About this house rental

Nestled in Turks and Caicos Islands, this lovely house for £334 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. PLEASE DON'T INSTANT BOOK on VRBO or Expedia or Airbnb UNTIL YOU HAVE INQUIRED FIRST, I WILL RESPOND WITHIN 10 MINUTES AND LET YOU KNOW IMPORTANT DETAILS. No high rises or big developments, just you and your loved one on the beach. Our Duplex home is directly on the prettiest developed beach on the whole island (Pillory Beach), and the beaches of the Turks & Caicos Islands are consistently ranked best in the WORLD year after year. Beware of houses north of us, as the beach and water are drastically different - seaweed and rocky. In addition to that, Grand Turk is also ranked in the top 10 SCUBA dive sites in the world year after year . The Turks BeachsideBungalow duplex was extensively remodeled and a huge rear porch added in 2013, now after Hurricane Irma in 2017 we have gone back through and added AIR CONDITIONING to the WHOLE house, (not just the bedrooms) new fridges, new shower tile and fixtures, new king beds and mattresses, a new sofa bed to sleep 6 on the larger side, new decor, and new paint everywhere . And now.... FIBER OPTIC internet WiFi - it's faster than we have at home in Memphis! 2 Bedrooms, each with their own private bath. (2 Bed, 2 Bath) Master has very luxurious KING bed and front bedroom has 2 Twins that can be converted into a King also. Brand new pull-out couch in the Seagull side of our duplex makes for sleeping 6. We also rent our smaller side of the duplex called Sandpiper, it is also 2 bedroom 2 bath and sleeps 4. Rent both side and bring 10 people! Sandpiper is also listed somewhere here on vrbo or find them both together with walk through videos on our main web site. Our house also has the good fortune of being located less than 100 yards from the grocery store with the largest selection on the island and 300 yards in the opposite direction, the nicest restaurant on the whole island at Bohio resort. Bohio is also where you can rent a Hobie Cat, paddleboards, kayaks, and extra bicycles. They also have snorkel trips, scuba trips, and whale watching excursions. All of it just a short walk down the beach just north of our bungalow. At night we will get dressed, walk down the beach to Bohio, take sunset pictures, have a fantastic chef prepared meal, and then walk back to our quiet little BeachsideBungalow under the stars. 4 more island favorite restaurants are towards downtown, a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride away. Plenty of restaurant and bar options on the island. Two bikes per Bungalow side (4 total since it's a duplex) are now available for free to cruise the island. Grand Turk is a special quiet little island which has yet to be discovered by the developers and tourists. We can sit on the beach for hours and sometimes days (non cruise ship days) without seeing a single person. It's Very Special! However, on cruise ship days there will be a bit more activity on the island and near our beach. The cruisers are usually on the island for about 5 to 6 hours during the day, so their impact is pretty limited. A late boat will pack up before 5, so our sunsets are always secluded and private! Year round temperatures of 75 to 85 make for an Ideal winter or summer getaway. We snorkel in December! Getting here is fairly easy, but does require an extra flight to get over to Grand Turk. We usually fly American Airlines to Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, (airport code PLS) and then either Inter Caribbean Air or Caicos Express Airlines to Grand Turk. (about $80 round trip for the puddle jumper). Look these up to purchase separately from your main flight from the US. Getting here instructions and hot-links to airlines can be found on our main website - along with many more pictures, a fantastic "walk you through the house" video and things to do info. Property Protection Fee is mis-labeled as Property Association (it's a VRBO glitch) Thanks for looking, Drew Renshaw from Memphis, TN. There is still one place in the world where you can stroll down a deserted beach hand-in-hand with your loved one, and be the only souls on the sand. - BeachsideBungalow- There is still one tiny, Caribbean destination where you can turn off the world, relax completely, and recharge totally. There is still one island paradise that has escaped the tourist crowds – a place reminiscent of Hemingway’s utterly romantic and delightfully charming Caribbean. This is an oceanfront paradise of long-standing traditions, where fishermen hawk the day’s catches on the beach and fresh lobster and conch always have a place on the table. This is a place of unspoiled, natural beauty – aquamarine surf and fine sands that stretch as far as the eye can see. This is a romantic throwback to old-fashioned island glamour, where open-air cafés line the streets and white gingerbread porches frame pastel-painted clapboard.Welcome to the Caribbean of 40 years ago – a secluded and sleepy island rimmed by golden sands and turquoise sea. Welcome to powdery dunes and narrow, cobblestone streets that once witnessed the footfalls of Taíno Indians and Spanish conquistadors. Welcome to cobalt skies that bleed nightly into hues of fiery orange, summer-ripe cherry, and dusky rose – and the occasional (but always magical) green flash of a Caribbean sunset. The place is Grand Turk. The destination is Pillory Beach. And the oceanfront paradise is BeachsideBungalow. Grand Turk is the Caribbean that few tourists will ever see – a place of few distractions and even fewer crowds. It is spectacularly beautiful. It is wonderfully secluded. It is completely paradise. And it is yours to explore. Welcome to BeachsideBungalow, an oceanfront duplex and your Grand Turk rental home, set on a semi-private beach bordering the exotic Caribbean Sea. Take your choice of Sea Gull, our larger home which sleeps 6, offer two bedrooms, two bathrooms and airy, sun-drenched beach-casual décor – which breezy getaway best suits your needs? Whichever you choose, one thing is for sure: you’ll soon be sipping your morning coffee with your toes bathed in gin clear waters…

My husband and I stayed at the Beachside Bungalow for 12 nights in early January to celebrate our anniversary. We did a lot of research before deciding on Grand Turk and this property. I have made a list of pros and cons. Pros: The beach, water and weather were fabulous. There were very few people on the beach even though a cruise center beach area is just a short distance down the beach. There is a Smart grocery store within 5 minutes from the house and has a good selection and very friendly staff. The Bohio Dive Shop has a very nice open-air beachside bar and restaurant and is within walking distance on the beach or a short golf cart ride. The Arches on the Ridge is a short 10-15 minute golf cart ride and is by far the best restaurant on the island. Amanda and Chef Ed are great! I would highly recommend everything on their menu. Cons: All of the nonstick pans were very scratched. The dishes in the drawers had food and grease on them. All of the drink ware and all of the other dishes were plastic with the exception of a few plates, bowls and coffee cups and many of the dishes had decorative plastic coating that was peeling off. I ended up hand washing all of the dishes as there isn’t a dishwasher. Not a great start to what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation! The next morning we went to the DoIT Center and bought 2 new nonstick pans. The property manager did reimburse us for those before we left. We learned after we complained that there were new plastic dishes and pots and pans in the owner's storage area?! The floors weren’t clean. There appeared to be a pile of sweepings just swept next to the garbage can and left there. Also, there was dust and dust bunnies around the baseboards and toilets and pedestal sinks. The bikes weren't in good working order. They were very rusty and all had flat tires and handlebars and seats that were loose. Ironically, there was a brand new bike that needed to be put together hanging in the shed. The property manager came out to pump tires and try to tighten seats/handlebars but we felt they weren't safe. The pictures on the website appear to be from when the property was first listed. The grounds need some TLC. The stone path leading from the house to the beach are very hard on the feet and require some sort of footwear be worn. This property has an amazing location, but I can't give a higher rating based on the items listed.

My husband and I were trying to figure out where to spend a week off in October and we came across this house in Grand Turk. Although it takes an extra short, inexpensive plane flight from Providenciales, it is well worth it! What was not worth it were the extra fees we paid to VRBO by not renting it directly from Drew on his web page beachsidebungalow. The house has everything you would need plus more you didn't think of. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable...not to mention your own private beach with nightly sunsets right out your door. Also, a short walk down the beach takes you to a great bar and restaurant at the Bohio Dive Resort. The water at the beach, outside the house, is like swimming in a pool with an amazing snorkeling and diving spot accessible from the beach. Drew, the owner, has plenty of snorkeling equipment for all to use and his bikes are all in good repair. We rode everywhere on the bikes all around the island and we got to meet many of the locals. Drew is very well respected and known on the island, and you are immediately embraced as a "local" with this connection. One day, invest in a golf cart and go to the north part of the island to see the lighthouse and end up in the Carnival Cruise Center in the south when the boats are in for the day .Also, there is a very small grocery store that is walking distance from the house, so food is always available in any direction and easily made in the well stocked kitchen. Be sure to book a fishing charter from Kel at Deep Blue Charters, who lives next door and book an intro to SCUBA experience at Grand Turk Diving with Jason and you will have a week you will never forget. We will for sure book this house again, It is a gem. This will be a week of living outside the box and experiencing all the amazing opportunities that this island offers, topped by this amazing house, it is a week you will never forget. Janice Dixon

I don’t even know where to start. From how adorable the home is, to where it is located. The the owners that give you all the info that you need to know, best places to go, instruction that are detailed. This home is truly a slice of paradise. The beach located in front of the home is magnificent you don’t even need to leave to visit anywhere else. Will recommend to anyone that want to get away from all the hustle, to truly relax and enjoy, even if it is for a stay. From a family of 5, 2 adults 3 teens
