Loved this stay! Highly recommend for a long weekend getaway!
This place is the perfect getaway desert home. The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s roomy and beautiful and clean, and has all of the amenities we needed. Plus, a fire pit which was so lovely to have at night, which we didn’t see In the pics so that was a lovely surprise!
Sue was so communicative and made the check in and out process so smooth!

5 Day Desert Escape
This property was in a perfect location. Near to Old Town La Quinta and golf. Very peaceful and relaxing with attractive décor. The pool and hot tub were wonderful amenities. We will return.

Mother Daughter Weekend
The outside of the property was everything I expected. It was disappointing that there was not a coffee table in the living area as we brought games to play and had to sit around the kitchen table. I was also surprised that the house did not come equipped with basic toiletries, such as bar soap, in the bathrooms. The location was about a 45 minute drive to Palm Desert.

Little Oasis
We loved our stay! We had our 10 month old with us and he enjoyed the pool so much! The house was very clean and so cute with the flowers and the colors. The host Sue was very friendly and great at communicating with us. Also it’s a great location for biking or walking because there is a trail! We would love to stay again next year 😁

Fantastic spot
We loved our stay at the casa pintada. The property was immaculate and Sue was an excellent communicator. The pool and spa heated up extremely quickly and were exactly what we needed for our weekend retreat. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation spot that is still within walking distance to restaurants and hikes.

We had a wonderful stay at La Casa Pintada. This beautiful home is equipped with everything you need for a get away. It is walking distance to the Old Town area with restaurants and shops. La Quinta is nicely located for easy access to Joshua Tree, the Salton Sea and other local area destinations. Highly recommended!

Perfect Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sue was great and the property provides ready access to all the outdoor activities La Quinta has to offer. Hiking, biking, golf, tennis and Old Town are all a short walk, ride or drive. The property is well equipped, artfully decorated and feels welcoming and comfortable. Thanks Sue!

Slice of Heaven
This was a perfect home to truly get away! The property is MORE beautiful than the pictures! We spent our days reading in the pool, and relaxing by the fire table for morning coffee and evening cocktails. There is a third private room that was a perfect office to get some work done. The bedrooms were spacious, and the kitchen perfectly equipped. The location could not have been better. The cute town of La Quinta had amazing restaurants, and anything you could need was within a 10 minute drive! I would definitely be back to this property!

Great house, Great location, Great getaway
The property is just as described, so no surprises here. Simply read the other reviews. What should be noted is how close this property is to numerous hiking trails. Also, the house comes with four beach cruisers, which are SO awesome to bike around La Quinta and the neighboring communities. We were desperately looking for an escape from COVID, and this was exactly what the doctor ordered. We would definitely stay at this property again. Thanks Sue for making my birthday and our anniversary memorable and amazing even during a pandemic! :)

Perfect Honeymoon
We spent our little honeymoon getaway at the La Casa Pintada. The house was everything we needed. The outside pool area was absolutely beautiful, which is where we spent most of our time with most days in 120°!!! We loved the cruisers that we rode everyday and we even took our shot at an early morning of tennis. Sue was an outstanding host and checked in with us and was always available to answer our questions. Thank you for a great stay for our first trip to the La Quinta/ Palm springs area.

Lovely Home, Beautiful Area
My expectations were definitely exceeded by La Casa Pintada. The home is just as advertised, was immaculately clean and had a beautiful pool on a patio with mountain views on three sides. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood, steps away from the Bear Creek Trail.
The host/owner was extremely communicative and their passion and care for the property really shows. I wouldn't hesitate to return the next time I'm in the area.

Perfect getaway!
I needed to get a change of scenery and escape LA for a bit, and this house was 100% perfect for me. I felt safe, secure and Sue was a great host through the full stay. Great location, the pool and all of the details were amazing, everything was very clean and organized, and it was just the perfect escape. I can't wait to go back!!

Great Summer COVID-cation
My wife and I stayed at the house in mid-July. If you are looking for a home with a private pool in La Quinta to escape to, this is the one. This home is very clean and comfortable and is fully stocked with all of the items you may need during your stay – everything. What put the house over the top was that the patio is equipped with a retractable canopy and misters that provide the perfect covering for the majority of the patio and half of the pool. You could sun bathe or stay in the shade and never have to get out. There are gorgeous views of mountains from the patio and the way it is located, the backyard is very private. You feel like you have your own little oasis. The house has many windows and allows in a lot of light. It would have been nice to have window coverings in the upper windows in the master bedroom as it became very light very quickly (not direct sunlight – but bright). Not the best room to sleep in late. Located close to walking and biking trails as well as Old Town La Quinta (less than 5 minutes). Sue was very easy to work with and the entire process was seamless. We would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic getaway
La Casa Pindata was such a cute house, and was a wonderful getaway for our little family. The place was in pristine condition and wonderfully well-appointed for an extended stay. The owner was helpful in getting us oriented to the house and very responsive to questions. We spent most of our days floating in the salt-water pool admiring the surrounding mountains followed by evenings of sitting out and watching the bats flit above our heads. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a change of scenery.

This place has all the necessities stocked and then some. Walkable to a handful of eateries and a park. I have an electric car - there is a charging station a few blocks away. Home is clean and although located on a busy road, we didn’t hear much of anything. We hope to return again.

Wonderful!!
Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pintada. After a few days of hiking, biking, golfing, and driving Joshua Tree NP, one day we just stayed on the back patio all afternoon! The pool and hot tub are so much fun, and the hummingbirds are fascinating to watch. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the blooms that surround the house. The cruisers are awesome! People would compliment them and their cute coconut drink holders as we rode by. Old Town La Quinta is a short walk away, so we strolled up to the Farmers Market Sunday morning, and stopped at Nitro Infusion for a tasty cold date shake. For our first time as a family in the greater Palm Springs area, we'd rather stay in quieter, less touristy La Quinta, and Casa Pintada for sure next time! Thank you Sue!

Very clean, tidy, and in a great location! My husband and I enjoyed staying here. The home has every thing you need. We walked to downtown La Quinta and all around the area. We would love to come back to this home.
