and exploring the ideas of beginning to move about. The single level made this perfect for so many reasons.
The screened in porch in the best bonus to be able to sit and watch the lake activity, fireflies, and rainstorms. We used the fire pit countless times as well.
The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils. We did a lot of cooking and grilling while there.
The location in town was wonderfully close to my family, grocery and walking options. I felt extremely safe staying alone or with my family (as they were in and out of town).
Buck was tremendously kind, helpful and thorough with the check in and for the entire duration of the stay, one month.
I highly recommend this rental and look forward to staying again myself.

A great stay
We really enjoyed our stay ay the House. It as everything you could ask for. The property manager,Buck was right there to greet us and answer any questions. The lake view was excellent and breathtaking sunsets. We definitely look forward to coming back again.

Excellent choice for relaxing
Enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to town but yet you felt like you were out in the country. The view from sitting at firepit of lake and mountains couldn't be beat.

The Lake House is amazing. The views are breathtaking. The house was spotless and so comfortable. Buck was so attentive and readily available for any questions or recommendations. We have already booked our return stay for next year.

Peaceful Rock
The old saying is, “ a picture is worth a 1000 words”. However, it wasn’t true with “Peaceful Rock”. You have to see it! It was better than the pictures and Buck is just amazing. We had a problem and he was true to his word; he was there within 5 minutes. We told Buck that we will definitely be back next year.

Happy Days
This property was spacious both inside and outside. Our grandson loved playing in the big front yard. The public beach was just minutes away and very clean.
The washer and dryer were a bit small. Doing clothes for 5 people meant a lot of loads.
We will definitely go back.

Highly recommend!
This home far exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, and the view was incredible! We enjoyed fishing in the lake, drying our wet shoes by the fire, and relaxing in the screened in porch.

This property provided a uniqe experience. The views and access to ANYTHING is simply amazing.
The accommodations were 5 star and highly recommend them if you have a large party. Rooms are spacious and the area is so quiet. The property is large and roomy and well kept. Every thing you need is on site. If you have a problem the help is just 5 minutes away.

Absolutely Serene Location
Spent nine days here and wish it could have been longer. We felt like we were in the wilderness yet we were walking distance to town. This cabin was absolutely immaculate.......it has been well taken care of. Many things to do in this area and some great BBQ. The property manager greeted us upon our arrival and was available afterwards to answer questions. Am looking forward to returning here sometime.

Lovely setting near the lake and mountain backdrop.
Great place to stay. Located near downtown but feels secluded enough with the locale being near the water. Very hospitable townspeople and our host (Buck) was awesome!! We will definitely be back during the summer time.
