We bought this property, and completely remodeled it with the dream of making it a place where families/groups can have a relaxing, enjoyable stay at the magic and adventurous town of La Fortuna. The home is located within a 5 minute drive to downtown where you will find everything along the lines of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, shops, tour agencies, and night life. There's a 10 minute drive to world famous thermal water resorts (Baldi, Tabacon, EcoTermales), and a 25 minute drive to the Mistico hanging bridges rain forest. It is also near the Arenal Volcano,and Arenal lake. The home is equipped with A/C throughout, WIFI, full kitchen with all necessary utensils and cookware, 2 full beds and 1 king bed, extra mattress is available upon request. What a fun house. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was lovely and the chairs outside were so comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Turquesa! It was in a great location. Was convenient to town to get to the grocery stores, sodas (small local restaurants and convenient to many of the area attractions like hiking, ziplining, waterfalls, hot springs, etc. House was well stocked and comfortable for our family of 6. The pool was an awesome bonus. We spent our evenings out there relaxing after a day of touring the area. Owner was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had. We like to visit different areas, but if we were to return, we would definitely rent at this location again.

This house is spacious with nice area around it. The best part is private swimming pool with little waterfall and wet bar. Inside the house there are 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms although one of them is located downstairs near the kitchen. Location is close to main road which helps to quickly get to all major LaFortuna attractions but also a bit noisy because of passing cars. Overall it's a great property in LaFortuna big enough to host a group of 4-6 people and with nice flat parking space in front of it

Everything was great about our stay. The property is a short drive from La Fortuna, check-in was very easy, there is a close by property manager that is easy to reach, and the pool is wonderful (day and night!). This property really made our stay near the Arenal volcano very easy with our young children.

If you have transportation, it is conveniently located near many local attractions, including Lake Arenal, Arenal Volcano and the numerous hot spring resorts in the area. There is a Pali supermarket just down the street and plenty of restaurants in the town of La Fortuna. Our kids enjoyed the pool and had a blast playing under the waterfall. The home and bedrooms were spacious and it was nice to be able to chill in our own space after days spent at crowded hot springs. Just an advisory for any property that you utilize in a tropical/humid location like this one: there will be plenty of bugs and also things tends to break down quicker. All in all, it was a nice getaway for us, thank you for the use of your property!

This place is so amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice at all. I have stayed in many VRBOs and have never had such an experience! We will be back to La Fortuna and we will stay here when we come back. Thank you for hosting us.

Our family of 5 stayed in Casa Turquesa June 1-6. It was super clean, nice and very accommodating. The location was perfect-only about a 2-3 minutes drive from La Fortuna. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect house for our family of 5 (3 school age kids, 2 adults). The location was great, just a 5 min drive into downtown La Fortuna for groceries and great restaurants. 20-30 min drive to all the activities (volcano hike, zip lining, hot springs resorts, chocolate tour, horseback riding, etc.). The only downside of location is the the house is right off of the Main/busy Street into downtown. You can hear the traffic passing throughout the night but would not pass up on renting this house because of this issue. The location/space/amenities outweigh the noise. The house is extremely spacious and there was more then enough room for all of us. Each room has its own A/C unit. The kitchen had everything we needed if we wanted to cook but we ate most of our meals out. The pool was perfect for our kids to swim in during the afternoons and evenings. The only downfall of the pool area is the seating. There is no where to sit around the pool. The only seating is near the BBQ which is hidden away from the pool making it hard to interact with the kids. Again, nothing to deter you from staying here - its still a fabulous space. The bonus of this house was our sloth experience. We got to see a sloth come down from one of the trees on the property and crawl along the fence! It was by far the best sighting we had during the entire stay. We also saw a couple toucans in the trees! The host is attentive and very fast to respond with any questions or needs. She even provided us with a contact name/email for a gentlemen that can help book all of your activities during your stay for you. He was very helpful and all of the tours he selected for us were great! If we ever end up back in La Fortuna we will definitely stay here again! Thank you again for everything!

We had a great stay. The property is close to town but out far enough to feel secluded. The property is well kept and nice. Communication with the host was top notch! She even recommended places to eat and activities. We had an issue with water in the house due to a massive rain storm and they responded to fast and took care of the issue immediately. Highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Loved the house and yard. Enjoyed the birds and other wildlife. Proximity to La Fortuna was handy for dinners and shopping and the host was very timely on responding to any questions we had. She helped us set up a couple activities which we loved and had a blast. Would stay again for sure. Pura Vida

The house was such a fun place to stay in, the mood was so eclectic. Outdoor area was really nice, we spent most of our time out there under the gazebo, in the pool or swinging in the chairs. Overall, the house was well stocked, clean and full of relaxing amenities. Hilda was extremely responsive snd accommodating. One of the best rental experiences I've had. Only bummer is how close the house is to the main road, but meh.

Our group of 7 loved this property for many reasons; close to town, pool and grill area, TV for us to watch Jurassic Park, room to spread out and an attentive host! The house is right off the highway and my room was on the road side of the house but I did not hear the traffic over the AC.

Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, täuscht aber nicht darüber hinweg, dass das Haus direkt an der Hauptstraße mit entsprechendem Lärm liegt und wir nach drei Tagen vorzeitig genervt abgereist sind. Das LKW Hupen war über die Ohrstöpsel hinweg zu hören. Außerdem wird man außerhalb des Hauses auf dem Gelände 24/7 Videoüberwacht. Dazu kann man stehen wie man will wir haben uns sehr unwohl und überwacht gefühlt. Die Spüle war einen Tag undicht, wurde aber sehr schnell behoben und der Wasserdruck war darauf zwei Tage nicht wirklich vorhanden. Des Weiteren verströmten die Zimmer einen höchst unangenehmen Geruch. Viel zu starkes Airwick in den Steckdosen. Auch waren am Pool keine Liegen und nur eine einzige Hängematte vorhanden obwohl uns bei der Buchung welche versprochen waren.

What a charming house! Very clean and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. Wi-Fi worked great, beds comfortable, and good A/C. The hosts were SUPER responsive and offered helpful tips. Check in/check out was a breeze! The house is just outside of La Fortuna, just 3-4 minutes to all the shops, restaurants, and grocery store. If you have a car it's super easy. We also hailed Ubers/taxis for only $3 each way. We enjoyed making our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay. We would come back any time!

I have reasonably high standards and this house did not disappoint. I have stayed in the resorts at La Fortuna and this is a great option if you want more privacy and a LOT more room. The kids LOVED the pool and they were able to play and splash without us having to worry about other guests. We had a rental car, and the nearest grocery store was just about a 3 minute drive. Town was just a few minutes further. The place was clean, there were plenty of towels, there is a maintenance person at the ready, and the owner was very responsive to our needs. Please be advised that there is not a formal address and we encountered an issue at customs that required the owner to talk with the customs agent-- be prepared with an alternative address upon arrival. Also, it was a little hard to find at dark. . The owner is very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay at this house again and would recommend it to friends

We rented the house to cook an American Thanksgiving dinner. The property was everything we could have wished for. The house is clean and spacious. The property manager was great and offers a lot of advice with regards to local restaurants and tourism. The pool was great during the hot afternoons. We will definitely be returning next year.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is a little far out of town but it is a very drive. We did have to hook up the propane tank to use the stove. Also, wished to road noise wasn't so loud. The house is well furnished and the kitchen was well supplied.
