I can recommend it for maximum 2 nights.

The hostel room has lockers and you can choose your bed when you arrive. When checking in you get a coupon for a free drink.

The beds are quite old and squeaky, not a lot of privacy. There is also no room where you could chill, hang out with people or work - expect of the bar.

Qualität der Betten ausreichend, ruhig und zentral gelegen

Es gab einen Wasserkocher und eine Senseo im Zimmer. Die Lage ist mitten in der Stadt, einfach perfekt. Die Balthasar Bar ist einfach toll. Optisch ist das Zimmer schön. Für die Stadtlage war es sehr ruhig.

Leider war unser Zimmer nicht sauber. Dicke Staubschicht auf den Nachtschränken und Nachttischlampe. Die Bettdecken sind sehr dünn, außer den Bettdecken gab es nur eine sehr dünne Zusatzdecke. Auch die Kopfkissen hatten eine schlechte Qualität.

Sehr coole Unterkunft, das Lokal am Abend für ein gemütliches Bier ist Top. Der Chef ist auch total nett. Gute Lage - eine Empfehlung wert!

I’d would recommend this hostel to family and friends !

Very central for a solo elderly woman. Very convenient and safe!

I found the door locks too tedious to handle.

Gute Lage, angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das BrauHotel ist wirklich sehr gut in der Nähe des Marktes gelegen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, auch wenn die eine oder andere Ecke etwas TLC vertragen könnte. Wasser und Kaffee waren inklusive. Das Freigetränk in der Bar Balthasar war ein netter Bonus.

Personal war auf den ersten Eindruck etwas muffelig, dann aber doch sehr freundlich. Das Doppelzimmer ist leider nicht wirklich auf zwei Personen eingestellt, es gab für die 2. Person keine Ablage am Bett, kein eigenes Licht am Bett und keine Möglichkeit ein Handtuch zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Freitags und Samstags ist die Bar bis 2 Uhr nachts geöffnet. Gerade wenn im Sommer die Leute noch draußen sitzen und man wegen der Temperaturen die Fenster nicht komplett schließen möchte, sollte man auf einen gewissen Geräuschpegel eingestellt sein. (empfindlichen Menschen empfehle ich Ohrstöpsel - oder ein anderes Hotel)

No common space for working but that’s fine. Bedbugs found in the mattress and got severe bites from the bedbugs.

Superb

The hotel has an excellent location. One can easily reach it by metro. It's located in the city center, with many options around.

There's a bar downstairs. The days I was there were warm. I wanted to leave the windows open, but it was too noisy until around midnight. I was there for work. So, I needed to rest. It would be the only aspect to complain about.

Nice basic hostel with friendly staff at a good price in a central location

Efficient hostel, nice setting. Bar downstairs. Rooms are slightly larger than you would anticipate from a regular hostel. Location is very central, smooth check in process and the check out is self serve so no waiting around. Good price relative to other hostels.

Nothing really, its a basic, secure hostel on the upper end of what you would anticipate.

Very Comfortable for a short stay !!

It was just in the city centre and to the main square of Bonn. The owners of the bar/resto which is downstairs probably decided to invest in this small hostel and I suppose they also run the business. The receptionist was super friendly and a very good English speaker. So if you need anything to drink and eat, you can easily go there and enjoy a Kölsch or a meal. I also oved the idea of their welcome drink. Germany is way cheaper than other EU countries, and they do have public markets almost everywhere. 5 steps away from the hostel, you can buy fruits and vegetables. It was very warm while having -2 degrees outside, so don't worry about the heating system and the hot water, both work very well!

The room was super tiny for 3 bunk beds. They have plugs to charge your phone and your camera, but some guys in the top beds complained that the cable was not long enough to achieve the charging process during the nighttime. For those who look for privacy, there are no bed curtains or bed lights, but for me, it was ok, it didn't really bother me. It is expensive for a hostel.

Location in the city center, next to a parking lot. Next to lot of tiny restaurants. It was very clean and tidy in the rooms. Bathrooms were very nice!

Very stylish and cozy room with everything you need, a great location in the city center, and very helpful and pleasant staff. The best craft beer restaurant in Bonn on the ground floor. Thanks for the warm welcome!

it’s not really a good attention or good hospitality

it has a bar

the staff charge me 5 eur extra because of a late check in when my flight was cancelled. Payed everything on the and then they charge me city 5% tax
