Beautiful property. The pictures definitely did it justice. The kitchen was beautifully and fully stocked. Convenient to Asheville and many stunning hikes. We would definitely stay here again.
The only caution would be not to bring more than one car as the driveway is quite steep, and thereās not a way to turn around with two cars.

Home was as appears in the photos. Well equipped. Everything we needed for a short getaway. Super location - hiked every day!

I was quite taken aback by the lack of cleanliness in various areas of the property. The first and most egregious instance was the shower in the basement level. It had hair on the floor and walls (including pubic). I had to clean it myself before anyone would use it. The floors on the basement level were not very clean, especially in the guest bedroom with the two beds. Dirty shoe prints were all over the floor. The smell as soon as you walked downstairs was quite putrid. It smelled of mold, mildew, and of the garage (which the one particular bedroom had been converted from). My young children refused to go down there because of the smell. My wife and I slept down there as my in-laws are older so we had them stay upstairs. We stayed in the bedroom that was previously a garage. The smell was terrible and the bed was extremely loud. So much so that we laughed out of disbelief when getting in and out of it. The windows on the back of the house on the first level were very dirty. Not only does that seem bizarre that they would be so dirty, but counterintuitive to the fact that this property boasts about its views. Hard to truly enjoy the view through windows that hardly or donāt seem to be cleaned. The deck should have also been swept off. I understand the property is in the woods, but still. The view from this property is fantastic, but itās hard to fathom recommending this property to anyone.

Some friends and I had a impromptu 10 year high school reunion given that our school didn't actually have one. We had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed the house. It's a beautiful view and a wonderful secluded and relaxing place. Everything at the house was as described and everything was easy to find and figure out. We would absolutely visit again and recommend to others!

Great Find!
This house had gorgeous views of the mountains. The driveway was rather steep but we solved the problem by having one person leave their car at the space at the top and walking up instead of trying to navigate it each time we wanted to leave.

They donāt lie about the driveway
Came here for a weekend getaway with some friends. The house itself was beautiful. Fantastic views in The morning. Driveway is definitely tricky is you have a few cars with you but we made it work. Would definitely come back again

It should've been made more clear the state of Town Mtn Rd and how windy it is in addition to that driveway. However, we still had a great time. The property overlooks a beautiful view of the mountains so that helped with all the other issues we had.

We spent an hour and a half cleaning them by hand and using the Swiffer mop and a washcloth, which came up almost black there was so much dirt. Not acceptable at any time, but especially during COVID. Kudos to the housekeeping team, which was very responsive and sent someone out the next day to clean, but we would have preferred to have the place spotless when we arrived. Property management was also good to deal with.
Without the floor experience and with some updates and repairs, this would have been a 5-star experience.

The reviews are not kidding about the driveway. Turn around is tough. We drove my husband's big RAM truck and he did not want to drive it down. It stayed at the top of the drive the whole time. The truck was so high and the incline so severe he couldn't see. Smaller cars were fine up and down (it was summer) It was a great workout to run up and down.
The home was beautiful and cozy.
My daughter's wedding was at a nearby venue so we had the brides maids get ready with the bride the day of the wedding. It was wonderful and spacious. 2 hairstylists and 2 makeup ladies and 6 bridesmaids. The party bus picked us up at the top of the drive and we had a great ride to the wedding.
Upon arrival, I had a few burnt out bulbs which were changed after a phone call. The front porch and back upper deck was filthy not only twigs and leaves. I had to sweep several times and buy washclothes to scrub the chairs, side table and table outside with soap and water.
I also ordered Goldbelly.com for breakfasts, lunch and late night snacks. The deliveries were perfect and no problem finding the place. I downloaded the local app for transportation to and from downtown. AVL. We needed 2 cars for 7-8 people. A perfect place for the Bride and her family with a little inconvenience.

Beds were very uncomfortable (too soft and springs hit in all the wrong places) and downstairs rooms were very humid in the rainy season. There was also an infestation of centipedes and mildew on shower curtain in downstairs bathroom. Overall not worth the enormous price tag.

Great experience. View from the sunroom/terrace is amazing. Beautiful property and would stay again.
The only minor negative was that there are sun lights in the roof so canāt get two bedrooms dark in case that affects your sleep. Also mattresses need updating but overall good vacation.

The driveway was super steep, and the heat didnāt work very well in the basement bedrooms but very nice property overall and GREAT location. Beautiful views and 10 min from town. We also saw 3 bears!

This property was exactly as expected based off VRBO. It even had a bit extra with a small downstairs living room and a ping pong table that the kids loved! We had everything we needed and more, and the views were amazing! Driveway was a bit intimidating, but such is life in a mountain home!

Great first time trip to Asheville
Excellent location, only 1 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 5 miles from town. Comfortable well equipped cottage with stunning views. Look forward to returning in the spring.

tree top vacation
We had a wonderful vacation in the beautiful tree top home. We traveled with our family 6 adults and 2 children under 5. The property was amazing and the only down side was no outside space to play except decks. Decks were wonderful for adults but not so great for playing ball or running around.

The house is clean and lovely. The driveway was steep however we could turn around at the bottom.
We encountered a mother bear and her cubs on the porch when we arrived but they scampered off. I would not recommend this house for elderly folks but we loved it.

Beautiful Spot Close to town
Great location, love the view off the deck even though we had a lot of rain during our visit. Cool to see the cloudy/smokey hills off in the distance. Only 15 min Uber ride into town. The wood interior is great and plenty of space to be comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!
House was perfect for our group over the weekend. It was ideally situated in the mountains (with great views) but close enough to be in town within 15 minutes. Highly recommend.
