Elk Meadows has a spacious, open floor plan with the living room, dining area and kitchen situated together to form a terrific area to gather with family and friends and enjoy your time together. The kitchen has new, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops; even the most discriminating chef would feel at home in this fantastic kitchen with every conceivable amenity. The propane fireplace makes for a cozy atmosphere while enjoying the large flat screen television with an Amazon Fire Stick. Large sliding glass doors and expansive covered deck allows you to enjoy the mountain air. You will appreciate the marvelous views while you relax; grill a steak on the barbecue or roast marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit. The roomy downstairs family room gives you an additional gathering area to watch your latest binge show on the flat screen television or play a game on the foosball table. Sliding glass doors open to enjoy the great outdoors. The covered patio and hot tub will have your relaxing soak at the end of the day your favorite part of your vacation. Here at Elk Meadows we know that your vacation enjoyment begins with a good night sleep. Elk Meadows sleeps 12. The master bedroom is located upstairs with an attached bath. Downstairs has two large bedrooms with comfortable log queen beds and a great bunk room with a queen bed and two twin size bunk beds. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the downstairs family room. Luxurious bedding is provided. Elk Meadows has three full bathrooms with linens provided. Elk Meadows is ideally located near restaurants, gas stations and the local grocery store. Should you want to play a round of golf; the clubhouse is located just a block from the home. Whether your vacation plans include snowmobiling, atv riding, boating, fishing, hiking or sight seeing – Elk Meadows will provide a wonderful atmosphere for life to slow down and unwind. Cell phones work well. WIFI and Netflix are provided. Elk Meadows is open year around and is conveniently located in a central location. Enjoy some of the area’s best activities within minutes from leaving the lodge. Yellowstone National Park is 25 minutes away. Enjoy record breaking fishing in the Madison River or Henrys Fork of the Snake. Take in the majestic beauty of Mesa Falls or visit Johnny Sacks Cabin and Big Springs just a few minutes down Highway 20. Float trips, horseback riding, ziplines and golf are easily available. Take the time to hike at Harriman State Park and enjoy natures wonders. During the winter, the driveway is plowed and there is ample parking for your trailer and truck. Should you need additional parking, there is a large public lot just right up the road. Island Park is notorious for its snowmobiling and offers something for every riding level. Elk Meadows is a NON-SMOKING and a PET FREE cabin. We are under county ordinances for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health; we ask that you stay within capacity limits, read the burn ordinance and be neighborly!

What a beautiful resort with perfect accommodations. We traveled with 4 couples and had more than enough space. The house had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!

The Home was very clean and had all the comforts of home. It had plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. Very quiet area and a nice place to start your day. The short drive to the West entrance was not bad in the morning and the location made going to the Tetons via Moose-Wilson road a little shorter. Especially if you want to be down there for Sunrise. A five Star experience for sure.

House was beautiful and very clean. Also located in a very nice neighborhood. Enjoyed our time. My only issue, is being required to wash sheets and towels or be charged $100 fee for 6 people takes too much time. We have rented several homes on our many trips and this has never been a requirement.

Clean, well-stocked, and great central location. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. We were able to prepare meals “at home” as spices, oil, etc. was available. The only issue we had was a toaster that would not work and it was replaced after we reported it. I’d go again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. There were 12 of us in total and it walks the perfect size. We loved the 2 sets of living spaces and even 2 tables, one upstairs and one downstairs. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels for everyone, even jacuzzi towels. The jacuzzi was clean. The gift bag of goodies was such a nice thought. The home was very organized and in a beautiful location. We didn’t have trouble washing the towels, we just started a couple loads the night before. Our only complaint was we wish we were able to spend more time here because the house was so comfortable but We were busy with Yellowstone each day of our short stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Home was beautiful with lots of small touches that went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. Views from deck were beautiful and the rooms were all done comfortable and homey. Kitchen was well stocked with any equipment, plates, etc that we could possibly need.

From the moment we walked in, we loved this place. It was very clean, smelled good, well stocked with so many helpful things…like a cooler, bear spray, several ice packs, nightlights everywhere, all the cleaning supplies and items you need to keep it feeling like home, everything you need to roast hotdogs & s’mores at the fire pit. We all slept great. They had wonderful linens, pillows and lots of extra blankets to get cozy after big adventurous days. We had two families with three kids from 6 to 11. The kids had an absolute blast, making the downstairs their own space. It’s bigger than it seems online and just has a very cozy and inviting feel.
We opened the windows at night for wonderful cool air and loved it. The patio is spacious, hot tub was a really nice end to our big days. Everyone was a little sad leaving this morning but so happy for the memories we made here!

We loved our stay. It was our “home base” for trips to Yellowstone but I think the kids enjoyed their time at the house more than at the park! It was clean, and so many little details made the stay extra special. Highly recommend!

This was an exceptionally nice cabin for our stay May 19-26, 2023 to visit Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and Shawna was great with check-in and check-out process. The setup with a Master bedroom on upper floor and 3 bedrooms downstairs with one containing a Queen and bunk beds was ideal for our family. Kitchen was very well equipped. There was a beautiful hot tub on the patio of the lower floor along with fire pit just off of the same patio. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing a rental for the Yellowstone area.

This property was just about perfect! We had a wonderful time! It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I took off a star because, although we knew in advance we were to wash towels before leaving, I hadn’t anticipated what a pain it would be. Rather than enjoying my last night, and sleeping in on my last day of vacation, I had to be the nagging mom to get everyone out of the hot tub and showered. Each load takes an hour to wash and with a big group, it’s time consuming. To think how much I paid for each night plus all the fees (including a substantial cleaning fee), I would definitely look for another rental next time.

The location is fantastic. Driving to Teton is a short drive and getting to town os shorter and easier. We had moose laying in the lawn by the playground one morning and a pine martin visited us right to the rear window.

My husband, daughter and I spent 5 days here. It was very close to West Yellowstone and in a nice neighborhood. The inside of the house is really beautiful. It was clean. The outside yard is the exact opposite - just overgrown weeds, dirt and debris. Luckily, we did not have children that needed a yard to play in. Kitchen was well stocked, though it would be nice to have at least one good non-stick pan for cooking. The clothes dryer gave me fits, even after I spoke with Shawna and was told how to restart it. It was annoying watching the Sling TV because it kept stopping and "buffering". Considering these inconveniences, it was still a lovely place to stay.

We loved our stay at your property. Everything was clean, organized and so nice. We enjoyed the hot tub, the huge patio and the game table as well! The owners were very easy to communicate with and very responsive. My only suggestion is to alter the expectation to have all the towels done before Guest's leave. We had to wait on the dryer to be done before we could leave for our flight. I totally understand having them washed and in the dryer but waiting on them to be completely done was not easy or convenient on our check out morning. Other than that, everything was perfect and so nice!

The only complaint I would have is the stove needs the correct nobs so you dont have to figure which setting it is on, also the ac needs to be checked since we could not cool the house down in warm weather, Otherwise the home was perfect size for our family giving us a very enjoyable time to spend together.

Firstly I am a relative newbie in the VRBO arena. The house was clean inside. However the freezer door handle was broken off(2 years ago from the guest book), 2 of the 5 burners on the stove did not work and 2 of the remaining burner's knobs were broken. The outdoor grill was so dirty a grease fire started in a few seconds requiring me to clean it before I could use it. The fire pit had 3 foot weeds growing in it and the rest of the yard was even more over grown. We arrived Friday night and left on Tuesday morning. The garbage can was full when we arrived. It was not emptied during our stay(supposed to be emptied twice a week in the summer) according to the contract "that is my problem to solve ". Taking "excess" garbage to the local dump and paying fees. The house is rated to sleep 10 and has enough beds for that but before you leave you must wash and dry the towels...do NOT OVERLOAD the washing machine or you forfeit the cleaning fee. Maximum capacity of the washer, 6 towels. The washing cycle is 54 minutes and drying time approximately 1 hour. Strip the beds and leave the sheets in the laundry room in front of the washer.
I am not a slob but after paying a decent price I think the place should be well maintained by the management company and the stove is a fire hazzard.

If you’re looking for a house to stay at while you explore Yellowstone National Park, this rental is perfect! The house is located about 20 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone and was perfect for our entire family of 9. The house was very spacious and we never felt like we were on top of one another. The downstairs was a nice separate area which was good for our adult children. We loved the open floor plan! We could be fixing supper in the kitchen and the other family members could be on the couch or sitting at the dining room table playing games and we were still altogether. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen utensils, dinnerware, pots and pans and glassware. Everything we needed for our large group was there! They had campfire forks for cooking hot dogs or marshmallows for s’mores and they even supplied wood for the fire! Our adult children enjoyed playing games (ones they brought along), but there are games in the one closet. We all enjoyed the hot tub, which was nice to relax in after a day at the park and on the cool evenings. The guys played around of golf on the course that’s right there. The only thing we didn’t like was the tall grass that was around the house and the fire pit area. We also wasn’t able to get the tv’s to work. My dad would have liked to watch tv while we were fixing suppers but we couldn’t get either of them to work. Overall this is a very nice place to rent. If we ever make it out that way again, we’ll keep this rental in mind!

This is a beautiful home about 25 minutes away from Yellowstone perfect to get away from the hustle around the park. Home is very spacious and comfy. Kids loved the downstairs and beds were very comfy. Just all around everything is top notch. We will be back next time we are in the area
