About this house rental
Mac's Place is a great house located on the bay. With a large deck and great covered patio overlooking the water. And a nice private back yard. The home offers a private 500 foot lighted pier and a private fish cleaning station. The upstairs has a nice full kitchen. Wonderful open dining and living area. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is a large open room with a living space, sleeping space, and bathroom. There is a large drive way for plenty of parking. Washer and dryer. Satellite TV. BBQ. Air conditioned. Pets Allowed for $100 non refundable fee.

Door handle on one of the bedrooms kept falling off, there was water bottles and trash under one of the beds, trash on windowsills. Hair on towels and in sinks and showers. Food on kitchen counters. Neighbors dog kept coming over and pooping in the yard.

It’s a cozy on the coast stay for friends and family. House was clean and beds were made. All appliances worked. Would stay again. Budget friendly.

Dirty
Aside from the property being dirty, their is black mold on the ceiling on the 1st floor from a water heater leaking on the kitchen. Extremely disappointed and will never rent Macs Place again. Not sure who is managing the property but the job is not being done

The whole process was easy great customer service only small detail in the property was one restroom door knob didn't close properly other than that very clean place we had a great time. 👍

Perfect for a group of 10-12...clean and cold! Only negative thing was some of the beds need to be replaced. Other than that great place to fish, bbq and just hangout.

I give this place a High Five if you want to get away from the Hustle and Bustle and enjoy peace, quite and fishing.
Downfall... If you take small children; Private Pier is not Kid Friendly.
Disappointed... They charge a $95.00 cleaning fee and place has cobwebs and Dusty. The bottom bedroom with the Bunk beds has a Stench smells; Humidifier might help.
An outdoor Hackammock at the bottom patio would had been a big PLUS

My son's and I had a great time at this quiet fishing getaway. Jessica and Renee were on top of everything at check-in. The Fishing Pier is great.

Upstairs nice... downstairs not so much.
We loved the upstairs (it had everything we needed - except an ironing board) but the room downstairs smelled like humidity and there were cockroaches...

Very poor.
Has serious electrical problems. This is a two story building with extra living quarters in bottom. Has external stairway leading up to second story which has kitchen, dining and three bedrooms. The external lights went out the first night and it had been raining all day. We were unable to turn lights back on because unknown tripped switch location. Very dark stairway at night. One of our adults slipped on stairway steps but was not hurt. Steps have mildew and very slippery when wet. Found out later that if AC and Humidifier on bottom floor on at same time it will trip the breaker. Why not put larger breaker?
House lights would often flicker at night. One of kitchen plug in's not working.
Lights on fish cleaning table not working and no water faucet on cleaning table to clean fish. We tried fishing at night.
Dead cockroaches on one of bedroom floors. One large cockroach on dining wall and another big one on master bedroom bath room floor. Would not rent this house again.

House was perfect for us. We caught a lot of fish.

Comfortable accommodation, great pier!
Very polite and helpful manager. Well-prepped house, sleeps 11 in four rooms. Great to have a private master bath! 5-bed bunkroom downstairs was nice for semi-privacy for travelling with kids. BBQ grill included was nice, and upstairs deck and patio were great for relaxing. Overall, very good place!

House was nice, perfect for our trip. Slept 10 guys comfortably. Fishing pier is big w plenty of room.
