About this house rental
Located in Broad Ripple, this attractive house for £314 per night is a great option for your next trip. My charming home was selected for the 2012 Historic home tour! It was also featured in a two- page spread in the Indy Star! You’ll love my place as it is an original bungalow/cottage that Broad Ripple is known for. It was completed before the start of World War II and still retains many of its beautiful and original features. When you approach my home, you will see the darling cottage-style home enclosed by mature landscape and cozy front porch surrounded by a white picket fence. When you enter, you will be greeted by the original Indiana limestone fireplace, original hardwoods, repurposed original kitchen cabinets, sweet dining room, full bathroom with it’s original tile and two great size bedrooms. I have tried to maintain the integrity of the original home; only adding my artistic touch! I like to call my downstairs a private bed and breakfast! This is a rare treasure in Broad Ripple! The entrance to the space is right off of the kitchen. As you walk down the stairs, you will be comforted with a spacious family room complete with a fireplace and a custom built bar made by yours truly. The large bedroom has brand new carpet, a beautiful hand made wood wall and smart TV. The half bath and laundry room are connected for your convenience. You will have all the amenities you need from a mini refrigerator, bar sink, microwave and coffee maker. My favorite part of my home is what I call, “The Sanctuary.” You will find the ultimate outdoor courtyard experience right in my private backyard. It is all about relaxation and beauty, groomed with gorgeous and colorful landscape! It has a hand-crafted peaceful water fountain embedded in a stonewall structure, a luxurious fire pit accompanied by 6 comfortable chairs. This space also includes an al fresco outdoor dining space beneath an intricately-built and mindfully-lit pergola. Adjacent, five hanging basket swings are suspended for your ultimate relaxation experience. One will also enjoy an outdoor theatre experience with a 70" smart tv! My home is located in one of the most hip and happening cultural districts of Indianapolis, the Broad Ripple Village. It is an eclectic neighborhood with award winning independent restaurants, boutique-style shopping, family friendly parks, fun nightlife and steps from the Monon Trail, an 18 mile trail popular for walking and bicycling. My home is wonderful for anyone; family with kids, business travelers and groups!

From the moment we booked, the host was warm and welcoming! The lovely property felt like home away from home for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The host spoiled us with treats and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay! I would definitely stay here again! My family and I were in town to visit some friends of our teenage granddaughter. We had the good fortune to select this charming cottage home in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis. It was so very cozy and welcoming.
This home has a beautifully decorated backyard for relaxing. It also has an entertainment room in the basement with a large tv and bar.
The kids had a great time playing card games down stairs while it rained. Our gracious host, Carly provided snacks and soft drinks for our teen and her friends.
Carly was very communicative and responsive to all our questions and concerns. We would definitely like to stay here on our next visit.

Came for our 6th Gen Con and this was the best VRBO we've had in 6 years. Carly does an amazing job on every angle. The house was straight up magical. Great beds, really good water pressure, solid tables (could use one more! I am a board gamer though most people would be ultra pleased.)
The neighborhood is cozy, the kind of place that coming of age movies were filmed in the 90s. Its also close to literally dozens of places to eat. We ate at 317 Burger and Flatwater at Carly's recommendation and they were incredible.
I hope none of you book this place before me next year because if I have my way my crew will stay here every year for Gen Con. Truly a special owner and an excellent property.

We were in town for the Indy 500. Everything was as described. The charm of the home is just delightful. Our family was very comfortable. The home owner went above and beyond. She included small toiletries and welcomed us with amazing popcorn made locally and wine. The beds were very comfortable and the backyard was like a getaway. No bugs except butterflies.

Carly is an amazing host and has created the perfect vacation get away! Her house is charming and immaculate The front porch and back patio are perfect for hanging out with a cup of coffee or a cocktail. We had breakfast on the back patio and then dessert around the fire. Carly is an excellent communicator. She checked in daily and was available for questions at all times. The neighborhood is quiet but close to Broadripple. Carly added little touches to welcome our family and our graduate. I wish we could have stayed longer!

One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had
Lovely home and a host who really cares, and prepares! Not a single negative …. Would definitely stay here again. The back yard is as enticing as the photos. Perfect spot for a family gathering. The house was spotless and well organized. The welcoming gifts, including wine and a giant tub of gourmet flavored popcorn, were much appreciated. This is how all VRBO owners should aspire to operate.

Beautiful, quaint home with a special touch!
This home was perfect for our family of four. We loved the inviting outdoor spaces and Carly’s charming interior/exterior design. The generous welcome tray of goodies with a personalized note was an added surprise. Our host checked in daily via text and communication was kind, clear and prompt. Great location that is within walking distance or a short drive to many quality restaurants. Our family only has positive things to say about our experience, and we are grateful to have created wonderful memories in this home.

Cutest Vrbo ever!
We loved our stay at Broad Ripple. My daughter called it the cutest Vrbo ever! Carly was a friendly and helpful host. The front porch and back garden were where we started and ended our days. We took the short walk to Broad Ripple park for the kids to play on the playground. It was a nice park that has some equipment in the shade. We had a great stay.

Girl's outing
The house is absolutely adorable and very comfortable. So much thought has gone into making this property very special for guests. There are 2 gas fireplaces which are so cozy to sit around.
The backyard is outstanding. We were able to go out and enjoy the fire pit. We are looking forward to visiting again when the weather is nicer so we can hang out longer in the backyard. This property is just a GEM!!

Good Find in Broad Ripple
This listing is a great find if you plan to visit Indianapolis. It's centrally located in Broad Ripple near restaurants, bars, the canal, Butler. Our children and grandchildren live there so it was perfect for us. It's on a quiet street, a very charming and comfy 3 bedroom home with finished basement/playroom/bar. Large TV's in each room. Also has large back yard with fire pit, gas grill, party lights, etc. Very well decorated with a personal touch. The host couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. Excellent hospitality, easy checkin/checkout, and little things like welcome gifts, water in each room, etc. Plan to stay here again on our next trip to Indy. Highly recommended.

Butler basketball weekend
Would 100% recommend if you're looking to stay in the Indianapolis/Broad ripple area. We had friends in town for a weekend of Butler basketball games and chose it for it's location and beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The outdoor patio area was the perfect place to hang by fire pit and catch some college football on the big screen. Carly could not have been more accommodating, leaving a personal note and treats for us upon arrival and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were having a good time throughout our stay. The communication was second to none. The place was clean and cozy and I would absolutely choose it again!

Great Place & Location
My family of 5 stayed at this house and enjoyed our time here. It’s located in a great area. The house is very clean, cozy and and beds were really comfortable. The backyard is amazing! You can hang by the fire pit while watching tv :). My kids enjoyed the swinging chairs.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Indianapolis.

This property is cozy, quaint, and oh so close Broad Ripple and the Monon trail! The amenities were great, especially the outdoor fire pit and big screen TV, which provided much relaxation after a long day on the trail. We had such a great time that we're already thinking about a return trip.

60th Birthday Bash
What a lovely place to stay! 🥰 This home is very charming and comfy. Has a feel of home but also like you are in a different city on vacation! Even tho we are from the Indianapolis area we had such a great stay! Perfect place to celebrate 60 and have a blast! Close enough to friends they stopped in to share a beverage and enjoy some of the weekend! Personalized messages and popcorn from the host were a fantastic addition! Thank you! ☺️ We used every bit of the quaint, homey, and cozy space. Sitting on the the front porch watching life go by while chatting was a very relaxing way to spend part of our day. I can’t even explain the glorious backyard patio areas! The fire pit was beautiful and the lights add just enough to the ambiance! What a wonderful oasis! The grill, with TV area made fixing steaks a pleasure. The WiFi worked well, and the Bluetooth speaker is a fantastic addition! Don’t even get me started on the hanging basket chairs! Awesome! I live in Indianapolis and needed a place for my three brothers to stay for a brothers' reunion weekend. This property was perfect. It is just minutes from Broad Ripple Village, North Keystone, and Midtown, and just 15 minutes or so to downtown. We got to everyplace we needed within minutes. The house is a cute 3-bedroom cottage-style home, well-furnished and nicely decorated. The kitchen is small but everything we needed worked well. Our main purpose was to talk, and the very comfortable living room was perfect for that. The air conditioning was excellent. There is a beautiful backyard space, with firepit and television, that very sadly we never used. But it would have been a wonderful place to spend some time. My brothers, nit-pickers for details, had no complaints at all. And the neighborhood is quiet. I will not hesitate at all to house my brothers here again, or recommend it to any family or friends visiting.

My Friend and I stayed here as a landing pad for good food in Broad Ripple and Ruhoff Music at night. The place was Perfect!!! It was spotless, backyard sanctuary was beautiful, and Carly was welcoming and very helpful! One of the better VRBOs I’ve stayed in. And can’t forget to mention that the beds were soooooo comfortable. Thanks Carly for a very memorable weekend and sharing your beautiful place!
