Whether you're traveling with family or friends, Kiahuna Ocean View is a wonderful, welcoming home where you will want to stay forever. This lovely, 3300-square foot home offers the luxury of hard wood floors, spacious rooms, walk-in closets, a large, covered lanai and a refreshing, private swimming pool. With five bedrooms, two of which are master suites, there is plenty of space for ten guests to spread out, relax and enjoy the tropical breezes and fragrant scents of the beautiful "Garden Island." The great room is a comfortable space where everyone can be together; there are also many places in this large home where you can quietly read a book. The possibilities are endless . . . . The chef(s) in your group will greatly appreciate the large kitchen, completely remodeled in 2019. You may want to visit one of Kauai's Sunshine or Farmer's Markets for fresh, local produce to include in your favorite recipes. You may also want to add some of Kauai's fresh fish and seafood to your tropical culinary creations. It's amazing how Kauai can inspire greatness in us in so many ways by offering such a beautiful island for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. One great way to do that is to lounge near your private swimming pool and take a refreshing dip whenever you feel like it. No need to be on a tight schedule -- just take a deep breath and relax. The Kiahuna Ocean view home is a non-smoking property in a residential neighborhood with homeowner association guidelines to ensure a peaceful and exclusive vacation. This also means no hosting of events, large parties or excessive noise. Please be aware that while the yard is fenced in, there is no barrier immediately surrounding the swimming pool. The pool is visible from most living areas, but could still pose a danger to very young children. Although it may be difficult to leave this lovely home for even an hour, you may want to explore our "Garden Island." There are many beautiful sights to see in Poipu, such as Spouting Horn, a natural blowhole along Poipu's coastline. Allerton Garden, a National Tropical Botanical Garden in Poipu, is a wonderful place to see and learn about many colorful and unusual tropical plants and flowers. Nice house and pool very roomy and good location. We had 6 adults and 3 children nour only complaint was that while all rooms had ceiling fans most didn't actually work (most only ran on lowest speed and could not be adjusted). I think updating the fans would be a major improvement.

5 adults, 4 under 13 and the house worked perfect for us! Every couple had their own space and the kids loved the pool!! Lots of boogey boards, beach chairs, water socks and pool toys! I think it should be in the property listing as it was quite remarkable! The fridge in the garage was awesome for all the beverages! Would definitely stay here again!

Our family (3 generations) had a great time at the Poipu house. The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us. My son, (the chef) especially enjoy cooking in the kitchen with all of the appliances that were available. The kids enjoyed the pool and going to Poipu Beach nearby. Everything we wanted to do was nearby - snorkeling, watching/swimming with the turtles, grocery shopping, catching the boat for our Napoli boat ride, as well as getting to and from the airport at Lihue. Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories of our vacation in Kauai.

This is the perfect home for a large family. Lots of congregating places and room for privacy. A very well stocked kitchen and grill. The pool was wonderful for keeping us wet between excursions to the beach. We hope to be back soon.

My family and I loved our stay in this home. It was well equipped and spacious. The location was great, the view was beautiful day and night. The fans were not working during our stay, the house was unbearably hot, so the managers sent someone to provide more portable fans but it did not help much. It was rough being in the house without cool air. Overall it was a great stay.

This property was ideal for our first family vacation to Kauai. There were 10 of us (5 adults/5 kids) and the 5 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms were perfect! Plus we had our own private pool right outside the Great room/dining room. The property was very clean and everything was in excellent working order. The kitchen was big and made a great room to have family time cooking together! Plenty of bath & beach towels provided along with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, goggles, water shoes, etc for the beach. When looking to book, we asked the manager lots of questions and she was quick to respond, very friendly, helpful & professional. Great location, beautiful and very quiet. Restaurants, stores and Poipu Beach a short drive from property. Property Key pick up and drop off was super easy. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend/family. We loved driving and exploring all the different beaches and enjoyed the Backcountry River Tubing excursion!! It was so wonderful, we didn't want to leave.

The bug issue this property has is overwhelming. We constantly kept doors closed but the gnats would find a way inside and swarm like crazy! Unfortunately without air conditioning we were forced to keep the windows open at night (or sweat all night). Insects would fall on us at night as we slept. Tried contacting property manager but no response. Not like they could do anything anyway... this home needs an exterminator before it’s rented again.

Awesome stay in a great location!
I have stayed in rentals all over the world and I can say that the photos are usually much better than the actual experience - but not in this case! I was a little worried as the photos looked a bit dated, but the house was even better in person than we could have imagined. The living room was absolutley huge and the kitchen was well stocked with a ton of dishware. We loved coming home and lounging by the pool. The BBQ was fanstatic and there was enough seating for over 10 people outside to enjoy. I am not a golfer, but we all enjoyed relaxing and staring out at the golf course during sunset. The house doesn't have AC, which would be my only complaint, but it was well stocked with floor fans - i counted two floor fans for every bedroom. The garage was stocked with beach chairs, a cooler, and a boogie board! A ton of bath towels were provided, but also beach towels which was great. A huge washer/dryer enabled us to do laundry which was great as well. The property is just up the road from a ton of restaurants in Poipu, which made our 1 minute drive for happy hour drinks an easy one. The rental company that handles the property was incredibly professional and easily reachable with questions. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again.

Great size for large family
Location in Kiahuna Golf Village is terrific, the size of the home was nicely suited to our large family gathering. Very pleasant outdoor space with view.
Had an issue with ants the first day, property management addressed it the second day- no further issues with ants. House was dated and smelled musty, Kitchen had appliances that were not fully functional, had to use a bbq lighter to start the stove, only could bake oven at one temperature.

Special Family trip
The property was OK. Not quite as pretty as pictures lead you to believe. Very dated and not totally clean. However, the amenities were nice and we had all we needed. The biggest downside was that there was no air conditioning and it was so miserable trying to sleep. We had high humidity and the floors were sticky and bed linens felt wet at night. Ceiling and floor fans just don't get the humidity out. Hard for 10 of us to get a good nights rest. Probably would not rent this property again.

Perfect arrangement for a 3 generation family of ten!
Lovely home in a quiet residential neighborhood with a terrific outdoor eating and relaxing area and pool. Interesting with the golfers passing by. Good layout for the group that we were, puzzles, board games, beach towels, all had been thought of. Enjoyed the rec center with the kids pool, about a ten minute walk away. Beach was a further five minutes down the road. Would recommend!

Paradise perfection
We loved our stay at the end of January 2018 at this home. We are a family of 8 adults who found the house very spacious and comfortable. It is nicely appointed with a great kitchen. The patio and pool were great. We had many meals outside and everyone enjoyed the pool. The house is walking distance to the beach although we drove. It is conveniently located for many attractions: Waimea Canyon, Lighthouse, whale watching, good assortment of shops and restaurants nearby. The only thing missing was beach chairs and umbrellas which we rented at the beach. Plenty of beach towels were provided. We would highly recommend this home.

Very comfortable!!
Our family of ten truly enjoyed staying here for a week! The pool was used by the four kids whenever we were there! The open floor plan and spacious kitchen were perfect. Beaches, restaurants and golf were very close by. The neighborhood is very nice! The ONLY thing that was a bit frustrating which I'm sure will be over with before long is the construction on condos directly across the golf course behind the house. Deb & Sam
