About this condo rental
The Oasis is our bright, clean and airy three bedroom, two bathroom condo located in the Ocean Walk Condominium Village, one of St. Simons Island's nicest and most popular condo complexes. It is perfectly located to enjoy the best this beautiful island has to offer! Our completely-remodeled vacation home provides an opportunity to enjoy a variety of experiences while providing our guests with two queen beds, two twin beds, and a sleeper sofa (sleeps 2), with linens and towels. Its open and comfortable living space has bright tile floors throughout, with a large sliding glass door leading to a cozy and relaxing covered balcony with cushioned chairs, table, and a couch. The living room is beautifully and comfortably furnished and includes a new queen-sized sofa/sleeper along with a 4K UHD Smart TV and a Blu-ray DVD player. High speed Wi-Fi internet access is also included. The kitchen is fully-stocked, with all appliances, dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils provided, as well as a private laundry room. Ocean Walk offers two immaculately-maintained pools, a large pond, tennis courts, and a clubhouse with meeting and health club facilities. There are over 40 access points to beautiful East Beach; the access at Neptune Park down by the SSI Pier is a half a mile away (15-20 minute walk), and the most popular access point is at the SSI Coast Guard Station, just 1.4 miles from the condo. A ten minute walk or 5 minute bike ride will bring you into the heart of Pier Village (“downtown” St. Simons), where you will find many wonderful restaurants, unique shops, the town pier, and the famous St. Simons Lighthouse (which is open to the public). Red Fern Village is another very popular place on SSI also offering a number of boutiques and fine restaurants and is located only 2 miles from the Oasis. Also highly recommended is a visit to neighboring Jekyll Island to the south (25 minutes by car), a beautiful state park with a fascinating history. A number of magazines, newspapers and online review sites – including Condé Nast, Travel & Leisure, Country Living, Coastal Living, The Smithsonian, The New York Times, and Outside Magazine, have recognized SSI with a number of awards over the last several years. The condo was as advertised and everything was in order. The location was great! It was an easy walk to the beach, pier, and many restaurants. We also enjoyed the amenities in the complex including the tennis courts.

Enjoyed the pools and workout amenities along with access to tennis courts/pickleball courts! Property was cozy and clean-recently remodeled and appreciated the updated features! Close to the pier with all the shops and restaurants-easy bike ride or walkable (for a bit of exercise). Would come back again to this property!

We had a great experience! The communication was superb, the location was only a quick walk / bike ride / golf cart ride to the Pier, and all of the amenities of the rental were in working order. Would stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Staying was myself, husband, three small children and two grandparents. There was enough room for all! The place was clean and just as described. It was well stocked. We rented a golf cart which made getting to and from the beach and around town very simple…I would recommend doing this. The property was great with small children! Communication was wonderful with the owner and she went above and beyond to help us with anything needed…even dealing with a flat tire upon our arrival in our vehicle.
The only problem we ran into was check in upon arrival, somehow VRBO seemed to have sent me many emails and I happened to go with the wrong email that had the wrong door code. Emilie got back with me and was able to get the code to me.

This unit was extremely clean and had a lot of space. It was the perfect spot near beaches, food, and activities. The check in and out process were easy. The communication from the owner was helpful and friendly. We hope to visit again!

Very quiet, clean place to stay .Beach was clean and close 7 minute drive. Lots of shops and places to eat. Local and chain stores available if needing supplys. Great experience and the rental was exactly what was promised. Will come back on our travels again. East beach next to resort also has a beach rental of umbrellas and chairs if you go that way.

The condo was very comfortable and the complex was quiet. They had basic toiletries and plenty of towels both bath and beach. Short walk to both the pools. Location to town, the pier and beach were perfect. Lots to see on SSI, Jeykll Island and only an hour and half to Savannah. This condo was a great "base camp". Both the owner and property manager were responsive when there was an issue. Would come back again if in the area.

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks in January. We are from Maine so St. Simons as a winter destination was perfect for us - not too hot, but pleasant enough to be outside every day, usually without a jacket :) The property offered by Emilie and John is just great - sizable enough for family/guests, all of the equipment/supplies you need for a short or long stay, located in a complex that is perfectly located for experiencing much of what the island has to offer. We walked or biked to the beach and the village area every day - either way is an option from this location, just really depends on how much time you want to take to get there! The check-in process was very, very easy - Emilie provided great directions and instructions and was super responsive to any questions or concerns. We spent some time visiting the rest of the island and also Jekyll Island - highly recommend if you have the time. Overall - a great experience!

Our family of 5 and small dog stayed at this property for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. The homeowner was easy to contact, responsive, and provided incredibly detailed information prior to our arrival. Access was simple and secure. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect - towards the back of the property near the pool, water feature, and courts. It was also short walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. We would definitely look to stay here again should we return to SSI.

Our family (two adults, one 5-year-old, and two aging dogs) had a great time at this second-level condo on St. Simons Island. The complex has great amenities, as described in the listing, that we all enjoyed - we particularly liked the ducks! - and is conveniently located for local beach access and retail/restaurants. The condo itself is well-stocked, clean, and very comfortable. We could have added another couple or adult easily to our party. Emilie and John were accommodating and very responsive. We definitely recommend this listing!

Wonderful Experience
Great location; close to everything. Two very nice and well maintained pools. Condo had everything we needed for a stress free stay. Owners were very attentive to an issue we had and communicated to make sure everything was good. Would not hesitate to stay again or rent this property again..

Nice place to stay
The property was clean. The owner communicated very well with us related to check-in and then called to see if everything was good. We enjoyed our time here. Beach access points are about a mile away and are not walk-friendly for the most part go golf cart, bikes, or a car are needed. Can more easily walk to the park and downtown/pier area.

The condo was great and accommodated 7+ dog. Easy accessible and clean and was about the distance that they said to the beach. On the other hand the condominium association that it is in is full of rude people and people that like to bicker and argue and complain about everything. Even had one lady cursing at me and going off and yelling because her and her husband was blocking the roundabout in a no parking zone and I couldn’t get through. Threaten to call the property manager when I was not in the wrong. Would not stay here again because of that other than that recommend it. If you want a clean place to stay but don’t mind getting yelled at by people that live there you should stay here.

The Oasis - St. Simon’s Island
Emilie (owner) was extremely prompt and oh so kind from the start! Check in was so easy with a lock box on the door. As a former owner on E. Beach, I know the island well. Ocean Walk is such a convenient walk to the Village. Our trip was to celebrate Mother’s Day. The condo is immaculately clean with anything you need for a beach trip at your finger tips. The beds were super comfy the living space certainly adequate for an all adult group. And we loved have coffee on the porch in the mornings and wine in the evenings. The Space also has a full size washer and dryer. The kitchen is very well stocked. Emilie has given great thought to all one would need for a beach getaway including beach chairs and towels for the pool which is right across the parking lot from the condo. If this condo is available for your stay…Book It!

Just what we needed
Perfect for our family of 4. Walking distance to the lighthouse / square area with restaurants and shops. The pools were nice when it got too windy at the beach. We were comfortable and so was our dog bc he didn’t have to go to the kennel.,

Perfect Spot
Our family, two adults and two 17 year old boys stayed here over spring break. The fact that we were allowed to bring our dog with us was a huge selling point!! No size or breed restrictions was a delight for our family, because we have a larger pitbull. The condo is located a short walk or bike ride from the village and a short bike ride to Gould's Inlet or East Beach.
Emilie was easy to work with and was happy to answer my questions. She is a great at communication, even calling to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed. I would gladly stay here again.
