“C’est la Vie... This is life!” This amazing Southern California oceanfront vacation is yours to enjoy! Second floor condo with a small balcony to appreciate the spectacular view. See unforgettable sunsets, watch surfers carve the waves, and dolphins and whales coast by. The comfortable living room has a beachy theme open to a well-stocked kitchen with newer appliances. Spacious single bedroom is equipped with a king bed, ceiling fan and workspace. Bathroom includes an oversized jacuzzi. New sleeper sofa (purchased mid-2020) available for a third guest. Also included is wireless internet/cable modem, printer-fax-copier, unlimited long distance telephone, new tv (2020) with cable and HBO/Cinemax, telescope, ceiling fans and more! Gated community has a pool and spa that overlook the Pacific Ocean. Head down the beach access stairs located in the community to walk along the shoreline or rent a board and try surfing for yourself. This is an ideal oceanfront home for your getaway on the beach in North County San Diego, located within walking distance to many restaurants, unique shopping, and the Solana Beach Train Station. Be sure to stroll along the Coastal Rail Trail or hike one of the many diverse trails at San Elijo Lagoon. Enjoy a day watching thoroughbreds at the nearby Del Mar Racetrack or take a 30 minute drive to any of San Diego’s famous attractions including Legoland, Seaworld, San Diego Zoo or Downtown San Diego. Solana Beach has been rated one of the top Best Beach Towns by Travel and Leisure in 2021. NOTE: No washer/dryer inside unit, but a complex laundry room is just steps away. In accordance with Solana Beach regulations, this property has a 6 night minimum. No smoking anywhere on premises. This unit is not air conditioned. Our properties are cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized in accordance with CDC guidelines. Perfect location with great sunset views and surfers. Right on the beach. If you walk to the left, you will enjoy dog’s beach (vivid and joyful); if you walk to the right, you will enjoy solitude. We liked everything!

We spent a wonderful week at Sea La Vie in beautiful Solana Beach/Del Mar. It was a return to our favorite Southern California region, having lived in Poway for seven years previously. The location was ideal with easy access to Del Mar, Encinitas, La Jolla, Interstate 5, and all the other wonderful places in the San Diego area. The condo overlooked Solana Beach with a location where daily from sunup to sundown, surfers filled the sea and dogs from nearby dog beach chased one another in and out of the waves. The condo (with covered parking) was very accessible from Via de la Valle, and also had a beautiful pool, hot tub and easy access to the beach. The condo was fully furnished, including beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys (if you have kiddos) and anything else needed for a great day at the beach. We like to cook, and enjoyed all the kitchen amenities. There were a couple of cabinets that needed a little work on the latches and a sliding screen door that kept jumping its track, but the view and the attached balcony made those small flaws easy to overlook. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room helped on the warmer days, so beware that there is no AC if you there when heat is expected. The location did provide some great ocean breezes. Even though some of the condo felt a little dated, it was clean, the initial supply of paper towels, etc., was sufficient for the week and free access to the complex's laundry was a nice added benefit. It was also nice knowing the management team was just up the street should we have any special issues (which we did not!) Sea La Vie was a wonderful escape in a beautiful location!

Oceanfront placement is what this condo has going for it. Otherwise the deferred maintenance - tired furniture, broken kitchen faucet and declining refrigerator and dishwasher; old bed and stained bed linens; broken shutters and patio door; dirty rugs and smelly pillows; falling towel and shower curtain rods - not to mention loud upstairs tenants and their barking dog - made this a less than relaxing vacation experience.

This property was absolutely fabulous. It is very thoughtfully put together. I enjoyed the master bedroom and my 23 year old slept comfortably on the blow up bed. Plenty of pillows and blankets to be really cozy. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean - and very close to this unit. But the best part was the ocean. Sometimes we chose to sit on the balcony to enjoy the cool air, and other times we sat inside. Either way, we were able to enjoy the waves, clouds, birds and surfers :) The sound of the waves were wonderful to fall asleep to. Planning on using this rental again!

Walking into the unit to the ocean views was a literal thrill! I spent hours sitting at the windows watching the surfers, dolphins, sea lions, pelicans and sea gulls. At this time of year there was much coastal fog, known as "the marine layer", but that didn't stop me from joining the other beach walkers and dogs. The unit was cute and clean. Great location! The real estate management company, Stubbs, was easy to work with and always helpful!

We have wintered in this property (4 to 6 weeks) 11 out of the past 13 years (missing only 2 years of COVID). A great location. Beautiful views of the cliffs and sunset, and easy (walkable) access to shopping and dining in Solana Beach.Unfortunately, the condition of the unit has deteriorated over that time, and has become quite worn. Furnishings have been replaced haphazardly, many disappearing. On line photos no longer representative of current condition of the unit.

Beautiful and Relaxing Getaway
What a perfect place to stay! From the amazing view to the incredible proximity to the beach/ocean to the wonderful attentiveness of Stubbs (the rental company), we absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend Sea La Vie (and Stubbs).

We chose this property for the location. It is nicely decorated and furnished and the bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was not well cleaned or maintained, from rust stains in the sink, to the moldy shower curtain liner, the condition was disappointing .

The beach is easily accessible, and a good workout (100 steps down and back up to get to and from the beach). The unit was incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great location in a quiet area. Restaurants and shops within 5-10 minutes. This was a heavenly get away, and we will definitely be returning!

The view and location are outstanding. We had a very relaxing time - restaurants and other amenities are close by the property.
However, the place could be cleaner - carpets, floors, rugs, kitchen, barbecue. It really needs a deep cleaning including steam cleaning the carpets.
