About this house rental
Nestled in Crescent City, this attractive house for £157 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Enjoy the spacious living/dining area with expansive views in all directions of the coastline, mountains, harbor, fishing fleet, lighthouse and ocean. Enjoy the views from each of the large bedrooms through the big bedroom windows. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a deck for your enjoyment outside the livingroom from which your can hear the searly lions in the harbor. The backyard is fenced and is very private and quiet, and you can use the gas grill to barbecue. There is an attached garage for your convenience. There is also lots of additional paved parking for additional cars, a boat, or RV. There is a washer and dryer for your use. There is a 65 inches TV with Netflix and DVD. There is wifi provided. All kitchen dishes and bedroom/bathroom linens are provided. The vacation home is upstairs on the 2nd floor. outside the house is the bike path/ California coastal trail which you can walk to the beach, harbor, sea lions, and fishing fleet in a few minutes. Restaurants, groceries, liquor stores, the library, lighthouse, fishing pier, and the oceanfront city park with playground and disc golf course are all a short walk away. Within a few miles drive is coastal hiking and hiking in the Redwood National and State Parks, golfing, surfing, shopping, and the beautiful Smith River National Recreation Area. The flooring in the livingroom and dining is recently updated.

Great house with great views!
We stayed at Kelly and Brian’s for a family gathering with our kids and we all loved the house. It has wonderful views and we watched the boats and lighthouse. We had everything we needed from a very well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and easy access to the redwoods and the beach!

Great location and views
Living area and kitchen space were great. We loved the property location - close to beaches, parks, shopping, etc. The bedrooms/bathrooms could use updating. The bedroom with the double beds does have an "old" smell to it and the beds were very uncomfortable- the beds in the other bedrooms were great though. There is a strong odor in the entry way stairs, but you don't smell it once you are upstairs in the living area. We noticed a few sugar ants in the kitchen, but it looks like the owners are working on it. Overall - we did enjoy our stay.

The décor was strange in a outdated, but well-cared=for sort of way. There were strange smells that were covered up by air fresheners with strong scents. There were ant traps around, and the ants came out when we didn't fully clear out the sink on the first night. Google maps took us to a sketchy house next door, which gave us a real scare until we noticed this property. It is upstairs from another household with its own private stairs, which, made us worry that we were making too much noise when our little boys resorted to games of chase and when we practiced violins and cellos. (We are a family of musicians and carry our instruments with us on vacations.)

Great centralized location with amazing views!
Beautiful views of the bay and lighthouse from the many large windows and deck! Centralized location was great! Short walk over to the boat dock, sea lion colony, northern end of crescent beach, and to the redwoods parks information center, and a very short drive (5-10 minutes) to lighthouse, Crescent beach, Pebble beach, St George point, Enderts beach, Jedediah State Park, and restaurants and grocery stores! House was very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive. I definitely recommend it!

Poorly identified
It was presented as on the beach which it was not. It was set back from the harbor. We could not hear the ocean from so far back. The yard was not kept as shown in the online pictures & the fence is falling down. The coffee maker was old & did not work properly. I had text the owner to ask how to get to the beach and never received a response. It would’ve been fine as just a house to stay in but we were expecting ocean access which it did not have. Would not stay there again

We stayed here with our five children. There was plenty of room for all of us. It was very clean and in a great location. It is a quick walk to the beach, and close to the Redwood state parks. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to stay to family and friends.

This property has amazing views of the ocean, marina and haystack rocks! The visit was made enjoyable by having everything you need for a comfortable stay; plenty of towels, kitchen basics, puzzles, games, great space for hanging out and smart TV

Also, there is a nice deck, with chairs to enjoy the view. The house is well appointed with everything we needed. The house is dated, although well maintained, spacious and clean. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. The house is next to a very nice walking trail.
