Kihei Sands Condominium sits directly on one of Maui’s best beaches, Sugar Beach. From our oceanfront pool and barbecue patio area you can practically touch the beach - clean, sandy, unpopulated, and stretching for miles in either direction. How far is it to the beach? Literally around 6 feet! Our Patio and lawn areas are idyllic. Enjoy each morning with fresh brewed coffee and each evening watching a spectacular Sunset while you grill dinner and sip a beverage. Kihei Sands is a special place full of the Aloha spirit. Our intimate layout provides the perfect location for reunions, group getaways, honeymooners, seniors, families, couples and friends. With 22 units to choose from it’s easy to find the perfect fit for everyone in your group, from number of bedrooms (1, 2 & 3) to bed configurations. Kihei Sands offers a wonderful alternative to crowded resorts with the intimate nature of our complex offering only 29 units total. To promote the health and safety of our guests and staff we have put into practice an enhanced protocol for vacation rental cleanliness: Kihei Sands Superior Clean. Our new cleaning program meets or exceeds CDC recommendations and aligns with guidance from hospitality industry experts. Our goal is to provide even more support and protection to everyone in the Kihei Sands community. A short walk down the beach you’ll find several eateries and shops, including a Fresh Produce Market, ABC Store, Bakery, Shave Ice, and a small diner. There are numerous dining and shopping options within a couple miles of Kihei Sands. Our central location makes it easy to access all that Maui has to offer. This was a great stay. The condo was comfortable. All the supplies and necessities more than adequate. Morning coffee and other guests were friendly and welcoming. The only four was because this particular condo is not as updated as the others but still comfortable. We will be back and always recommend Kihei Sands to others.

Property showing its age. Quite warm upstairs. Overall, place fit need our needs. Property manager quite approachable and knowledgeable about the island.a nice stay, was very happy with our visit there.

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Plenty of dishware, towels, paper towels, etc... The AC was ok but struggled to keep up during the day. The beds were comfortable and the view is nice. The condo is a little dated and there's a thick layer of dust in some areas but it's right on the beach and a comparable price.

Rented A-8 and B-12 for 2wks this last May 7-21 and both places were great. Good AC in both places A8 is 5 steps to the pool we used the BAR-B-Q's. They have a time to shut off the gas if you for get so super safe. Everything was super clean and had most everything you could need in the condos .they have a coin operated laundry there. We used it twice but ended going to the laundry mat down the street cuz we. Could wash all of are stuff at the same time and save waitting to do individual loads. We all would stay there again. It is mostly car dependent to get around but only a short 5-10 minute drive to food and activities.Great quiet place to stay with the pool and beach ft away.Very nice staff and will help with anything they can. The parking is a little tight but it's that way at all the resorts too. We had a minivan and it was fine.Great quiet place to stay and I would recommend it to a friend

Our condo was perfect! Great location from to the grocery store, airport and even a beautiful playground for our toddler. We couldn’t have asked for friendlier staff! The patio is the best place to start and end your day in paradise. I would highly recommend this place to family and would love to stay here again.

The checkin process was seem-less and did not need to bother Patrick during the stay at all. We loved the welcome basket including the map! When we did the road to Hana, the map came into good use. All accessories in the condo were perfect for when we wanted to cook in. Best part of the condo was leaving the window open at night and hearing the waves crashing and lulling us to sleep. We were just steps away from the ocean and loved the option of all the toys that we could use on the beach and in the ocean. We would definitely stay again and highly suggest staying here!

Perfect paradise retreat

We spent 10 days here and enjoyed it very much. Our unit B12 was clean and comfortable with a kitchen that was very well stocked. We had a view of the beach from our little balcony.The unit was a little dated but still comfortable. Coffee was ready in the morning on the patio where guests sat and visited or took a walk on the beach. Barbeques were available for use anytime. The beach was beautiful and steps from the patio. It wasn't as busy as beaches further down S.Kihei Rd. where the public can park easily on the road or in a parking lot next to the beach. The location was in a quieter zone away from the strip malls and traffic congestion but close to the highway for driving to other tourist sites. It was a 10 min. drive to Safeway and malls on the highway or a few minutes longer on S.Kihei Road which runs parallel to the water. Connie and Patrick in the office were always available to answer questions and the grounds were well maintained. Check in was easy when we arrived at night. We would definitely return for another visit.

I did not meet Connie but Patrick was very very nice and friendly. The location is perfect and gorgeous. We are a family of 4-2 adults/2 kids. The beach is RIGHT THERE so the kids could go down to swim while we packed up for the day or meal prepped (our kids are older). The water there is very calm, more like a bay, which is actually a welcome respite from pounding waves! Good place to land and regroup. It is very centrally located - about 45 minutes from Big Beach/45 minutes from Honolua Bay. They have beach chairs, coolers, beach toys, noodles, floaties, etc. Everything you could need/want. Will definitely stay again and recommend to everyone!

My family rented several individual condos in this small complex and it was perfect for us all to grill dinner together on the patio. My condo (B12) needed updating. The kitchen in particular. Most of the other condos looked much nicer. It was stocked with everything we needed though. The overall property was well maintained and beautiful. The staff were all wonderful, friendly, and helpful.

Second stay at Kihei Sands - this condo B12 is in poor condition, very outdated, poor quality. The location is so great, but owners have not done anything to care for condo. Urine stained mattresses, old dirty drapery, poor quality linens with mattress pads I had to wash and then toss due to urine smells, torn screen door that I had to lube with coconut oil to open, dangerous upturned area carpet in living room that required we use packing tape to keep corners down, broken glass and trash it bottom of dishwasher, very smelly fridge we had to clean. Managers Connie and Patrick replaced our twin mattresses, and called carpet cleaner for queen. Couch so old it made very loud noises each seating. I am sad to write such a review. Expensive mistake.

We enjoyed staying at Kehei Sands and its beautiful location on the beach and beautiful view. Our unit B 12 was comfortable and provided everything for our needs, with a well-stocked kitchen, which made meal preparation easy, and our family enjoyed playing games at the table. Much of our time was spent walking on the beautiful beach and swimming in the ocean and pool. However, FYI, there were a number of areas that need to be repaired. We had to be careful in the kitchen with the loose cabinet door where the garbage goes. There is a hole in the downstairs bathtub, a torn screen on the bottom of the sliding screen door, and the living room rug was not clean. One evening a large painting on the stairs fell with a crash. It appeared to be fine, but it looked like the small nail that was used to hold it up was not strong enough. We heard that the repairman was ill and, regardless of these needed repairs, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Our family get away to Kihei Sands was magical. We had 4 units. Each unit was clean, well stocked and was decorated with their own personality. We could not have asked for better living spaces. The property was beautiful. The pool was delightful, the grassy area with lounge chairs was lovely and there was never a problem getting a chair. The community of guests were friendly and fun to engage with. The beach access is right there and the beach is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, SUPing or whatever your heart desires. The beach is perfect for a morning walk or run. We saw turtles each morning on our walk. They have a great S’Mores night on Tuesdays. It is very close to everything we wanted to do. If that isn’t enough, Connie and Peter, are the friendliest, kindest, most generous people I have ever met at a rental place. They helped us with a medical emergency and were so thoughtful. We definitely will come back here with the family again.

Kihei Sands B12...An Amazing Place in Paradise
Kihei Sands B12 is a perfect get away. The unit is fully stocked. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and the sunset. The office staff are Amazing!! We had some medical issues and they went out of their way to help us. It is right on the beach which is perfect for SUPing, swimming, building sandcastles and reading a book. If you want to stay out of the sand, there is a grassy area right before the beach with plenty of chairs. It is child friendly and they have a fun S’mores night on Tuesdays. We will definitely be back.

Kihei Sands is a great complex, easy central location on the island. The area around the complex is clean and a short few steps onto Sugar Beach for walking, sitting, swimming. There are lounge chairs on the grass in front with a cooling breeze or you can sit at the pool area with more shelter.You have sun all day long and the best position on Sugar Beach.
The condo itself was clean and had starter supplies for dish washing, paper towel and toilet paper rolls. We appreciated a very nice welcome basket of treats for us to enjoy on arrival.
This unit B12 is getting a little tired looking but is still very functional and a joy to stay in.
There are weekly smore parties and other get together seasonal activities, we enjoyed the Thanksgiving pot luck this time, a very inclusive atmosphere.
Overall, one of my favorite places to stay, will return!
