Situated in Ridgeway, this attractive house for £114 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This house is super cute, 2 bedrooms: upstairs, one with queen bed, closet, sofa and coffee table to relax in. The other has 4 bunk beds ; a double bed , dresser, desk and closet. Downstairs: nice kitchen, dining room and living room (with queen sofa bed) , roomy bathrooms.(one including laundry ). Also a piano, so bring your music!! There is a deck outside, fire pit, hot tub, small freezer for the fish! The woods are pretty here, peaceful, a lovely place!!! It is very quiet, you can read, sleep, RELAX!! Be sure and ask me questions. And keys / locked doors are included .......

Perfect house for four fishing buddies. Ode was very accommodating and let us utilize some fishing equipment and a vacuum sealer for our fish. The house is very well stocked and when we had a question, Ode and Rick were very prompt. Enjoyed seeing moose walk through the property. Nice stay!

Odette “Odie” was a wonderful host and greeted us when we arrived. It’s a remote area to get away after a day out exploring. Also lots of deep freezers to store your fish. Great property for a large group. -Almost every property uses well water so be aware that there may be iron in it that turns the shower, tubs, etc orange. -Mosquitoes are everywhere in Alaska, so be prepared. Odette did a great job showing us how to keep them at bay or use a zapper. We, unfortunately, had allergies to cats/dogs and couldn’t stay the entire time so can’t give a full review.

Cute house out of the main part of town. Wonderful hosts! We loved having this place to come home to at the end of all of our adventures. The hot tub was a great way to unwind. Frequent visits from a momma and baby moose. Blackout curtains would have been nice for those of us not used to 24 hour daylight, but we improvised and made it work.

We stayed at the cabin with 4 adults and 4 children. We all had comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and everything we could need in the kitchen. The location in the woods, near town, was perfect! We loved using the hot tub and sitting out on the deck enjoying the long warm summer days. Thank you so much!

Amazing hosts and amazing views. We absolutely loved just sitting out on the deck watching the moose come by. There wasn’t a day we didn’t see a moose. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day. We loved sitting by the fire. The beds were comfortable. All around a great stay, would absolutely stay again!

My wife and I loved our stay here for our honeymoon! We had plenty of space for cooking, eating, and playing! The piano was a great touch and we overall had a great time. Odie was a great host and gave us some spot on recommendations to see local wildlife! Definitely a great place to consider in the Soldotna area!

This was a wonderful stay, in a wonderful, cozy home in the woods. My girls and I really enjoyed the whole experience, and the owners are amazing people, who responded immediately to the few questions I had.

By day: Loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars after a long hike. Fire pit was fun for hot dog roasting. Location was wonderfully rustic in the woods and close to backpacking/hiking trails and fishing. Host was helpful. Kitchen was stocked. By night: Beds and pillows were old/uncomfortable so slept poorly.

First thing we saw when we pulled off the main road was a moose with her baby. The house is in a very private woodsy area but is very comfy and homey. There are a couple of take out brochures as well as suggestions for ordering food to the house, which is very useful and thoughtful. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The firepit and outdoors Jacuzzi were a huge plus for us. Made our stay so enjoyable and we would definitely come back

We absolutely loved staying at this house! It was perfect for my husband, myself, and our 4 kids. Rick and Odie were so nice and wonderful hosts…they even had essentials stocked for us to use! The area was beautiful and we hope to be back someday😊

We loved the location and enjoyed how close it was to town without feeling close to town. Minutes away from everything that Soldotna has to offer. We loved that each of our kids had their own bed. We loved that there was a washer and dryer for us to use. We loved seeing wildlife regularly at the property and while driving to the property. We also utilized the freezers that were there which was super convenient. Rick and Odie were helpful along the way and while we were there. We would stay here again for sure.

I lost track of how many times we’ve stayed here, but it’s always a great experience. It’s the perfect home base to use while fishing or exploring the area. The nice big deck let us spread out and enjoy the evenings while the rest of the house has essential amenities all in a very quiet and private setting. We’re already booked for next year!

We finally got to stay here. Had to cancel our 2020 reservations. Odette was very helpful in getting the cancelation done and the rebooking of the trip in 2021. This was a great place for a party of six (four adults and 2 kids). This was our base to explore the Kenai Peninsula and it was great. Within a few hours of our arrival, we had moose standing in the yard and we saw moose on the road into Soldotna. From here we visited Homer and Seward. Homer about an hour away and Seward about 2 hours. I recommend this property.
